This video discusses the year of the flood. I would appreciate everyone's commentary on what is presented here...

I have already seen these videos. About how long was Israel in Egypt, my concern was about how 70 people who entered in the land could have generate the million of people who flew from Egypt 215 years later? Is it possible in so little time?

Thanks AJ, This is a fantastic video. Absolutely!!:D I tried to add all the births in Genesis and gave up. I'm not a math person. I will be sharing this with many people. The only problem I have with it, is the graphics of the ark.:p It was not designed as an ocean liner. It was like a shoe box. It was not designed to go anywhere. It had no form of propulsion. It was only made to float.

    We have the dimensions... [IMG]

Brother, the first video discusses growth rate of birth as approximately 3.8%. You have an issue of the number of people before Babel as well, unless you add the 650 years of Noah's children before giving birth.

These videos give compelling arguments... That's what it's all about; finding that idea that could further our understanding...

I believe the Sphinx could be older then the flood. Was the great pyramid? It could be; but, wish the casing stones were still in place.

If there is one thing Archaeology knows and understands, don't count out the Bibles Chronology...

I would say; that picture of an ark is close to accurate. I say “close” because we really don’t know. The only things we have are dimensions in the bible. ( Gen 6:14-16 ) It is not likely that any of the ark will ever be found. Any of the wood that was left, was likely used for other construction over the thousands of years.

Here is one thing that I have learned in my years of study. Don’t trust what man says! If anything, question it all. Ancient dating by man is guess work. Archaeology is based on the “idea” of carbon dating. Based in the faulty “idea” that the carbon atom decays at a specific rate, that so-called “scientist’s” at the University of Chicago, and the University of California, Berkeley. It is all based on theory. That word could easily be Guess, because that is what it is. https://www.etymonline.com/search?q=theory
I have copies of the original submitted papers that were used for the theory.

Then, there is the “theory” of geologic time, which is also guess work. All of the pyramids and the Sphinx in Egypt are not pre-flood. Why? Depending on where you live; look around. The effects of the flood are all around you. Of course that is if you know what to look for. Take a look at the Grand Canyon. How about the Rocky Mountains, the Sierra’s, Yosemite, the Andes, Kilimanjaro, etc.

The pyramids were developed in Babylon, after the flood. ( Gen 11:1-9 ) And, every other pyramid came from the tribes and family groups that were scattered throughout the earth. There is a whole story that can be shown; how and why they are located in very specific spots, in other countries on earth.

Recently, I watched some programs on the “History Channel” titled “Ancient Aliens”. Several of these, in my mind, all were based on myths. They were quite interesting as I will provide some of the information, and its connection to the Bible. There are many people who claim that the Bible is a myth. Here is where the problem lies. Just what is meant by the word “myth”? I can say that these “many people” don’t have an accurate understanding of the word myth. Let’s go there. The word myth is:

    myth (n.)
1830, from French mythe (1818) and directly from Modern Latin mythus, from Greek mythos “speech, thought, word, discourse, conversation; story, saga, tale, myth, anything delivered by word of mouth,” a word of unknown origin. Beekes finds it “quite possibly Pre-Greek.”

Myths are “stories about divine beings, generally arranged in a coherent system; they are revered as true and sacred; they are endorsed by rulers and priests; and closely linked to religion. Once this link is broken, and the actors in the story are not regarded as gods but as human heroes, giants or fairies, it is no longer a myth but a folktale. Where the central actor is divine but the story is trivial ... the result is religious legend, not myth.” [J. Simpson & S. Roud, “Dictionary of English Folklore,” Oxford, 2000, p.254]

General sense of “untrue story, rumor, imaginary or fictitious object or individual” is from 1840.
https://www.etymonline.com/search?q=myth This is the most common belief of the word myth.

Here is what I say is the “kicker” of belief in ancient aliens.
Those who believe in ancient aliens, do not believe in the angels mentioned in the Bible. They believe those to be myths. Ancient aliens = Angels! HELLO!! “Is there anybody out there? Just nod if you can hear me! :p :D

( From the History Channel ) Interesting!!

The interesting thing that most people don’t recognize is; there are ziggurats similar to the one started in Babylon, in other countries, and continents. There are temple ziggurats in Mexico, Iraq, Mesopotamia, Iran, Egypt, South America, Myanmar (Burma), Cambodia, Indonesia, and Spain. So, where did that idea come from? Babble - On. There is also one located in Cahokia, Illinois called Monk’s Mound. Google it. It is from what is called the Mississippian culture era.
