    re Teddy Bear

We are so pragmatic, to the point of cruel,
Our personal perceptions do not over- rule,
That others have their feelings and we don't understand,
Where those feelings came from, they're not at our command
Strange as it may seem, it might have been a need,

For some to throw your memory.
    That you had wrong perceived.
It won't have been in cruelty If you care to ask.
It may have been a higher source, to which you were held fast.

    You may even find,
    That you now have recourse.
    To re-create your soul,
To move on past the source.
Of all you thought was safe; yet found it was not so.

Living in the present and held onto the past
And held onto a grief. You never thought would last.
Throwing out the childhood, becoming all you can.
You can rise above this, and prove you are a man.

    King David and King Solomon
    Led merry, merry lives,
    With many, many, lady friends
    And many, many, wives;
But when old age crept over them,
    With many, many qualms,
    King Solomon wrote the Proverbs
And King David wrote the Psalms.

    HIGHWAYS

Colossians 3:16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly
as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through
psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God
    with gratitude in your hearts.

    HighWays

I was lost before I found you . Now I'm rambling on

that path again . The one with you on it . It is one of

my favorite passages . I can step out here and weave

the delicate threads of all the components that are

parts of you . Examining all the little bits of you that

tickle me so those smiles move across my features

and this warmth spreads itself throughout my being .

It is a well traveled road and I take excursions here

frequently one of the many treks I enjoy . Here I can

look at you from every angle , explore and feast my

thoughts around you. I can move over every square

inch that I can see or have seen . It's such a pleasure

and fills all the empty places. So pleasant . Even

when you are not here , I can turn my thoughts in

a mere moment and you are present with me . I

always feel better after I have these voyages where

I walk in view of you .

Over the years I've accumulated all these little

treasures about you I've stored here. The ones I

can take out , turn over and gaze upon happily ,

every little facet of you . Truly my treasury is full

and I take you out into the open spaces where

I can walk among them . Sometimes I think you

might be aware you live here , but surely you are

not aware of how often I visit you here. And when

I get to see you in person I probably won't remember

even to tell you about them. But when I'm not with

you , I want you to know that you are with me and

I need to have you here on these journeys . I have

more than a few of these trails , well worn and

easy to follow . You probably didn't know that so I

thought I'd tell you here in a place you can come

and visit and be reminded about a path that leads

you home where you can find comfort . I've written

it because the spoken word slips away and is for-

gotten so easily but the written word you can

reach for and open frequently so you can remember

how I feel about you when you are feeling Lost .

You can come here and make your own treasury of

all of those you HOLD DEAR and how they will

put a smile on your face and fill your heart with

the soft steady gentle leading of Love .

    NOTIONS

His childhood ship..... had paper sails
with chopstick masts..... and toothpick rails
kite string rigging..... and popsicle oars
on cedar shingle..... drifted pond shores

He dreamt adventures..... and drank in their tales
lives of the sailors.... of a squalls betrayals
of a ships captain..... and galleon seamen
of the cabin boys..... and the prisoned freemen

Love tales of Mermaids..... and of the monsoons
stories of Mariners..... and those of harpoons
of tidal Pool creatures..... in black shore lagoons
and of mighty whales..... beneath the Typhoons

He ate the tales..... like a noontime meal
of the courageous ..... and their hearts of steel
the drawing up nets..... with the greatest catch
of living a life ..... none other could match

Visit the Mangroves ..... where crustaceans hide
fingerling catfish ..... and mudskippers slide
of all the stories..... which regaled the oceans
of the things he dreamt..... and childhood notions

of shipping cargo's..... by seas and by lands
of a nations trades ..... and feeding demands
of dynasties built..... and the monies made
of conquering worlds ..... his planning was laid

Of the ports and docks..... were the galleons lashed
of the levies he paid ..... and the checks were cashed
The dreams of the boys ..... who grow into men
of life's realities ..... that bring men to sin

