Not sure where the idea has come from that we, here on the forum, believe that the WT will be restored.

In the future, when the WT collapses, there will be brothers and sisters who will be confused and in shock about what has happened.

The GB tells them that the WT will survive the great tribulation and Armageddon. But the prophecies don't indicate that. "Judgement starts first with the house of God." (1 Peter 4:17.) So the brothers and sisters will not be expecting this event to happen.

We will have a new ministry then - to help the brothers and sisters understand what has happened and why. We will need to help strengthen their faith and encourage them "to stand on their own two feet" (spiritually speaking.)

There will be no such thing as turning to the GB or to the WT for direction, as it will be gone.

The forum is here to assist those who are looking for answers and dealing with issues, in need of encouragement.

I don't particularly have hostile feelings towards you, on the contrary ! Many of us here on this db have more or less gone through the same hardships as you because of the stupidity of men and/or the GB's yoke on the org and can relate to them.

But it's true that the one thing that I can't stand is to be taken for a fool, especially by people who claim to be anointed and then use such a status to pose platitudes as divine revelations. As some point, some people must live up to their claims if they want to be trusted by sensible persons, especially if they exhort them to make terribly life-changing decisions.

It is your right to fall for the spiritual Zorro they think they are but I'll never endorse what I consider as spiritual charlatanism.

Thankyou for your reply Utuna, I respect how you feel & of course it is your own personal right to feel what you wish but with regards to what you said above, have I mentioned being anointed? Also with regards to divine revelations, does not having the scriptures truth revealed to the one studying them come under a divine revelation? Does not the Holy Spirit help guide us in our study & understanding if we so request it from our heavenly Father in prayer?
