Jeremiah 24 I Jehovah will watch over my people and give them a heart! And they will return to me! Oh glorious day when that happens how blessed it will be to be rid of cursed sin that drags us down down down!
Jeremiah 25 I keep sending you my prophets to correct you says Jehovah but time and time again you go back to wickedness and just won't listen! You might just as well have yourself one more party! Drink get drunk vomit and fall down and not get up! Because I'm sending my sword of punishment on you! Oh by the way those people were so hard-headed that they did not listen to Jehovah's word about getting drunk and falling down instead they tried to behave themselves and were killed and taken captive. The few people that actually obey Jehovah and went and got drunk and fell down survived! They did not get blinded and dragged of as slaves but awoke to find the city plundered and we're allowed by the babalonians to live as the vineyard help! So when Jehovah say get stupid drunk and fall down that's the one and only time to get drunk and fall down!
Jeremiah 25 And Jeremiah said stop with your sin every one of you perhaps Jehovah will relent with the destruction!
Jeremiah 27 Don't you believe false prophets that tell you I'm letting you off this time! Instead get humble make work collars for yourself and prepare to serve the king of babalon and I will let those of you that one live!

Well most of the people spent many years in babalonian captivity. A few we're allowed to tend the fields for their captors

Jeremiah 36 And Jehovah had Jeremiah write all these things on a scroll and take them to King jehokim who did not like the prophecy all to Well he had the scroll burned! Oh bad idea!
Jeremiah 37 And Jehovah told Jeremiah to tell the king don't deceive yourself Evan if you defeat the chadeans of babalon I will make them rise up! And the king was so angry he put Jeremiah in jail!

Jeremiah 38 But jeremiah still sent word to jehoachim Why dont you just believe what jehovah said repent and get humble be ready to be slaves! Now the kings really mad! They throw jeremiah into the cistern! More like a septic tank as evidence by him sinking into the mire! It wasnt just a clean water tank poor jeremiah oh yuck!
Jeremiah 39 Then in the 9th year of zedikiah the king of babalon invaded but he and his sons slipped out the back gate an got away the king of babalon chased him down killed his sons in front of him blinded him and put shackes on him taking him to babalon! They burned israel! And took them as slaves leaving behind a few .the few who were laying dead looking because they obeyed jehovahs word to get so drunk that they looked dead! They lived to tend the fields for the king of babalon and got to stay! How dumb was it to go away like that if he had just obeyed jehovah and submited opened the gates and been wearing slave clothes if they had just said here we are your humble slaves we will work for you whatever you ask. The king of babalon would have gone easy many less deaths and they would not have gone blind and miserable but instead as valued servants! When jehovah says submit and live do it. How many lives would have been spared if the babalonians invaded and found an open city of stupid drunk slaves? He would have said who wants to take home a bunch of drunks? He might have just looted the city and left most of them to stay home!
