    Yup, I'm making a thread about this.

    You've probably heard this all before, that behind closed doors, wealthy Jews wield a powerful influence over the nations of this world.

    Indeed, 1948's Zionist state of Israel has been center stage for 50 years now; and if you believe the 'conspiracy' theories it was the Rothschild (and other) Jewish families who helped established 'the return of Israel'.

    In this framework, I will seek to show the possibility that Jerusalem has become Babylon the Great.

    More to come soon ...

    (I hope this doesn't offend your sensibilities, and to be clear I'm not talking about "Jews" in any sort of negative connotation - rather history, institution, and influence - akin to saying "anglo-America" is the 7th head of the beast)

    Looking forward to this discussion.

    I too have been working on a rather large framework regarding this exact topic and look forward to the interchange of ideas. In short, the Israelite nation, once it had been taken into captivity into Babylon adopted the esoteric teachings of the Talmud and the Kabbalah, the mystical teachings of Babylon. Once dispersed throughout the nations, these teachings have spread, and have to a great extent influenced the religious teachings we now see, and have influenced the entire world politically, economically, and spiritually . I had never considered Jerusalem to be BTG, however I can see the links between the two do exist.

    Looking forward to your thesis statement being expounded upon...and hope I can contribute to your cause.

    Drunk with the blood

    Rev 17:6 - Babylon the Great

    "And I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the holy ones and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus."

    Rev 18:24 - Babylon the Great

    "Yes, in her was found the blood of prophets and of holy ones and of all those who have been slaughtered on the earth."

    Acts 26:10b - Jerusalem

    "for I had received authority from the chief priests; and when they were to be executed, I cast my vote against them"

    Matthew 23:35 - Jerusalem

    "so that there may come upon you all the righteous blood spilled on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zech·a·ri′ah son of Bar·a·chi′ah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar"

    Rev 11:8 - Jerusalem

    "And their corpses will be on the main street of the great city that is in a spiritual sense called Sod′om and Egypt, where their Lord was also executed on the stake."

    1 Kings 19:10b - Jerusalem

    "for the people of Israel have forsaken your covenant, your altars they have torn down, and your prophets they have killed with the sword, and I am the only one left. Now they are seeking to take my life away."

    Nehemiah 9:26 - Jerusalem

    "However, they became disobedient and rebelled against you+ and turned their back on your Law. They killed your prophets who warned them so as to bring them back to you, and they committed acts of great disrespect"

    Matthew 23:37 - Jerusalem

    "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the killer of the prophets and stoner of those sent to her"

    There are more, but you get the point.

    The Great City

    Jeremiah 22:8 - Jerusalem

    “‘And many nations will pass by this city and say to one another: “Why did Jehovah do this to this great city?â€￾

    Revelation 18:21 - Babylon the Great

    "And a strong angel lifted up a stone like a great millstone and hurled it into the sea, saying: “Thus with a swift pitch will Babylon the great city be hurled down, and she will never be found again."

    Side note: didn't Jesus make this same reference to a millstone in regards to the pharisees?

    Revelation 16:19a - Babylon the Great (or is that wrong?)

    "The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell;"

    Lamentations 1:1 - Jerusalem

    ESV rendering:

    "How lonely sits the city that was full of people! How like a widow has she become, she who was great among the nations! She who was a princess among the provinces has become a slave."

    Side note: Hmm .. a widow eh?

    Revelation 14:8 (KJV), check interlinear here - Babylon the Great

    "And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication."

    More to come ...

    I think you have done an excellent job here of bringing in some scriptures that indeed do support your initial idea.

    To be honest, I have been working on this for quite some years now, and have so much information I don't know precisely where to start. These scriptures give a solid foundation in supporting your idea, the question is, how far back do we go to 'put the scriptures together' as you say?

    We could start with Abel and Cain, the opposing seeds which Jehovah foretold would occur at Gen 3:15., since you did use the scripture regarding Abel and the righteous blood.

    I defer to your judgement on how best you choose to frame this post, since you did start it, and to be quite frank, I don't know where to begin as this will encompass such a large amount of historical events, and at the same time uniting the prophecy together with events is a monumental task. Hope you know what you're getting into. Not that I'm trying to dissuade you. Jehovah willing, then let it be so...

    Honestly Christo, if this is debunked by the end, I'm A-OK with that :)

    I have ~3 more sub-headings to cover, let's see how that turns out before we get into the history / esoteric / conspiracy stuff.

