Hi all Paradise Cafe discussion board is closing. Its origins was after the original Timothy Kline board in the 1990s and before the original E-Watchman board. "Resolute", a faithful administrator there died recently. A bit of history has drawn to a close in my original search for truth when I was a Jehovah's Witness. Concentrating the communities here would probably be good. If King alone has thousands of subscribers on his channel I don't see why we can't have a few hundred brothers and sisters on this forum.
I remember the Paradise Cafe, and Resolute. I was an original member. In fact I remember Timothy Kline, there was also Omar Fernandez and his forum. So many different forums back in the 90s. Few exist today. I had a forum for about 10 years, then it was hacked and deleted and I just closed it down. I think the only one left is the jw discussion forum. Those were the good old days. But unfortunately social media has pretty much put an end to such forums. While they exist, not many are active. Not many looking for Truth, they just want their ears tickled. RR
Yep, back in the early days of the online forums. You'll find that pretty much everyone here was also from those past boards. In fact this forum was started in early 2013 after the closure of the e-watchman forum. And many of us 'old timers' switched over here at that time. I am proud to say I am blessed to have continued fellowship with friends like brother Kline and others. I have a feeling this forum will endure, if by Jehovah’s will...
