As usual, Robert's calm analysis, even if my own thoughts slightly vary, is very up-building.

"Questions considered on this program: Will the refuge crises in Europe bring about the fall of Christendom? Are the demons dying of old age? What is going on with the Trump phenomenon in America? And who are the princes whom Jesus will appoint in all the earth?"

i was a bit stumped when Robert said he didn't take of the emblems privately or publicly..??????..he wrote of it...it wasn't in the podcast...and yes I always look forward to his podcasts....

I'll be so glad when all these queries will be a thing of the past...and no more confusion on how to worship Jehovah...

If you have any question about how to worship Jehovah, read Isaiah 1!! Can't emphasize this enough.

This issue of the emblems is almost comical... reminds me of the golden calf.

There is no "power" in the emblems, but in what they represent. It seems that some Christians (cough Catholicism cough) have turned them into "icons for getting power"....

Taking the emblems or not is irrelevant... Isaiah 1, Isaiah 1, Isaiah 1!

Discerning the emblems and partaking in the blood and body of Christ is the point: not eating unleavened bread and drinking a sip of wine.

The whole discussion of late about the memorial has exposed a bit of a "Catholic" conception creeping into our understanding.

    Ask yourself this:

will the chosen be "unchosen" if they failed to eat the unleavened bread or drink a sip of wine?

    Conversely:

will the chosen be "unchosen" if they fail to discern what the emblems mean?

I absolutely agree. To partake or not to partake, I see the reasoning on either side. I am comfortable being obedient to the direction of how to observe for right now, while the WTS is the organization jehovah works through...whether they are correct or not. But to believe that by not partaking there is some loss of connection with Christ is to go too near to the Catholic belief that the emblems are some magically transformed token that unite us physically with our savior. Danger zone!

I think this that GB forbids non-anointed to partake from the emblems serves a good purpose for the future when WT org will go down. Because then local anointed can take on them the responsibility of feeding spiritually, because those anointed have made themselves known to the congregations.

WHAT!!!!...... Are you saying we have everything BACKWARDS.... Haha....
Hey I listen to perimenos arguments about how we should all partake...then the societies then Roberts....and I still cannot work that one out...they all sound reasonable to me.
So how am I to work out about an annoited NOT partaking at all...

I'm not even going to try..what I see as important now...is to get my faith in Jehovah and his son as unshakable....to be patient and bite my tongue a lot...get the basics right...beg for his spirit....do good works....dig deep into his words ...and if my eyes get opened to something...Ill know it was he that did it....
How come my emoticons don't work....grrrr...they never work....

I think my point is that we're all partaking already :)

Eating unleavened bread and drinking a sip of wine is symbolic for what Jehovah's Witnesses (I'll let other religions speak for themselves) are doing! "keep doing this in remembrance of me" was an instruction to have an annual acknowledgement of Jesus body and blood.

NOT "magical powers" or statements of one's "righteousness" by way of symbolic gestures.

This is why I equate the "Catholicized" conception of the emblems to the golden calf.

Those who fail to discern what the bread and wine symbolize are under judgment (1 Cor 11); and this is EXACTLY what the Catholicized version of the "magical power" emblems is.

Mere religiosity. The anti-thesis of Isaiah 1.

    By way of question, yes!

“Of what benefit to me are your many sacrifices?” says Jehovah. - Isaiah 1:11a

Jehovah instituted by way of law that Israel perform sacrifices for forgiveness of sin... no sacrifice, no forgiveness.

So why would Jehovah ask this question?

He said it in answer to a demand made by Basavaraj Of North Karnataka on this page:
    https://e-watchman.com/what-about-the-7000-who-are-killed/
Basavaraj asked if it will partake and Robert answered that he will not and did not partook since years.
    And he said:
"The way I see it, partaking does not make one anointed. Neither does not partaking make one un-anointed. As Paul said, 'Jehovah knows those who belong to him.' I am sure he is fully aware of the awkward situation I and others are in. There has to be some allowances made."

I really like Basavaraj; he's been commenting for a few years, a genuine person.

Maybe we can get him on here :)

    Thanks for this link.
If was interesting to know how Robert reasons. But I think it would have been better if he had taken from the bread and wine if he is able to "discern the body". That had been a good witnessing to that congregation. May be next time he will partake.

But I liked that Robert played with the idea in the latest podcast that Donald Trump would suit as a final ruler for USA. Because he talked that somebody has to "punish" Jehovah's organization for their errors. And Donald Trump would surely not have any problems to do that.

Now that's interesting, I agree I can see Donald Trump having no problem "firing" the JW's, haha. I don't quite know if I feel I can connect him to the scriptures, but we will see how that all plays out...
