What is that singlecell?

 

I have been a member of this forum for many years. It took me a while to actually join in with conversation that I believed would be up building and educational. I’ve tried to use the methods of teaching as those used by Jesus and the apostles.

I chose the to use tsaphah as a representative “handle”, because of the meaning, and my military background. I also chose it because in the years I have been associated with this forum, I have noticed certain individuals who were not truly “witnesses” of Jehovah, or his son, Jesus. Oh, they make the claim of being such but, in the long run, they are not. I’ve been able to evaluate their posts, subjects, thoughts, and mind set. What I have found is that they usually raise questions about our beliefs, our standing, and whether we actually “hate” the WTB&TS. They use a slick, hidden agenda. They challenge our belief based on their thinking that; “If they don’t like the WTB&TS, they will be easy prey.”

These are the ones Jesus warned us about. He called them what they are: Wolves, serpents, and vipers. These comparisons that Jesus used are indicative of their actions. There is a difference between a “serpent” and a “viper”. In the Greek, (herpeton [her-pet-on']) a viper is used to address cunning, malignant, wicked men. “You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. The good man brings out of his good treasure what is good; and the evil man brings out of his evil treasure what is evil. But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” ( Mt 12:34-37 NASB )

Paul used the term “serpent” (Greek - ophis [office]) in his second letter to the congregation in Corinth, warning them to not be easily misled. “But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.” ( 2 Cor 11:3 NASB ) The apostle James speaks of the tongue as being an uncontrollable part of our body. “So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things.” He does not say that it is like a serpent but, he says it is “a restless evil and full of deadly poison.”, similar to a snake. The Native Americans used a term when speaking of someone who is not truthful. “He speaks with forked tongue!” Once again, similar to a snake. Not all snakes are dangerous, but all vipers are.

James goes on to say that persons who do things in a selfish ambitious manner are not representing God, “but is earthly, natural, demonic.” They wish to cause “disorder and every evil thing.” They do not wish to sow seeds of “righteousness and peace.” They ask questions in the same manner as their father; Satan the devil. “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” (Gen 3:1 NASB ) Notice how that question was phrased. It was a lie right from the beginning.

As a “watcher”, I become alerted to such phrasing, and how certain questions are asked, or certain statements are said. My first sense is to ask myself, “What are they looking for?” As stated by one of these individuals, “I was hoping somebody would require me to qualify the statement.” To me that said, “I’m looking for a mark.” In the world of con artists that means an easy target. A vulnerable victim.

This forum is not the “Broadway of the Carnival”. Do not become their prey. Do not get entangled in their trap. You will waste a lot of time and arrive at no conclusion, only frustration.

Administrators and Moderators, be watchful.

 

I have thought about this for some time...so much thinking and reasoning has gone into this decision

it is time for me to leave...as I dont want to associate with these ones and I believe I would blatantly be ignoring Jehovahs direct command not to have anything to do with such wolves that have made their inroads onto the forum.

They have put themselves in opposition to Jehovah and I don't want to be caught standing anywhere near them when Jehovahs anger blazes...as I have enough of my own sins to worry about.

I personally do not think Jehovah would view anyone lightly who constantly engages in continuing conversations with them..so brothers please be careful....I really don't think you realize just how serious such actions are.

Ask yourselves....would you sit and have a In depth conversation with Judas after he had betrayed Jesus...would you even engage in any of his explanations or listen to his reasons on any scripture after what he had done.....could you trust anything that come of his tongue.....

Each must stand before Jehovah and show their loyalty at the final day.....I don't know how I will stand but I'm going to keep trying ...but if I stay here I know I will be working against my own conscience and even common sense.

But I just can't be party to this anymore...and off course I cannot object anymore than I already have.
They may have conned some of you..but not me.
This forum was unique.....I won't be joining another one as where would I find one that was of this caliber....there isn't one out there...and I keep an eye on all of them...so I know..

So much heartfelt love to you all...and please exercise caution ...as you have welcomed and now tolerating wolves amongst you.
This is no longer a safe haven for sheep.

And really, when have I not used basic scriptures to prove my belief that Jesus' Gospel has been over-run by WT years ago?

Joshua, my quote above is yours when you admitted some in churches in the world actually do understand the simple nature between God and Christ, and are in the temple courtyard.

I'm sorry that most of you here apparently have very little-to-no personal experience of going to different churches to see what really is believed about God, and Christ. Or what they think of JW's...which is really important.

Also, how devoted many are in their personal lives...and we can compare that, with JW family relationships, happiness, balance, and LOVE for one another.

Really, I hate to see a measure of hate emerge toward me, as I am being disbelieved to the point of being accused of having a demon, or under Satan's very tutelage.

And THAT attitude is a very JW one that persists to this day, and is evidence of the internal rot that is ruining WT daily.

The fall of WT is 100% attributable to their pride, isolationist attitude, and egotistical stance that their doctrines come straight from God to the FDS , and bypass Jesus Christ and his gospel, as outlined by the apostles, and himself.

Now, I'm not begging you to come out of WT anymore. It is clearly, even by your own admission, a tumbling house of cards. You admit it, and now want to leave when I agree.

Like I said many times; Because I'm not a Witness anymore, I'm not supposed to call them down on any disgrace. That is reverse-bigotry. I've seen it in Mississippi for 40 years. Now, I'm out of MS.

I would rather leave than see your area of 'comfort' and comradery upset. When I go to a post that says, 'Forum'...that should include a certain freeness of speech for all; not just moderators, shouldn't it?

I am not asking anyone to follow me, or join any church.

 

No, really, I would rather stay away than ruin the association you who have been here for years have. It is like your Kingdom Hall away from home, and where you can go to openly discuss the important questions. If I am a stumbling block, I must go.

So, anyway, I go wishing you all the truth and holy spirit worship Jesus prescribes, along with love out of a complete heart.This has been a joy, mostly, to be here, and I will miss the site. But I will find other places to go.

it matters Josh because it is disloyal to Jehovah to listen to these ones and their ranting knowing full well what is their main aim behind their so called discussions.

There are two men here who are very dangerous..and in time I believe you will come to see it more fully.

I know this is not a Kingdom Hall ..but it is a family.
These two men are trying to pull away or sow doubts about the family head and his way of ruling his family.

Jehovahs instructions on keeping the congregation clean are the same principles on keeping a family spiritually clean also.

How can you not see you are putting up and thus condoning the sect of Nicoulus spoken of in Revelation.
This is exactly what is happening here....

I know how you feel. But, it is not necessary for you to leave. We can all benefit each other with up-building information. We do not have to associate (reply or give recognition) to those whom we have been warned about, or feel have a negative message. It reminds me of what Paul said to the Corinthians; “. . .because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.” (1 Co 16:9 NIV ) Paul also had to deal with those who attempted to sway believers with false information. Paul said, “I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved—and that by God.” (Php 1:27b-28 NIV ) Paul’s message to Timothy, urging him to continue his preaching and teaching said, “As I urged you upon my departure for Macedonia, remain on at Ephesus so that you may instruct certain men not to teach strange doctrines, nor to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculation rather than furthering the administration of God which is by faith. But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. For some men, straying from these things, have turned aside to fruitless discussion, wanting to be teachers of the Law, even though they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they make confident assertions.” ( 1 Ti 1:3-7 NASB )

Like Paul’s letter to Timothy, I use the same words for you. “. . . you fight the good fight, keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith. Among these are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan, so that they will be taught not to blaspheme.” ( 1 Ti 1:18b-20 NASB )