    (gotta go to the meeting though, so I'll have to finish up later tonight)

    Babylon The Great's identity:

    The first four beasts of Dan 7 correlate with two different time periods. Number one in that of the immense image of Nebuchadnezzar's dream representing Babylon/Medo-Persia/Greece/Rome. (Dan 2:31) The other of current world powers and entities today. We understand the fourth beast of Nebuchadnezzar's dream to represent Rome and presented as the 6th king of Rev 17:10 that existed at the time of its writing, and through history that 6th king progresses into an Anglo-American world power making up the seventh kingdom. This seventh kingdom is represented in that fourth "fearsome" beast of Dan 7 along with it's ten horns.

    Now the battle between North and South rages on for millenia and we can trace their actions through Dan 11 all the way down to our day. As we pick up their history just before the second world war we see them both joined together in a union in that of the Anglo-American dual power in that fourth beast of Dan 7. One being the oligarchical rule behind the scene centered in London and the South represented by the democratic form of government. No better example then that of the British government with a queen behind the scene but a democratic front. We also know that the three beasts of Dan 7 also are representative of world powers today because we see them combined in that beast out of the sea in Rev 13. Notice that the fourth beast is not pictured in that combined beast, and as well only seven heads.

    Now, there is a small horn seen coming from the fourth beast of Dan 7. There's no doubt this horn is the UN. Without getting to much into why, briefly the UN is the catalyst for the king of the North to establish a NWO. The beast itself had already contained ten horns itself and well represented this Anglo-American conglomeration and as well the ten horns in the form of the League of Nations. Now when this small horn came to be in the late stages of the second world war the three horns that fell from before it were Germany/Japan/Italy each being one of the "first" or founding members of that League.

    Now, the death stroke to the seventh head of the first beast in Rev 13 is the blow the North took in the second world war and the oligarchy rule. If it were not for the Anglo-American loan to the British that 7th head would not have survived after the second world war. Again that first beast in Rev 13 has seven heads, not eight. It comes from the sea, not the abyss. The eighth king comes from the abyss. Now let's look at that event.

    In the time of the end the king of the North will come against the king of the south. (Dan 11:40) The result of that will be the destruction of that 7th king and the fourth beast of Dan 7; “I kept on beholding at that time because of the sound of the grandiose words that the horn was speaking; I kept on beholding until the beast was killed and its body was destroyed and it was given to the burning fire." (Dan 7:11) That fourth beast is killed, body destroyed and given to the burning fire. There is no coming back from that, that's the second death. Now the horn is well alive when this happens because it's speaking grandiose words before the beast is killed, therefore there is no way that the eighth king comes about after the fall of the Anglo-American system of things because that small horn exists well before the beast from which it comes from is killed. In fact in verse twelve we see that this beast, and the seventh king of Rev 17 is killed only 450 days before the end of all nations on earth completely. Then out of that death of the 7th king comes the 8th king from out of the abyss in Rev 17! The two beasts of Rev 13 and the beast in Rev 17 are all obviously separate entities coming from different sources in that of the sea, earth and abyss and can be explained through chronology. If there is a single paradox in chronology then the understanding is incorrect.

    The second beast of Rev 13 is the missing beast from Dan 7. It is that Anglo-American dual power. It is the result of that death stroke to the first beast and brings to life that American, British conglomerate which then brings forth fire from heaven in the sight of the UN when it drops two atomic weapons on Japan ending the second world war. (Rev 13:13) It creates an image of the first beast, in that of the actual location of the UN in New York, for before that the UN had no actual visual location. Financed of course by the North and those elitist looking forward to their NWO and the end of the democratic rule.

    Okay, now let's address Dan 8;

    The great battle between the ram and the he-goat. What we are going to determine here is does this vision have a modern day fulfillment? Let's look;

    "And he proceeded to say to me: “Understand, O son of man, that the vision is for the time of [the] end." (Dan 8:17b)

    So the visions in the 8th chapter pertain to the time of the end according to verse 17. So without a doubt the vision of the ram and he-goat carry a dual prophecy in that of their original completion in that war between Medo-Persia and that of Greece however, just as the angel Gabriel tells Daniel, this vision is also meant for the "time of the end". In what way and how are we to determine how this vision gives us information of the time of the end? Let's look;

    In our studies into Dan 7 we come to realize that the second chapter of Daniel and it's immense image becomes a map in understanding the beasts in chapter 7. We have a clear understanding of who the first beast in that of the lion represents, and as well that fourth beast, but how about the other two? Well Dan 8 will help us with that. Using our immense image in chapter 2 as a ruler we can determine who this ram and he-goat is representative of in the time of the end.

