    What a statement.

Our creator is telling us from the beginning that we would not truly act according to understanding.

"A bull well knows its buyer"

"But Israel does not know me" Says Isaiah.

Time is an interesting thing, as it obscures the obvious.

So when "From the sole of the foot to the head, nothing is healthy" in our spiritual battle, we shouldn't be surprised, but realize that with time Jehovah makes the bad into good. His laws and instruction will fix all things, with mercy as the guide, and his power over all things the strength.

    This will happen:

With justice Zion will be redeemed, And her people who return, with righteousness.

If there is one chapter to understand as a believer in Jehovah and his Son, it's might be Isaiah 1

    Isaiah 1
“Come now, let us settle the matter,
    says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow" style
though they are red as crimson,
    they shall be like wool.
19 If you are willing and obedient,
    you will eat the good things of the land;
20 but if you resist and rebel,
you will be devoured by the sword.
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Today I caught two relatives on the phone talking about the 1914 generation trying to rationalize how it totally makes sense for a generation to be 4 generations and 120 years.

For me when people are like this it comes across as weakness (true spiritual weakness not the orgs questioning anything definition) especially given how many exjw's turn to atheism. The organization promotes itself so much to lose faith in a bureaucracy for many is to lose faith in God himself. I don't want to come across as emotional negativity frustration has been replaced with compassion/pity for a long time. The main thing lately is various positive reforms have become clearer in my mind that I know won't occur. I have to wait it out for Christ to resolve everything.

At least there are some people even elders that hint privately they are not dogmatic about it. There was one annointed elder that tried to probe me on overlapping generations in the ministry a few years ago and agreed with my respectful assessment that brother Splane wasn't teaching with authority but presenting the soundest 1914 compatible hypothesis he could generate.

I agree with you on having to wait it out until Christ comes back and clears it all up.....our confusion over 1914 and the generation is surely a testing of faith for so many, it’s very interesting that Jesus allowed the apostles to go out preaching with the wrong understanding of the kingdom returning in their time.
They were so desperate for relief...so excited...so needing...full of spiritual energy and zealousness....and all along he knew they had wrong expectations of the timing of Gods kingdom......sort of like his people today.
He’s allowed it for a purpose.....
I liked your last paragraph....that was well said...I have to try to remember that explanation :)
