I find this discussion amazing, as I too see a link with Israel, only by similar research which I have done. But when it comes to fitting it to scripture I'm not that good. But I personally think Babylon The Great is being re-formed before our very eyes. I don't think she is single religious entity but an amalgamation of the main three, which is Catholicism, Judaism and Islam. Something unique happened in June, for the first time in the history of the church, the head of the Islamic faith said a prayer from the vatican. The multi faith meeting was to discuss peace and security through uniting as a one religious order. We also know that the catholic church wants complete control of the temple mount.
Zionism, along with the Jesuit order are some of the most powerful people behind the scenes.

1. Because those who will continue to practice Christianity will be killed.

2. Because even though it is a religious entity it is also backed by the one world government. The UN recieves it's spiritual information from the Lucis trust, who is also behind this one world religion.

3. It will not just be a three branch religious system they will also take aspects of other religions but no major religion will be prominent. Sorry I don't understand the part about Jehovahs people.

The great apostasy is Christianity as a whole abandoning the Bible and returning to it's former Babylonian false religious practices. Thats why it says, the tribulation or armageddon will not come before this major event takes place. It will be accepted because the world will be in so much religious turmoil, this will be their cry for peace and security, which will put an end to religious wars once and for all, and the Catholic church will be the first to abandon Christianity and the rest will follow suit.

THE GREAT DECEPTION:

This will be a powerful delusion to the world, but also a major stumbling to Jehovah's people, this will more than likely tie in with the hour of test which is coming upon the whole world.
This is when satan will use his trump card once and for all mainly on Jehovah's people, because they have been taught that..

1. Jehovah puts it into the minds of the political powers to ban religion

2. Followed by the great tribulation.

Satan will get in there first and make it seem as if religion will be banned, only to see that it's replaced by this one world religious power. This is where Jehovahs people will be confused and betrayed, they will think that they have been lied to, some may understand, others may just go along with paying allegiance than to loose their life.
This will be the ultimate test as to whether they receive the mark of the beast.
Jehovah will then put it into the minds to turn on this religious power and when they attack the righteous, Jehovah will act on their behalf.

From what I have read over the years from the UN, the Lucis Trust and the World Council Of Churches, this is their plan. Plus it was mentioned by a Doctor who attended a seminar back in 1969 on population control, and the changes they were planning to introduce in the next 30-40 years. He said religion will not be recognised, it will exist but Christianity will go, and all the churches will be in agreement, he said it will be easy and the catholic church will lead the way. He said and anyone who refused to obey and carried on their religion in privacy would be killed, they would not be like martyrs, but they will be seen as the trouble makers not wanting to go along with peace. He said those who paid allegiance will get rewarded and have access to jobs and food etc..When I heard this it tied in with the book of Revelations.
I hope for Jehovah's people sake that I'm wrong, but I don't think so. This would also tie in with "who really is the faithful and discreet slave to distribute food at the proper time?" Jesus would return to see his sheep in disarray and confusion, for not being fed spiritual food and direction. This would be where we will come in to hopefully help them identify the disgusting thing before it is finally establised in the Holy Place.

 

Something else I wanted to point out, here is another first for this Jesuit pope, is that he visited the Pentecostal church. This is all tying in with the religious unification which will be witnessed by the world. It makes the pope look like he has the best intentions for religious unity across all faiths gaining the trust of the masses.
