Classic! I remember when Star Wars first came out and I laid eyes on the Millenium Falcon. At the time, I thought to myself: "I have GOT to get me one of them!"
I just realized I haven't been aware of this thread ...hahahahah I avoid commercial's . I have always used them to do "little things" around the house , also since I can't justify "TV" if it's been on I have to be "doing something" which is why I make "blankets" , also foreign commercials have always "exceeded" the US one's in hilarity (they used to offer a complete show with just foreign commercials) the only ones I would voluntarily watch. am just now looking at some of the above , the Pugeot one was more than classic ..I see the girl now ..."I'll take one of each please" ...it is truly a sad thing that so many "really are" affected by the hidden concepts for "shopping" in the system ...
Pet Home Security (This is already posted on the "animals" thread but I thought I would post it here as well.)
WF , my son owned three of those ...I loved driving them . I took him and the car into have some work done and the man we were dealing with said " you do realize this particular car kills more men your sons age than any other" ....so where does one find such information that a particular car has a detrimental effect on a certain age of the male gender ....one was lost by being hit by someone else , one stolen and one sold off ...guess I should be happy with the outcome .
I remember watching "The Waltons" TV show. Years ago, I worked for a company that had several part-time employees. I was employed full-time. Often, my dinner break coincided with the time that the part-timers finished their shifts. As they left the floor, they filed past the boss and wished him goodnight before heading downstairs to the carpark. "Night boss.....night boss.....night boss.....night boss.....night boss, etc, etc" Occasionally, my "maverick" side would take over and I followed the part-timers through the door: "Night boss." (But I was headed for the tea room for dinner.) About 30 seconds later, he checked to see that I was definitely in the tea room.
Do you drive on the Right or the Left? Well, if it's tough for an Aussie to drive here in the USA, then I'd would freak if I had to drive in Oz/England/Japan,,, This first video clip is a Digger driving around LA, for the first time, hah! Around the Twist![
When I was in the USA, I wasn't game to drive - thought that my brain might go on "automatic pilot." Went on a few day trips and I was able to get a seat up front near the bus driver. Mentally speaking, my brain kept "screaming" at me: "Watch out!"
"Please forgive our profanity!" Laughing Out Loud! Whatta Freak out,,,Culture Clash hey! This Dallas Cowboy dude sure showed Some,,,without wussing out,,,
