I have been hearing news reports about the extreme weather in the U.S - from what I've seen on TV, it seems to be around the New York area. A news report today, said that the frozen rivers are supposed to be thawing out. Is there a risk of flooding in those affected areas, when this occurs?
Hi All: Here are some stunning pictures of Niagra Falls in New York/Canada borderland. These are during the "polar vortex" that was no doubt caused by global warming, as everything negative in the weather is, of course. Anyway, you'll like these photos, I think. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...cord-breaking-temperatures-tourist-mecca.html frank
Hi All: Here's a picture of niagra falls in 1911 when it was even colder than the other day. Imagine that, even before the "climate change" era. Wonder what caused this amazing cold spell? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...783.1073741828.216386761840498&type=1&theater frank
I have to say that this is a line that has been used a lot in my family: "It'll be a cold day in hell, before I .........etc,etc."
