7 Days Let me begin by saying that I know and understand that there may be questions to what I present here. I encourage all to reply with those differences of understandings one may have. This is how we grow and learn from each other. My responsibilities before Jehovah are sharing what He gives me through our Lord Christ Jesus, and I encourage everyone to engage in this same way in this discussion. I may be corrected by you in some way, just as I hope you learn through me. With that said, let me present to you what our Lord has given me. The first chapter of Genesis is a narrative framework for the entire collection of inspired works, the entirety of the Bible itself. The creation days are a framework to understand not only the terminology used throughout the prophetic works it is also designed to tell us exactly when God's kingdom is to come. As I move forward in this thread, I will be presenting you with evidence that the creation days are not Intended to relate to literal days of the formation of this physical universe and earth, but rather I will be showing you how the creation days represent each thousand-year period in the last six thousand years. The creation days are prophecies spanning six-thousand years and define the terms used throughout scripture, in order to understand events to come. As I present supporting texts, please understand I only pick one or two, while there are literally hundreds in some cases that verify what I present here. And no doubt, as you read along, many will come to your mind that I don't even mention. Please include them in response, and join in the discussion. Let me start by pointing out why I use the dates I have for each thousand-year period. God rested on the seventh day, and that was after the creation of Eve, not Adam. Therefore we want to know the year Eve was created in order to understand the narrative timeline within the creation account. I believe that there is ample circumstantial evidence to indicate all throughout scripture that Adam was in fact forty years old when Eve was brought to him. In order to save space within this thread, I won't include that subject here; however, I wish to highlight that point so that you may understand why I use the dates I do as I move forward. Using a creation date for Adam as 4004 BCE, we add forty years until Eve and come to 3964 BCE. I will be using this date as our starting point as we move into this important subject. Not only does each creation day discuss the main events within each thousand-year period, but they also line up with the dates for each individual within. Each creation day spanning 1000 years is in accord with God's Word. Adam was told he would "die in that day," just as he died at the age of 930 years. "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” Gen 2:17 The day of the Lord is to be a thousand years. "The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord." Acts 2:20 "They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years." Rev 20:4 As a day to our Lord in prophecy is a thousand years. "With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day." 2Pt 3:8 "A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night." Psm 90:4 All love... Joshua
In The Beginning "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Gen 1:1a I want to start by saying that the "beginning" in Gen 1:1 of the "heavens and earth" is not the physical ones, but rather correspond with the founding of the world when not only our Lord was chosen, but also those of the elect. The beginning of the "heavens and the earth" were after the fall of mankind and was foreseen in the first prophecy of Genesis 3:15. "He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you." 1Pt 1:20 (ESV) "Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him." Eph 1:4 (ESV) This first line of the Bible served well as a quick overview of events that would shortly transpire; however, it has also served just as well to highlight that our Lord had indeed created all things in this universe (likely) billions of years ago. However, our Lord was "chosen before the founding of this world," marking and identifying the beginning spoken of in conjunction with the Word. So then, when were He and the elect chosen? They were chosen after sin entered the world and before the births of Cain and Able; the founding of the world. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Jhn 1:1 ------- Now as we move into the second part of Genesis 1:1 we see the earth was formless and dark. "Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters." Gen 1:1b Formless - tohu = chaos (1), confusion (1), desolation (1), emptiness (1), empty space (1), formless (2), futile (2), futile things (1), meaningless (2), meaningless arguments (1), nothing (2), waste (3), waste place (2). What we see here is the state of mankind after their fall. This ideology of darkness and emptiness is carried on throughout all the biblical text for sin and separation from our God and Father. "I looked on the earth, and behold, it was without form and void; and to the heavens, and they had no light. I looked on the mountains, and behold, they were quaking, and all the hills moved to and fro. I looked, and behold, there was no man, and all the birds of the air had fled. I looked, and behold, the fruitful land was a desert, and all its cities were laid in ruins before the LORD, before his fierce anger." For thus says the LORD, “The whole land shall be a desolation; yet I will not make a full end. “For this the earth shall mourn, and the heavens above be dark; for I have spoken; I have purposed; I have not relented, nor will I turn back.” Jer 4:23-28 Indeed mankind had entered into the void at their casting out from Eden and the shining glory of God, out into the darkness. "Then they will look to the earth, and behold, distress and darkness, the gloom of anguish; and they will be driven away into darkness." Ish 8:22 "But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Mth 8:12
Day 1 - 3964-2963 BCE / Sin - Noah The first day begins with sin "And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day." Gen 1:3-5 After the fall of mankind to sin, the Word was chosen to bring light to the world. "Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Jhn 8:12 "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all." 1Jhn 1:5 The Word is the light shining in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it, just as God separated the light from the darkness in the first creation day. "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." Jhn 1:5 Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior was chosen in the beginning as He presented Himself on our behalf as the means by which we would be saved and darkness crushed forever. "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” Gen 3:15 That is love...
