This is another of my favorite Horse Songs.
It’s sad to say but, they are killing all the wild horses
that used to run through the sagebrush and canyons.
    Not bothering anyone. Running Free.

    ( Late 1964 ) :)

    Uno, dos
    One, two, tres, quatro

    Hey! Wolly Bully

    Watch it, now watch it.
Here it comes, here it comes

Watch it, now You gettin’ it

Matty told Hatty about a thing she saw
Had two big horns and a wooly jaw
    Wooly bully, wooly bully
    Yeah, right
Wooly bully, wooly bully, wooly bully

Hatty told Matty: "Let's don't take no chance
Let's not be L-seven, come and learn to dance."
    Wooly bully, wooly bully
Wooly bully, wooly bully, wooly bully
Watch it now, watch it, watch it

    Yeah . . . . . .

    (Instrumental bridge )

Matty told Hatty: "That's the thing to do
Get you someone really to pull the wool with you."
    Wooly bully, wooly bully
Wooly bully, wooly bully, wooly bully
Watch it, now watch it. Here it comes.
You got it You got it

    "To Comfort You"

You've been down in the dumps
    it seems like forever.
Now, what have they done to you?
Not a single thing's turned out
    the way you imagined.
It all looks unreachable to you.

You don't know for the life of you
    what is missing,
or why it always happens to you.
    And you don't like yourself,
    you feel nobody's listening.
    You don't need another platitude.

    For a moment you forget
and a smile comes to your face.
Aah, but it doesn't last too long.
It's like a string you got tied
    around your finger
    reminding you of
    everything that's wrong.

I won't try to say I know what you're feeling.
I won't try to second guess you.
I won't try to give advice you won't be needing.
I'm only here to comfort you.
I'm only here to comfort you.

And I'd love to be the reason
a smile comes to your face,
even if it doesn't last too long.
And I'd love to take that string
you've got tied around your finger
reminding you of everything that's wrong.

I won't try to say I know what you're feeling.
I won't try to second guess you.
I won't try to give advice you won't be needing.
I'm only here to comfort you.
I'm only here to comfort you.

I'm only here to comfort you.

On February 3, 1959, on what has become known as "The Day the Music Died", Valens died in a plane crash in Iowa, an accident that also claimed the lives of fellow musicians Buddy Holly and J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson, as well as pilot Roger Peterson. In 2001, Valens was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A simple coin toss that Waylon Jennings lost, saved his life.

Keep an eye out for this talented young lady, Claire Crosby.

I wonder if she is related to Bing Crosby!

    Gregg Allman - These Days

    "These Days"

    Well I've been out walking
I don't do that much talking these days
These days, these days I seem to think a lot
About the things I forgot to do, for you
And all the times I had a chance to

    Well I've had a lover
I don't think I'll risk another these days
These days, these days I seem to be afraid
Live the life that I've made in song
But it's just that I have been losing, so long

These days I sit on the corner stone
Count the time in quarter tones of ten, my friend
And now I believe I want to see myself again

These days I sit on the corner stone
Count the time in quarter tones till ten, my friend
Please don't confront me with my failure
    I'm aware of them

TURN! TURN! TURN! (Lyrics) - THE BYRDS

Ahhh, The good old days. I’ve had the blessings from Jehovah, to live long enough to experience many forms of music. ( Gen 1:19 ) It started with a small radio in my grandmother’s house, listening to Country-Western, then WWII jazz, Opera, Irish, Classical, Folk, Rock, etc, etc, etc. Right now I’m watching and listening to Fleetwood Mac on PBS ( Public Broadcasting Network ). I’ve learned to love Mozart, Chopin, Rossini, Verdi, Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Handel, etc. My friend Eddy and I used to sneak into his brothers record collection, and play them. These led me to Heavy Metal, the modern day Classical music.

Thanks for the post of Harry. I forgot how wonderful his voice is, along with the talent. I would want to be assured that I could fly like that. :)And, I know that Jehovah knows that I’m afraid of heights!! So, I won’t be going to heaven. I like the earth. Hopefully I’ll be assigned to helping to restore it, as it was originally designed to be.

Here's one that is still appropriate for today.

    Crazy Train · Ozzy Osbourne

    "Crazy Train"

    [Daisley - Osbourne - Rhoads]

    All aboard! Hahaha

    [Instrumental]

    I, I, I, I... [fade]

    [Instrumental]

Crazy, but that's how it goes
Millions of people living as foes
    Maybe. It's not too late
To learn how to love, and forget how to hate

    Mental wounds not healing
    Life's a bitter shame
I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train
I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train

    I've listened to preachers,
    I've listened to fools
    I've watched all the dropouts
    Who make their own rules
One person conditioned to rule and control
The media sells it and you live the role

    Mental wounds still screaming
    Driving me insane
I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train
I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train

I know that things are going wrong for me
You gotta listen to my words, yeah, yeah

    [Instrumental]

    Heirs of a cold war
    That's what we've become
    Inheriting troubles
    I'm mentally numb
    Crazy, I just cannot bear
I'm living with something that just isn't fair

    Mental wounds not healing
    Who and what's to blame
I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train
I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train
