    Dear visitor,

Welcome to e-jw.org, an online community of Jehovah's Witnesses. We hope you find yourself comfortable in this open-door virtual Kingdom Hall where sincere Christian worshipers of Jehovah God gather for mutual spiritual interchange and support, as well as frank and open discussions about our faith.

Please note that this is a Jehovah's Witnesses friendly environment. Due to the fact that we, as earnest Bible students, value first and foremost what Jehovah and Christ Jesus teach us through the Inspired Scriptures, we endeavor then to imitate the ancient Bereans who studied the Bible with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the Scriptures daily. Some of the views stated in the articles and discussions in this website may express a degree of disagreement with some of the official doctrines upheld by the current leadership of the Jehovah's Witnesses, the Governing Body of the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society. (Acts 17:11)

However, it is our belief that Jehovah's Witnesses have come to understand correctly some core truths, such as the unique individuality of the Almighty God, Jehovah, our Creator; the distinct identity of his Son, Jesus Christ, the King of God's Kingdom and the Leader of the true Christian congregation; the unique nature of the Holy Spirit as God's active force; the rejection of idolatry, paganism, atheism and any form of spiritualism; the sanctity of blood; the necessity to preach the Good News; as well the adherence to the Bible, in particular the teachings and commandments of Christ as our moral guide; the hope of eternal life on earth as a graceful gift from God to those who exercise faith in Jesus' sacrifice, etc, and these are truths that we will continue to support. It has become a proven fact that the 1914 doctrine is an artfully contrived story, along with the other prophetic interpretations that ensue from it, we are therefore at variance with the official teachings of the Governing Body in that regard. However, we tacitly approve all the other doctrines officially accepted by the Jehovah's Witnesses. Do you agree with these? Then you are most welcome to join us in this safe haven for our common faith, enjoying in your mind the glorious freedom of the children of God.- Romans 8:21

Though some doctrines and procedures officially held by the Governing Body of the Jehovah's Witnesses have been proven lacking and down right false by those of the members of this community, this does not mean that we wish to harbor among us those whose sole purpose is to denigrate the Watchtower Society at any cost; who wish to free us from what they consider a dangerous cult; or former Jehovah's Witnesses who hold a hateful resentment against their former religion and brethren; or those who use abusive language, cursing or blasphemous discourse. We doNOT welcome such behavior and will make sure that blatant displays of such disposition will not be tolerated here. There are plenty of other websites that suit that purpose, but this isn't one of them.

We understand and have similarly experienced negativity from the operation and procedures of the Watchtower Bible & Track Society in the form of private reproofs, judicial committees, disfellowshipping and much more. We understand the reasons why some may take an oppositional stand against the Watchtower Society and we keep respecting them; however, those who take membership of this website also respect those who chose to remain active members of the congregation; and certainly, in the broad spirit of Isaiah 43:10, in our hearts, we are all taking the side of Jehovah as His witnesses.

If you strongly object to be in contact with spiritual brothers and sisters who don't all feel bound by the leadership of the Governing Body to mediate their relationship with Jehovah and Christ Jesus, then let your conscience be your guide. Also note that among those who participate in this community, there are active members of Jehovah's Witnesses congregations, some of them being anointed, as well as some others who may have been disfellowshipped or who may have disassociated themselves in the past but who wish nevertheless to keep respectfully in touch with Jehovah's Witnesses in one way or the other. If this troubles your conscience, then consider with prayer if this is a place for you to be.

Still with us? Great! Feel free to observe and ask questions even before you decide to sign in as an active member. If you're just starting to take interest in our beliefs and wish to know more, feel free to approach us and ask questions. We'll do our best to answer them.