    “The ram that you saw possessing the two horns [stands for] the kings of Me′di·a and Persia." (Dan 8:20)

    "And the hairy he-goat [stands for] the king of Greece;" (Dan 8:21)

    “And after you there will rise another kingdom inferior to you; and another kingdom, a third one, of copper, that will rule over the whole earth.." (Dan 2:39)

    "And, see there! another beast, a second one, it being like a bear. And on one side it was raised up, and there were three ribs in its mouth between its teeth; and this is what they were saying to it, ‘Get up, eat much flesh.’" (Dan 7:5)

    “After this I kept on beholding, and, see there! another [beast],one like a leopard, but it had four wings of a flying creature on its back. And the beast had four heads, and there was given to it rulership indeed." (Dan 7:6)

    So there we have it, we understand that the ram represents the second beast of Dan 7 and that of the bear, and the he-goat represents the third of the leopard. Briefly what we are about to show moving on here is that in fact the 8th chapter of Daniel is describing the first world war and that of the League of Nations. Let's get right into it;

    This battle is that of the age old battle between North and South. Chapter 11 of Dan is really a complete history of these battles. So let's pull from it this battle between the ram and he-goat;

    “And he will arouse his power and his heart against the king of the south with a great military force; and the king of the south, for his part, will excite himself for the war with an exceedingly great and mighty military force. And he will not stand, because they will scheme out against him schemes. And the very ones eating his delicacies will bring his breakdown.“And as for his military force, it will be flooded away, and many will certainly fall down slain. “And as regards these two kings, their heart will be inclined to doing what is bad, and at one table a lie is what they will keep speaking. But nothing will succeed, because [the] end is yet for the time appointed. “And he will go back to his land with a great amount of goods, and his heart will be against the holy covenant. And he will act effectively and certainly go back to his land." (Dan 11:25-28)

    Now as to these two kings identities in the time of the end;

    "When I raised my eyes, then I saw, and, look! a ram standing before the watercourse, and it had two horns. And the two horns were tall, but the one was taller than the other, and the taller was the one that came up afterward. I saw the ram making thrusts to the west and to the north and to the south, and no wild beasts kept standing before it, and there was no one doing any delivering out of its hand. And it did according to its will, and it put on great airs." (Dan 8:3,4)

    Now who in the first world war represents these two horns? None other then the German-Austria/Hungary Central Powers and that of the North. The second being taller that came after was of course Germany being just a few years younger then its partner. Now quickly on to that he-goat;

    "And I, for my part, kept on considering, and, look! there was a male of the goats coming from the sunset upon the surface of the whole earth, and it was not touching the earth. And as regards the he-goat, there was a conspicuous horn between its eyes." (Dan 8:5)

    Here we have the Allies in that of the South, the French, Brits, Russia. That not touching the earth? No doubt the first use of airplanes in warfare!

    Now, how do we know that this vision is meant to represent WWI in the common era? Well let's take a look. Seen between its eyes is a conspicuous horn, not one understanding ambiguous sayings but conspicuous. In fact we know this horn is before the small horn that comes from the fourth beast of Dan 7 for look;

    "And the male of the goats, for its part, put on great airs to an extreme; but as soon as it became mighty, the great horn was broken, and there proceeded to come up conspicuously four instead of it, toward the four winds of the heavens." (Dan 8:8)

    That horn was broken as soon as it became mighty and there proceeded to come up four instead of it toward the four winds! Remember Dan 7 and those four beasts from the four winds? Yep!

    “I happened to be beholding in my visions during the night, and, see there! the four winds of the heavens were stirring up the vast sea. And four huge beasts were coming up out of the sea, each one being different from the others." (Dan 7:2)

    So we are made to understand that the 7th chapter of Dan in chronology actually comes after chapter 8! That horn that was between the eyes of the he-goat was the conglomeration of the king of the south in the Allie powers that defeat the ram in that of the Central Powers. But once that occurs the horn is broken and the four beasts come from the four winds in Daniel 7, it is not till then that a small horn is seen coming from one of those four. Look here;

    "And out of one of them there came forth another horn, a small one, and it kept getting very much greater toward the south and toward the sunrising and toward the Decoration." (Dan 8:9)

    "I kept on considering the horns, and, look! another horn, a small one," (Dan 7:8)

    These two horns are of course the same entity because we know both are said coming against gods people and removing the constant feature.

    So according to scripture who can we determine is to be represented by the bear and leopard of Dan 7? The allies being that of the leopard and it's four heads and wings and the Axis being that of the bear coming into WWII. Those three ribs in the mouth of the bear? They are the king of the North and those three Axis members of Germany/Italy/Japan. Those are the very three horns that fall before the small horn that comes up from the fourth beast. Those three horns originally being part of that conspicuous horn in Chapter 8, or first king!

