    Israel Doubts God’s Love
2“I have loved you,” says the Lord.
“But you ask, ‘How have you loved us?’
“Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the Lord. “Yet I have loved Jacob, 3but Esau I have hated, and I have turned his hill country into a wasteland and left his inheritance to the desert jackals.”
4Edom may say, “Though we have been crushed, we will rebuild the ruins.”

    Malachi chapter 2
And now, O Mal. 1:6priests, this commandment is for you.
    2(Lev. 26:14, 15; Deut. 28:15)If you will not hear,
And if you will not take it to heart,
To give glory to My name,”
    Says the Lord of hosts,
“I will send a curse upon you,
And I will curse your blessings.

And I'm stopping at that point right there because I want to focus on what this scripture actually says this scripture says that if you don't Revere the name of God that you're going to be cursed how many priests today pastors they stand up there and they talk about God and they talk about the Lord but how often do you hear them speak the name of Jehovah and tell people how important that name is? download.jpeg

    Malachi chapter 3
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those .

    Malachi chapter 4
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.”

Genesis chapter 1 for the purposes of this Bible study with text interaction we will be using the aloud Bible application of the new international version off of the Google Play Store. This particular app will read the entire chapter to you and you can pick the speed at which you want it to read to you and the voice at which you want it to read to you after which we will ask questions we're going to ask one question for each person who is participating in the Bible study example if we have 10 people joining in we will ask a total of 10 questions about Genesis chapter 1 if there are only three people joining us then we will only have three questions the questions will appear in this box. And you the participant from your phone we'll go ahead and either post it right here as we do our study or communicate it by text and I will post it I say let's try this for a couple weeks and see if this causes us to grow.

    What can It ?possibly hurt.
Now that everybody has read Genesis chapter 1 or use the app I'm going to ask the one single question when God created all the plants and the trees what one single thing do they all have in common.?

The first person to post your answer right here gets a big Standing Ovation from me!!!

adamandeve.jpg 1Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.

2By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

    Adam and Eve
4This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

5Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground, 6but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. 7Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

8Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. 9The LordGod made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

10A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. 11The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12(The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin and onyx are also there.) 13The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush. 14The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Ashur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

15The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

18The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

19Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals.

But for Adam no suitable helper was found. 21So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. 22Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

    23The man said,

“This is now bone of my bones

    and flesh of my flesh;

    she shall be called ‘woman,’

for she was taken out of man.”

24That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.

25Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame

And now the question for Genesis chapter 2.
After Adam named all the animals he noticed there was something missing from the Garden of Eden what was that thing? And what did Jehovah do about it?

    Genesis chapter 3
1 Chr. 21:1; (Rev. 12:9; 20:2, 10)the serpent was 2 Cor. 11:3more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
2And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the Gen. 2:16, 17fruit of the trees of the garden; 3but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you Ex. 19:12, 13; Rev. 22:14touch it, lest you die.’

The question for Genesis chapter 3 and don't think it's always going to be easy because I'll make them harder as time goes along.
We all know the story how the serpent deceived Eve Eve ate the fruit and gave some to her husband but what to Sins did Adam make? I'm going to guess that his second son is what really made Jehovah mad! By the way I noticed that this picture of Eve eating the fruit actually depicts the forbidden fruit like it should depict it as a giant red fig instead of an apple! tmp-cam-188084992.jpg 318px-Book_of_Genesis_Chapter_3-5_(Bible_Illustrations_by_Sweet_Media).jpg tmp-cam--641617767.jpg
