Elijah and the Ravens - RAY PRITCHARD
    https://www.keepbelieving.com/sermon/elijah-and-the-ravens/
It is important to read the sermon from Ray Pritchard. We can all learn from this wonderful sermon.

1 Kings 17:2-7 “And the Word of Jehovah came to him, saying, Go away from here; and you shall turn eastward and shall hide by the torrent Cherith, that is before Jordan. And it shall be, you shall drink of the torrent; and I shall command the ravens to feed you there. And he went and did according to the Word of Jehovah; for he went and lived by the torrent Cherith, that is before Jordan. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the torrent. And it happened after a while, that the torrent dried up, because there was no rain in the land.” ( 1 Kings 17:2-7 LITV )

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1Cor 13:4-7)

The times have become hard. When hard times come upon us, we may become depressed and down hearted. We must listen to the word of Jehovah, to build us up. “The steps of a good man are established from Jehovah; and He will delight in his way. Though he falls, he is not cast down; for Jehovah upholds his hand. I have been young and am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, or his seed begging bread. All the day he is gracious and lends; and his seed is for a blessing. Turn away from evil and do good and live forever.”
    ( Ps 37:23-27 LITV )

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in the shade of the Almighty.
I will say to Jehovah: My Refuge and my Fortress, my God; I will trust in Him.
For He delivers you from the fowler’s snare, from destruction’s plague.” ( Ps 91:1-3 LITV )

Anyone dwelling in the secret place of the Most High will lodge under the shadow of the Almighty I will say to Jehovah: ‘You are my refuge and my stronghold, My God in whom I trust.’ For he will rescue you from the trap of the bird-catcher, From the destructive pestilence.” ( Ps 91:1-3 NWT )

I like the new JW site layout. It is very convenient, especially the NWT access.

I posted this before I played the song. What a beautiful song. Near the end of the song, my dog Wolfgang, wolfed. I looked down at him, and he was sleeping. I asked him if he was dreaming because of the song. He wolfed again.:)

In my post of Psalm 91, I wondered about the use of bird-catcher in verse 3. So, as usual I went to my Hebrew to show the meaning and translation. The word is yaquwsh = yaw-koosh', meaning trapper, bait-layer. Ahh-Haa!! The root word Yaqosh has the meaning: to lure, entice, to lure and set a trap. Sounds like a politician.

That is exactly what Satan is doing right here on earth. Strong’s definition = to lay snares (fig. of devices of wicked). Retribution: the dispensing or receiving of reward or punishment especially in the hereafter. Reward or punishment. I prefer reward!!:)
Especially today, with this virus floating around. The dummies supposedly in charge, think it chooses people depending on their political views.