He would fight pirates ..... and the seas buccaneers
kill with a sword blade ..... and wrangle his fears
He molded his life ..... like castles in sand
not knowing how much ..... of his heart they demand

Of the ruthless men ..... who govern the seas
who held not to laws ..... but did as they please
broken was childhood ..... the nobility of dreams
His character was lost..... in material things

    COLLATIONS

Spent time enough...... upon this road

to know the things....... I think are gold

don't give a hoot......... bout wealth or fame

if you're famous ......... and made a name

My life's simple........... have my own dreams

my own pursuits......... and my own leans

but these are those ...... that let me see

what lies in you.......... your own beauty

I understand............... what you've been through

though life's unique..... but similar too

you own your joy......... as I do mine

its ups and downs....... the unsublime

I've experienced life..... and all it's dirt

our ecstasies.............. of all our hurt

foolish man said......... I crossed the line

I wasn't worth............ his thought or time

Forgive me now......... should I not see

all the meaning .......... your life needs be

sometimes I'm bound in my own thought

to remember............. what life has taught

That I glory .............. in what is you

individuality .............. it's what we do

I've shed my tears....... and held your hand

same under stars........ the same earth stand

    JUDGEMENT DAY

    I watch the tumbling waters
    and ever present ocean spray
upon the land sons and daughters
lift their hands in praise to pray

The earth is once again renewed
all things that harm are gone
all those who walk in Love conclude
they are where they all belong

In the zenith of the day
    with skill their talents seek
gifts in men do show the way
    the inheritance of the meek

The earth it’s riches freely gives
and the wolves dwell with the sheep
    together calves and lion lives
    no violence shall living keep

Gods love the face of nature shape
within exists no breathing thing to fear
those who do Gods war escape
will no more be shedding tear

A thousand years will Jesus reign
    before Lucifer is released
imprisoned was he in Jah’s chain
for the keeping of the peace

And lead he will the final war
    along with those deceived
from fire of God he’ll exist no more
    and those who him believed

What is truth to finite man
who know within short time to stand
all know they live within the fall
and eternity imprinted upon us all

A child shall die an hundred years old
and the sinner will not escape
as all mankind is now God’s fold
and our choice will our future shape

    BENEATH THE SURFACE

Have you swam the forests............ under the seas
    glided it's waters ............ wandered it's keys
watched the gray giants ............ and albino squid
attached to kelp leaves ............ sharks eggs were hid

Clouded by algae ............ just being born
followed the whales ............ rounding Cape Horn
watching up rivers ............ salmon schools run
fur seals cartwheeling ............ under the sun

soft twinning corals ............ swaying like trees
waving their branches ............ as if in breeze
Fingers of hydra ............ grasping their meals
under sea ferns ............ unrolling their reels

the cuddlefish hug ............ the limbs of it's mate
a new generation ............ they're about to create
wondering wherever ............ your wonder has gone
wondering how species ............ can gender our song

a manatee grazes ............ upon the sea grass
beneath the boats ............ ocean swarms underpass
in every color ............ every rainbow and hue
daily inquiry ............ into what do they do

so graceful like ............ ballerinas they play
wandering it's reaches ............ by night and day
the nudibranches ............ scaling their hills
Lobsters saluting ............ and razorfish drills

swimming the whirlpools ............ with shapely tails
jackass penguins ............ and jellies with sails
predict the movements ............ of the Blue whales
picture the angels ............ sacheting their trails

shimmering glitters ............ sparkling the sands
finwalkers walking ............ as if they had hands
    leatherback babies............ skimming the tides
upon water fountains ............ the sea urchin's slides

a red emperor............ ruling the the strays
roving the shoals............ edging the bays
basket stars wrapping ............ themselves in embrace
the straights and fjords ............ where sea otters race

pipefishes drifting ............ the eels in their caves
upon the reef floors ............ fish dancing their raves
shoveling and building ............ with undersea tools
the Jacks and Jills ............ swimming to schools

tubeworms array ............ upon hot water vents
    where clownfish play............ anemone tents
surfing the currents............ and ocean spray
moving so swiftly ............ they're off and away

composed of armies ............ marching the streams
sea mountain passages ............ and sub...marine dreams
within the reef beds............ creches do sleep
in seaweed meadows............ lives in the deep

