Hi Wallflower: They are my favorite breed of dog. Lucky looks a lot like my last Golden Chloe. Nice Video. Hard to believe they weren't in the water rather than on the water. Chloe would have been right in that pool swimming around until you chased her out. frank

My cat sits like this while watching TV and "reading" the newspaper with me.
My cat was tugging at my heartstrings today. Put some food out for Puss and called it to come eat. Puss didn't come over and just lay there, meowing softly. I was a bit worried and thought that maybe Puss might be ill. So I encouraged the cat to get up and eat so it would feel a little better. Puss continued to lay there, meowing softly and looking up at me with big eyes. So I picked the cat up and carried it to the food bowl. When I laid the cat down again, it instantly sprang up on all 4 paws and started to devour the food! I think Puss was faking it and just didn't feel like walking to the food bowl. Wallflower

WOW!!! I think that will have to go on my to-do list. (And here I was thinking I was close to the crocs when going in a boat down a river that was full of 'em.)
I visited an animal shelter recently - and I just wanted to bring 'em all home with me! There was a kitten who looked to be about 2 months old. He had a MEOW that was bigger than he was! He knew the routine too - every time the door opened and someone walked into the cat section, he meowed at the top of his little lungs. Then there was a very handsome looking 3 year old cat - very laid back manner, totally relaxed and stretched out on his back, looked over at me and gave this relaxed meow and then stretched his paws. Seriously, he looked like a cat that was very comfortable "in his own skin," or perhaps I should say, "in his own fur." ("To be comfortable in your own skin" - to be relaxed and comfortable with who you are.) And the dogs were adorable too, some were snoozing, others came up to the door of their pen and "pleaded" with their eyes. They can sure tug at the heart strings! Wallflower