Day 2 - 2964-1963 BCE / Noah - Abraham The second day from Noah to Abraham "And God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so. And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day." Gen 1:6-8 Every indication up until this point is that the spirit realm dwelt with mankind. It is only at this point in the second creation day do we see the formation of the expanse of heaven. God walked about within the garden, just as the satan before his deception. Just as those angels that had sinned when dwelling among mankind taking wives. This is the moment heaven is created in the biblical narrative as God causes a separation between the waters of above from the waters below when calling this separation heaven. As God had determined to destroy the world of that time, He was to now separate the spiritual realm from the physical, no longer allowing the two realms to coexist. Firstly throughout the inspired texts, water is used to denote those on earth and in heaven. "Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages." Rev 17:15 "Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies." Psm 148:4 "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more." Rev 21:1 So then, "heaven" was created only in the necessity to separate the spiritual realm from the physical. Spirit creatures would no longer walk among mankind once God brought a deluge upon the world. There was now a separation of waters above and below through Noah's flood. "In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month—on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened. And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights." Gen 7:11 So why are the present heavens stored up for fire as well as earth? Because one day, there will no longer be a separation between the spiritual realm and mankind. Rivers of healing waters will flow once again from the heavens unto mankind. No longer will there be a separation of the waters below and the waters above in God's kingdom. "By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly." 2Pt 3:7 "Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb." Rev 22:1
Day 3 - 1964-963 BCE / Abraham to David The third day from Abraham to David "And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good. Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day." Gen 1:9-13 During this third day, the Lord gathered His people together unto Jerusalem, at mount Zion. However, first His people must pass through the Red Sea as God splits the waters, causing "dry ground to appear". This Red Sea narrative is used all throughout scripture to denote Jehovah gathering His people together, saving them from their enemies. "Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left." Ex 14:21:22 The Hebrews had an unfortunate history in serving God, making Jerusalem and Zion a land spiritually dry and desolate indeed. Many times throughout the biblical narrative, Jerusalem is described as desolation and dry wilderness land. (Mth 23:38) However, it is promised that this dry land will one day be betrothed to her bridegroom, the branch of David. "For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. The nations will see your vindication, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow. You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God. No longer will they call you Deserted." Isa 62:1-4 Of course, the "seas" of this third creation day are in tumult as Israel is weighed down by sin and falters from our Lord's grace. "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea." Luk 21:25 However, through all this sin and turmoil, many faithful would sprout and grow in faith unto Jehovah God, just as vegetation grows and bears its fruit. "Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit." Mth 12:33 "They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads." Rev 9:4 "But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned." Heb 6:8 Thankfully many faithful were written into the book of life during this third day from Abraham to David, gathering His people unto Him.
Day 4 - 964-34 CE / David - Christ Jesus The fourth day and the temple period "And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day." Gen 1:14-19 When Christ Jesus fulfilled the High Priest role by offering His blood on our behalf before Jehovah, He opened the way unto heaven for the priests that serve within the Holy Place. These would rule with Christ as He promised at the Passover before His sacrifice and mentioned in the fourth creation day. Those who will rule with Christ did indeed perform many signs among the people. "The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people." Acts 5:12 Those who rule with Christ will harvest in due season. "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." Gal 6:9 (ESV) Just as at Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the one hundred and twenty in the upper room, these give light on the earth when they preach the Gospel of our Lord Christ Jesus, He being the great light among mankind, and they the lessor. "They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them." Acts 2:3 "Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles." Acts 2:43 Just as in like manner, the two witnesses serve as the two lampstands and two olive trees feeding the light of the Word to all the world. "These are the two who are anointed to serve the Lord of all the earth.” Zech 4:14 These priests who will rule with Christ within the kingdom will indeed rule over the light and darkness, day and night, as they serve in "separating" those who will go onto everlasting life or everlasting cutting off. "Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt." Dan 12:2 "He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous." Mth 5:45 ------- From the time of our Lord to the restoration of all things would now be two more days. "After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence." Hos 6:2
Day 5 - 35-1034 CE / Jesus - Christianity The fifth day and the New Covenant era "And God said, “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.” So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day." Gen 1:20-23 "Living creatures" begin swarming as the gospel is spread throughout the earth. The message of God's kingdom goes out unto the Gentiles, who become "living creatures" indeed as they begin to swarm in all the sea of mankind. "You have made people like the fish in the sea, like the sea creatures that have no ruler." Hab 1:14 "Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” Rev 5:13 The first four trumpets of Revelation disperse Jerusalem and Israel, as the faithful sea creatures are tried by fire just as gold is refined. (Rev 3:18) "The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed." Rev 8:8,9 "And I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, four horns!" Zech 1:18 "These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no one raised his head." Zech 1:21 In the time of the end, during our Lord's parousia, His people, all creatures on the land, sea, and sky, will tremble at His presence. "In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. The fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence." Eze 38:19,20 ------- There are different types of life forces. Just as Paul discusses the birds and animals having their own flesh, so in like manner do heavenly and earthly bodies just as described in the fifth day and all creatures according to their kind. "Not all flesh is the same: People have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another. There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another." 1Cor 15:39,40
