Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time.—Rev. 12:12.

In 1914, war broke out between nations of Europe—a war that spread and engulfed the whole world. By the time it ended in 1918, terrible food shortages had been experienced and there was a flu epidemic in which more people died than were killed in the war. Thus “the sign” that Jesus had given to identify his invisible presence as earth’s new King started to be fulfilled. (Matt. 24:3-8;Luke 21:10, 11)

Ample evidence points to the year 1914 as the time when “a crown was given” to the Lord Jesus Christ. He “went out conquering and to complete his conquest.” (Rev. 6:2) He cleansed the heavens in a war against Satan and his demons, who were hurled down to the vicinity of the earth. Ever since, mankind has experienced the truthfulness of the inspired words of today’s text.w156/15 4:13

Satan was not cast from the heavens in 1914. He has been cast down recently and we are about to see the temper tantrum he is about to throw. Stay out of his way if you can.

Frank, how many times is Gordon going to push back his dates? I keep hearing him say this day, that day. I keep hearing you say this day, that day, and guess what happens? That day comes and goes.... When are you two going to see what's going on, and what you are doing?

Whoa, is there an old post that has been discussed on why you believe he's been recently cast down? I'm just curious, if there isn't another clever '607' story behind it.

Dark-Lous, you can read my understanding of when Satan was cast out here: "Rev 12 / Verse by Verse"

I believe the text tells us Satan was cast out the moment Jesus returned to heaven.

Although there are those that put forth the idea that John must have written Revelation before the fall of Jerusalem in 70 C.E., regardless the first verse of Revelation tells us that the things spoken about in Revelation were to happen in the future. Whether that future was a few days or months or even years.... it is a future event from when John wrote his letter. We are not to understand prophecy as speaking about events that have already occurred. So, since John received this Revelation years after Jesus was resurrected to heaven, it is impossible that Revelation 12 is speaking of Satan being ejected from heaven until at least Revelation was penned and distributed to the congregations.

Plus, in Revelation 12 it mentions a Seven Headed, 10 horned beast that exists near the end of this system of things, not any where near the time that Jesus was resurrected to heaven.

"Another sign was seen in heaven. Look! A great fiery-colored dragon,+ with seven heads and ten horns and on its heads seven diadems;*4 and its tail drags a third of the stars+ of heaven, and it hurled them down to the earth.+ And the dragon kept standing before the woman+ who was about to give birth, so that when she did give birth, it might devour her child."

I'm not even sure why you take the time to rebuttal Frank, you know what I'm going to say, I disagree with you.

Clearly Rev 12:5 is speaking of Christ Jesus being baptized, sacrificed and ascending into heaven.

Rev 12:5 "And she gave birth to a son, a male, who is to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod. And her child was snatched away to God and to his throne."

Just because Rev 1 mentions John would receive information about events to come is absolutely no proof the book wouldn't mention events that had already taken place, come on...

You think that the male child is Jesus and the woman is Mary? Come ON!

The women is God's organizational arrangement first spoken about in Genesis 3:15. You do own a Bible right?

Gen 3:15 "And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring. He will crush your head, and you will strike him in the heel.”