    Babylon and the lion? Oh, Babylon The Great is most definitely alive today, the Holy See...

    I'm ok with it as well, however I think the scriptures you supplied give ample evidence that Jerusalem and BTG are strongly linked. I'll wait for your sub-headings before continuing on. Looking forward to it.

    Actually, I doubt, and will provide solid reasoning in future posts. For now, the UN is a tool of the horn, not THE horn itself. However not yet, as I am deferring to SingleCells judgement on how to move this post forward since he started it.

    I appreciate your enthusiasm for sure, but this topic could fall under a different post. Was trying to find how you were tying your post together with SingleCells initial proposition, and didn't see anything in yours that did so. Just trying to keep it from getting all cluttered up is all. I'll leave it to you...

    The four beasts of Dan 7 are clear representations of earthly governments in connection with the immense image in Dan 2, as well as mentioned they clearly have their fulfillment in Rev 13 as well. The immense image in Daniel 2 with Babylon being the head, is the same entity as the lion in Dan 7, the lion in Rev 13. Dan 7, 8 will help you understand the identity of Babylon into the reign of the 7th kingdom. And what of the fourth beast in Dan 7? It contains ten horns, clearly these horns are to denote other nations within a combined conglomeration with this main beast.

    Now, a small horn is seen coming in among them. What are some features of this horn we can discern from scripture? Dan 8:24 describes this entity like this; "And his power must become mighty, but not by his own power." So this government will become mighty but not by it's own power, so it will need to use another countries army, money, what have you. In the verse just before we read that this entity also understands ambiguous sayings. Basically saying that it puts itself in a place of bringing peace to the earth, peace keepers deceiving the world with it's charter while those behind the scene want for world dominance.

    Now we see from Rev 17 another description of the beast in Rev 13, it describes it as it is, not how it's about to be. If you notice it describes the beast just as it is in 13 however, it says it is "about" to ascend out of the abyss and at that point it becomes the eighth king. So Rev 17 ties us back to Rev 13 and Rev 13 ties us back to the small horn from the fourth beast for that is the entity that will come against the holy people and constant feature. That is how to identify Babylon and the small horn. Babylon is the lion in Rev 13 and only one nation in the collection of nations of that beast.

    So we're looking for a government that sprang from the 7th world power of Anglo-America that does not have any power of it's own. It must be an entity that boasts and talks itself up as a savior of the world and peace keeper. Since in Dan 11 we see this entity coming from the king of the North it must be an oligarchical government bent on ruling the entire world. We would most likely see elitist and those who favor one world government funding it's construction and supporting its role. A ready institution that can take over sovereignty for many nations that would collapse from any number of reasons at once.

    Back to Babylon,

    "He was calling out loudly, and this is what he was saying: “CHOP the tree down, and cut off its boughs. SHAKE off its foliage, and scatter its fruitage. Let the beast flee from under it, and the birds from its boughs." (Dan 4:14)

    "Let its heart be changed from that of mankind, and let the heart of a beast be given to it." (Dan 4:16)

    "his very hair grew long just like eagles’ [feathers]" (Dan 4:33)

    ------------------------

    "and it had the wings of an eagle. I kept on beholding until its wings were plucked out" (Dan 7:4)

    "and was made to stand up on two feet just like a man, and there was given to it the heart of a man." (Dan 7:4)

    So quite simply we have a representation of Babylon and how Jehovah humbled Nebuchadnezzar and the result was a man that finally knew the most high was ruler. Lifted up from the earth from being as an animal, and given the heart of a man back after having a heart of an animal, and walk as a man and not as an animal anymore...

    Scripture doesn't need us, it explains itself. This first beast in that of the lion is the head of the immense image in Dan 2 and represents Babylon. The beasts in Dan 7 are an exact copy of the immense image in Dan 2. Dan 7 & 8 identify these entities down through the 7th king.

    The reason the scarlet colored beast turns on Babylon is because it is a part of itself. Babylon is the lion of Rev 13 and the part the rest of the beast turns on in Rev 17.

    Queen

    Revelation 18:7 - Babylon the Great

    "To the extent that she glorified herself and lived in shameless luxury, to that extent give her torment and mourning. For she keeps saying in her heart: ‘I sit as queen, and I am not a widow, and I will never see mourning.’"

    Isaiah 47:5 - Babylon (ancient)

    Sit there silently and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chal·de′ans; No more will they call you Queen of Kingdoms.