Day 6 - 1035-2035 - The Final Kingdom Day six and the promised kingdom "Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Gen 1:26,27 Ending the sixth day, our Lord will gather His elect from the four corners of the earth and raise them in His likeness as angels. They are to rule over the earthly kingdom and the living creatures within for a thousand years. "And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens." Mrk 13:27 He will also return mankind to ruling the earth in His image just as Adam and Eve were initially created; to assist and help all life grow and prosper, just as our Lord showed us what ruling in the image of God entailed. "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Gen 1:28 Once again, all of God's creation from people to beast shall return to vegetation for sustenance. "Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so." Gen 1:29,30 "The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain,” Ish 65:25 And God saw that it was good, ending the sixth day. "And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day." Gen 1:31
Day 7 - 2035-3035 God's Kingdom "And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation." Gen 2:2,3 Blessed are all those who enter the rest in the day of our Lord! "For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience." Heb 4: 8-10 If you've read my book The Final Kingdom, you will know that 2035 is the only time within this century the holidays yet to be fulfilled line up with the chronology of Daniel. So the question I am asking myself is, "Do I believe we will see the little horn boasting about bringing peace to mankind on December 28th, 2028 beginning the time of the end?" And the conclusion I come to is this: The answer is not my own. The answer doesn't lie with me; our Lord must answer it. (Jhn 5:31) All love...
As I move forward in this post, I will be going back through the creation days to include corresponding texts as I recognize them. I encourage all reading to do the same. "And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” Gen 1:9 On the third day, the "dry land appearing" also includes the promised land itself. "Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. For to you and your descendants, I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham." Gen 26:3 Hence why the waters of the people are gathered together into the promised land.
It's astonishing when the biblical narrative is opened up and our eyes can see. Everything then starts to make sense. It's crazy to think that heaven was only created at the flood in order to bring about separation between the spirit realm and mankind. Hence why the current heavens are stored up for fire as well, because one day that separation will no longer exist. The current heavens will no longer exist in the new kingdom when there is no longer any separation between man and God when a new promise land/earth comes down from God. "Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” a for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God." Rev 21:3
So that's why we belong to the day! God called the light day and the darkness night at the first creation day. "So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate and the hope of salvation as a helmet." 1Th 5:6,7 Christ Jesus is the light of this world as mentioned above brought about on Day 1, and we belong to Christ, to the day, rather than the darkness of sin and death. "And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day." Gen 1:3-5 -------- Hence why Jesus doesn't come as a thief to those awake! "But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness." 1Th 5:4,5
Okay, I'm going to revisit the fourth day. 964-34 CE / David - Christ Jesus During this fourth day spanning from the first temple period to Jesus and the New Covenant, was a time of light coming upon the earth. It appears through the mention that it was so and it was good, there are two separate time periods discussed in this day. In the first part of this day, Daniel served to provide light of insight. "There is a man in thy kingdom in whom is the spirit of the holy gods: and, in the days of thy father, light, and understanding, and wisdom -- as the wisdom of the gods -- was found in him; and king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, chief of the scribes, enchanters, Chaldeans, soothsayers, established him -- thy father, O king." Dan 5:11 (YLT) This light from Daniel provided insight in the darkness of this world. "He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him." Dan 2:22 "The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple." Psm 119:130 Given to Daniel was light of understanding, to bring knowledge of hidden matters. And part of that light was the knowledge of times and seasons, days and years mentioned in the fourth day. "As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but their lives were prolonged for a season and a time." Dan 7:12 (ESV) "The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time." Dan 7:25 "From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days." Dan 12:11,12 "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” Gen 1:14 ------- In the second part of the fourth day, we see two great lights God makes to rule over the day and lessor by night. Our Lord was the light from the beginning, bringing understanding to His people just as the lampstand in the Holy Place that lighted the way for the priests. "Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.” Jhn 12:35 "And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars." Gen1 The women of the first prophecy in Gen 3:15 is the women in Rev 12 and the means by which Jehovah brings about His will. She is is clothed in these two great lights. "A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head." Rev12 Through the light of Daniel and the times, seasons, days, and years, God shows us that it is through the woman in Rev 12 these lights are convocated. All things are in their own time and set by God. The woman is set by God's timetable through the lunar-solar calendar and set through the seasons of holidays fulfilled through Christ. Jesus fulfilled the spring holidays, the feasts that served to bring about the fulfillment of prophecy. "Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, Appointed seasons of Jehovah, which ye proclaim, holy convocations, are these: they are My appointed seasons:" Lev 23:2 (YLT) The woman gives birth to the male child in Jesus, as the crown of stars on her head brings about the new covenant of priests to rule. God gave these luminaries the woman is wrapped in through our Lord and the priests as heavenly convocations in their seasons. The woman will be delivered to the bridegroom through these days and years given by Daniel and made real in Christ, in their appointed time.