Marlins found herding ............ sardines and smelt
it's all the playground ............ sea lives have been dealt
life's exhibition ............ an endless parade
so many wonders ............ radiantly displayed

    Psalm 8

4 What is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
5 You have made them a little lower than the angels]
and crowned them with glory and honor.
    6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet:
    7 all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
8 the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
    9 YHWH , our Lord,

    LIMITED EDITION

A thousand years..... was just yesterday
in fifty will you have learned what matters most
You appear unable to obey the simplest laws
you have been gently led by and been whispered their truths

.......... you were gifted with the ability to reason
.......... you were gifted with mercy
.......... you were gifted with compassion
.......... you were granted forgiveness of sins , errors , failings

Around you is a cosmos in a procession of infinite order
The earth is drenched in the the richest
abundance of every thing that is desirable
    every rooms canvas brilliantly adorned
constructed to fill you with joy and appreciation
every excellence woven into their creations
you were designed to master life
and created to comprehend it's secrets

.......... But you take and you steal
.......... destroy , every answer to what
.......... you desire is loaded with violence
.......... you stretch out your arms with
.......... intent , not to build each other
.......... but to insult their life
.......... your own brother , mother , sister , father

You have boundaries , and they ARE fixed
you can defy your design but it will inflict much pain
you obey gravity to avoid it's damage but neglect virtue
.......... innumerable talents were showered on you

yet every clay tablet , papyrus , scroll ,
    document , book , history , writing
fully demonstrates the easy road to corruption
whose maw is full and overflowing
and the weapons of warfare now
cover the very surface of what was
    ............. a paradise
while you slice , dice , chop
your way through your family of humanity
    and if that isn't enough
you shoot , bomb , burn , poison
    children , mothers , family
and leave a wake of destruction
so much easier to burn that pinch
    of incense to POWER
than to face keeping your integrity
to life , and not to submit
your support to the roads of death .

    CHARISMA

And those that were wise spoke among themselves
They took note of the darkness
spoke of things past and things yet future
    they collected the news
the times and the seasons of men
they watched carefully for the time
    to fulfill what was foretold
and yet it was not the time
but only a little time did each possess
What will they do with this time
but few living at the time found the Lord's Glories
he was one who lived "in the trenches"
not just fighting poverty but "poverty in spirit"
he not only touched them but he loved them
It's difficult to take my eyes off him
the depth of his beauty of soul
draws me like the herds to water
as I seek to saturate myself
    with the looking at him
and the wisdom of his words
Choice words here about all that dogma
if you are missing just this one thing
it doesn't even hit close to the excellence
manifest in his nature, and I want
to explain it , clearly so
    we among ourselves can understand
Where among men can you find such loyalty
no one can even purchase the like of it
nor has anyone been so completely
committed to the benefit of others
You don't hear it said often about those here
"He was incorruptible" , irreproachable , thoroughly just
without prejudice , and could aptly expound on the "wisdom of the ages"
yes in the trenches "not killing people trenches" for war
but where those who needed him could find him
I have been searching for the "like of him"
I have covered every quadrant looking for his fullness
bits and pieces , bits and pieces
and not even I with all that I have known
can display such expanse of attributes
so wholly desirable , that all the disputes of dogma
    are drowned in his essences
so clear is the vision of him
and transparent his motives and activity
why would anyone exchange this pattern
    for something far less valuable?
I want to slate my thirst and be saturated
bathed in the love of him
I want to commit it's energy into all my cells
and yet the circumference of it's vastness
exhausts me . I can only look upon the glory
of such a person and be mesmerized
by the shear depth of his exquisiteness
of whom I could never be worthy

to look upon such an incorruptible nature

    1John 4:20 ESV
If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

just some of the more simple thoughts

    CHILDREN

    All my precious little gems
how in my heart you shine
you were all a gift from God
that I could love all time