    Side note: RNWT renders this mistress, with an asterisk for Queen

    Ezekiel 16:13 - Jerusalem

    "You kept adorning yourself with gold and silver, and your clothing was fine linen, costly material, and an embroidered garment. Fine flour, honey, and oil were what you ate, and you grew to be extremely beautiful, and you became fit to be a queen.’"

    Lamentations 1:1 - Jerusalem

    (NIV)

    "How deserted lies the city, once so full of people! How like a widow is she, who once was great among the nations! She who was queen among the provinces [nations] has now become a slave."

    Widow

    Revelation 18:7 -Babylon the Great (re-used)

    "To the extent that she glorified herself and lived in shameless luxury, to that extent give her torment and mourning. For she keeps saying in her heart: ‘I sit as queen, and I am not a widow, and I will never see mourning.’"

    Isaiah 47:8-10 - Babylon (ancient)

    "Now hear this, O lover of pleasure,

    Who sits in security, who says in her heart: “I am the one, and there is no one else.

    I will not become a widow. I will never know the loss of children.â€￾

    But these two things will come upon you suddenly, in one day:

    Loss of children and widowhood.
    In full measure they will come upon you.

    Because of your many sorceries and all your powerful spells.

    You trusted in your wickedness. You said: “No one sees me.â€￾ Your wisdom and knowledge are what led you astray,
    And you say in your heart: “I am the one, and there is no one else.â€￾

    Isaiah 54:4 - Jerusalem

    Do not be afraid, for you will not be put to shame; And do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disappointed. For you will forget the shame of your youth, And the disgrace of your widowhood you will remember no more.

    Side note: correct me if I'm wrong, but this whole chapter seems like a future moment between the Israel of God [sons of the kingdom] - just noting that natural Israel was in 'widowhood' [this part shaky, since I'm inferring transition from natural -> spiritual Israel]

    A Penchant for the Precious

    Revelation 17:4 - Babylon the Great

    "The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and she was adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, and she had in her hand a golden cup that was full of disgusting things and the unclean things of her sexual immorality."

    Revelation 18:16 - Babylon the Great

    ‘Too bad, too bad, the great city, clothed with fine linen, purple, and scarlet and richly adorned with gold ornaments, precious stones, and pearls, because in one hour such great riches have been devastated!’

    Jeremiah 4:30 - Jerusalem

    Now that you are devastated, what will you do?
    You used to clothe yourself with scarlet, To deck yourself with gold ornaments,
    And to enlarge your eyes with black paint. But it is in vain that you beautified yourself,
    For those lusting after you have rejected you; They are now seeking to take your life. (hmm, just realized the connection here)

    Ezekiel 16:17-18 - Jerusalem

    You also took your beautiful jewelry made from the gold and silver that I had given to you and you made for yourself male images and prostituted yourself with them.
    And you took your embroidered garments and covered them, and you offered them my oil and my incense.

    Ezekiel 16:13 - Jerusalem

    You kept adorning yourself with gold and silver, and your clothing was fine linen, costly material, and an embroidered garment. Fine flour, honey, and oil were what you ate, and you grew to be extremely beautiful,+ and you became fit to be a queen.’â€￾

    Sorcery

    Revelation 18:23b - Babylon the Great

    "for your merchants were the top-ranking men of the earth, and by your spiritistic practices [sorceries] all the nations were misled."

    Isaiah 47:12 - Babylon (ancient)

    Go ahead, then, with your spells and your many sorceries,
    With which you have toiled from your youth. Perhaps you may be able to benefit;
    Perhaps you may strike people with awe.

    Isaiah 57:3-4 - Israel

    But as for you, come closer,
    You sons of a sorceress,
    You children of an adulterer and a prostitute
    : 4 Whom are you making fun of?
    Against whom do you open your mouth wide and stick out your tongue? Are you not the children of transgression, The children of deceit,

    Sudden Destruction

    Revelation 18:10 - Babylon the Great

    "they will stand at a distance because of their fear of her torment and say: ‘Too bad, too bad, you great city,+ Babylon you strong city, because in one hour your judgment has arrived!’"

    Revelation 18:17 - Babylon the Great

    "because in one hour such great riches have been devastated!’"

    Isaiah 47:9 - Babylon (ancient)

    "But these two things will come upon you suddenly, in one day: Loss of children and widowhood. In full measure they will come upon you Because of your many sorceries and all your powerful spells."

    Jeremiah 4:20 - Jerusalem

    Disaster after disaster has been reported, For the whole land has been destroyed.
    Suddenly my own tents are destroyed, In a moment my tent cloths.
