When we reflect on the way Jehovah has blessed his people over the years with increased
understanding of Bible prophecy, we can appreciate what a wonderful reward lies ahead.

The anointed have the prospect of joining Christ in heaven. What an incentive for them to maintain their power of reason!
We can certainly apply to them Paul’s words written to the Thessalonians: “We are obligated to thank God always for you, brothers
loved by Jehovah, because God selected you . . . by sanctifying you with spirit and by your faith in the truth.â€￾

(2 Thess. 2:13)

And those who look forward to everlasting life on earth should likewise strive to avoid being quickly
shaken from their reason. They can take to heart the loving encouragement that Paul wrote to fellow
anointed ones in Thessalonica, as recorded at2 Thessalonians 3:1-5.

Each of us should deeply appreciate those loving sentiments.

Hi All:

Yeah, they've been all over prophecy. When was their last attempt, the Revelation book, and when was that published? They are too afraid they might be wrong and will get ridiculed to offer any prophetic utterances.

Yes, you're right.

All they've been doing during all these years has been turning in circle, getting nowhere fast, spinning their wheels. Wannabe teachers who have taught nothing truly thought-provoking and groundbreaking for years. They just have repeated what others have rediscovered one hundred years ago and also removed from the official credo the most stupid interpretations which the latter ones had made up, barring the 1914 doctrine... unfortunately.

If they have a gift from the Holy Spirit, it must be the one for evangelizing and teaching but they definitely should let those who have the gift of prophetic understanding and discernement in spiritual matters do their jobs.

It reminds me of a podcast I listened to recently, which was about astronomy. There were two astronomists who were explaining how to spot the most famous constellations in the starry vault this summer.

The first started by talking about Ursa Major, the Great Bear (AE "Big Dipper", BE "Plough"). He said that this one was very easy to spot because of its peculiar shape. This discussion was followed by people online who could make live comments through a chat application.

One of them said that they had tried on several occasions to spot the Great Bear and so even with a map of the sky in hand. They asked : "Please, what should I do ?" The astronomists cracked up and one of them answered tactfully : "Well, if you can't find the Great Bear with a map of the stars in hand, I suggest you to find another hobby...."

Well, quite sobering a suggestion that some people would be wise to follow....

Well if we look at the past, for example when things "sped up" after the Roman slow motion downfall, we see those who explained the 7th King and 8th King "image" meanings had to be PAYING ATTENTION TO THE MODERN EVENTS of that time.

But if we read Awake! we see the USSR downfall, Global NATO (1999), 911, the Global War on Terror, the biggest credit crisis in history in and since 2008, the obvious nature of US global decline in manufacturing, the central banking rackets of debt creation revealed, NONE OF IT is explained as "global developments in light of Bible prophecy", as they also relegate all prophecy to the has been file. (Awake! is an outdated JOKE!)

Well no wonder they "see" no prophecy fulfilling, they consistently ignore HUGE global events, as Bethel JW dumb-down policy.

So we are talking a totally isolated and ignorant GB that has nothing to say about prophecy, because they are clueless, or act clueless on all these post 1990 global developments' impact, as all of globalization maturity is also IGNORED. They totally ignore how world government is to capitalize on the US EU financial meltdown and "7th King" downfall cycle. (Dan11:42-43)

But they sure got many JWs expecting the end of the organization, by "the attack of the Assyrian" "soon, very soon". So they do have their smokescreen set up, but leave JWs clueless as to those global developments just mentioned, and how much more has yet to take place en route to world government. It is all "selective" on what to repeat over and over again, and what to ignore entirely.

And if some JWs ignore global research and modern news, then they too are as isolated as the GB wants them to be, and can then also expect the end any day now. But it looks like Bethel will end long before the world system, it is just en route to 8th King world government, as JWs are fully derailed in all modern reality of propehcy and global developments for 25 full years of total darkness.