    In the natural order
you’d have been home with me
    but the system works against
    all the ties of family

    Before I worked the System
to myself I had you all
my heart has long remained there
before the system I did fall

    I read you Hiawatha
    by the fireplace at night
beside the book of bible stories
    to give your minds insight

    answered questions and we counted
    pinto beans and popsicle sticks
had friends with lots of children
    and a social life betwixted

pleasant were the nights and days
I could hug and boo boo’s kiss
but upon the eve of workdays
it was silence that I wished

    Problems had grown to mountains
the obstacles to peace that last
there was no place that I could turn
    for understanding could I ask

I would have shown you the cosmos
    and the patterns of Mandelbrot
    watched the meteors when passing
and the lakes where the rains do drop

    Would’ve climbed every mountain path
    and into the canyons walked
    a magnifying glass to plants
    of life’s mysteries have talked

    You have excelled my expectations
    your resiliency do I astound
your minds and hearts have exceeded
of course and problems turned around

    SLIDE RULE

Be drift the moon across cloudless sky
to shine it’s light upon the cloudy I
beneath her gaze my darkened days
where time has slowed and doesn’t quickly fly

And crowded are the days in lonely thought
considering those I know untimely bought
thoughts take course in their own remorse
upon those which time and chance has caught

But spendthrift my joy within this time
recalling laughter spent I bring to mind
like vesture wear the things we’ad share
that in the future will be left behind

Stretch forth my hand to things from past
and forward move beyond dies cast
remembering the years forgetting all the tears
throwing fears away with courage to standfast

Bring back the soft happiness on the morrow
and take away the grey grief and sorrow
work me a happy tune play melodious soon
for the joys tween times of grief we borrow

    ENDURING PROMISE

    You are tender

    and heart

    ....... does easy bruise

    kind and thoughfTul

    unlike those

    ....... who easy use

    with understanding

    overlooking

    ....... frailties

    and have provided

    promises

    ....... which ever please

    how gently

    ......... you embraced me

    and with your mantle

    ......... draped

took me in and knew me

    where your love

    ......... in me was shaped

    left me with your token

    a seal set

    ......... upon my heart

    it bespeaks your promise

    in loyalty ne’er

    ......... to depart

my list says this one isn't on here , but I really don't want to
go thru every page for a third time to check ...

    DIVINE CALLING

Beneath celestial heavens do I kneel
with crystalline gaze I look above
and to eternal glory I appeal
that be not denied divinely love

As our earthly home upon its axis
how can without love ones course be true
and the life we’re given that it taxes
so the colors of our lives within renew

A chance the wine of joy within the chalice
and smiles like those of angels do bestow
happiness bedecks our hearts just like a palace
the brightness in the eyes that ever glow

As night draws to day and its decree
this the only thing the pinnacle grand
and minds probing all with curiosity
to make bearable the life which in we stand

to that course forever and not to deviate
its purity rules universe and law
the testing of our metal and not its fate
where daily upon its strength we do draw

As myriad upon myriad of history shown
where shadows cast within our minds its doubt
and love its apex and wonders ever known
how children show us what that loves about

With stalwart hearts a man and maid
the beauty of the heavens share
become one and stand in shade
    and life’s passions together wear

Oh divine thing and wondrous fair
that shines as bright as sun and star
how fallen from divinity so near
and its place of dwelling seems so far

Can’st thou within our hearts so clone
    upon mankind its welcoming embrace
that dwellest it within our earthly home
and of its fragile mortality replace

    Hi POP

Thought that was a beautiful picture of the pinwheel galaxy. I also clicked on the link to the picture of the cat paw nebula. :)