It never made any sense why Adam was created before any bush on the land or plants in the field. The main reasoning I had always heard was that God was speaking of man cultivating the ground. But that never made sense because God clearly gave trees for food within the garden. Rather, the reason there was no bush or plant of the fiend when Adam was created was Adam was created before the third day. "When no bush of the field was yet in the land and no small plant of the field had yet sprung up—for the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the land, and there was no man to work the ground, and a mist was going up from the land and was watering the whole face of the ground— then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature." Gen 2:5-7 "And out of the ground the LORD God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil." Gen 2:9
Peter's vision of the sheet coming down from heaven with all the animals declared clean corresponds with the fourth and fifth creation days as the Gospel goes out unto all the nations. "I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance, I saw a vision. I saw something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to where I was. I looked into it and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles, and birds. Then I heard a voice telling me, ‘Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.’" Acts 11:5-7
The rest is still yet future... "So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him. In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” Jhn 5:17
At one time, Adam was born of Spirit. "Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being." Gen 2:7 This birth of Adam from the Spirit is used by our Lord to show how we must be born again through the Spirit and water, just as the passing of the ark through both the flood and the Jordan River, and Adam's birth. "Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You c must be born again.’ Jhn 3:5-7 This is why Jesus admonished the elders of His day because they should have understood these connections. "You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things?" Jhn 3:10 So this is why the creatures coming to life through the fifth day are depicted as "living." They are passing through the waters and being made alive in the Spirit. "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” Gen 4:10 "But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness." Rom 8:10
When God made light on the first day to separate the day from night He was separating the good from evil Adam and Eve had brought into the world. And this through the Word.
Wow....you really taking a leap here, good for you. As I mentioned in previous posts I think it's wonderful when someone digs deep into the scriptures to find new meanings within. When they find a gem it certainly is most rewarding to them, that they took the diligence to search for what God put there, and with the help of his Holy Spirit were able to grasp it. You, sir, are not only digging deep, but starting a whole new hole to dig. Takes guts to throw that out like you have and so I commend you for that. I will be honest and to the point here. There is so much you are putting out it is overwhelming, just to be honest. Just trying to grasp what you are presenting is a challenge in that it goes completely contrary to what everyone else believes, including me. Not that I don't think playing devils advocate is necessarily an excellent way to find the weak points in an argument, which it seems you are asking us to do, but to delve into a brand new way of looking at creation expends a great deal of energy and thought. And to be quite frank, I'm not sure I'm up for that task as the end is getting so near, and I feel there are more important things to focus my energy on right now than redrawing the creation map, so to speak. I do understand your desire, and deep craving, to know the deep things of God. It's quite apparent in your thought process that you have laid out in your posts. And it does help when others who share that same desire inflect on your musings some other alternatives with which to ponder over. But I feel that you need to elaborate on this a little to make it more clearly defined as to what you are trying to achieve. I need to understand if I'm reading your perspective correctly. You feel that there are two meanings to the days of creation, starting from the beginning. The first perspective is the one that everybody holds regarding the creative days already, that they were obviously longer than an actual day, and that the order given to us is the order in which God created the physical universe and all within. The second perspective is the one you are presenting in that, not only do the days represent the time period of creation, but also convey, or allude to a secondary prophetic timeline that will help us to understand when the last day is. Is this correct? Essentially you are trying to find a parallel between the physical creative days, and a hidden symbolic meaning that runs within the creative days. Thats a tough one simply for the fact that the evidence you provide is mostly 40 days, not years. It is only speculation. Adam was perfect, so 40 days to name all the animals seems enough to me to be honest. Also long enough to realize that all the animals had male and female, and he didn't. Surely that must have crossed his mind. Also, why not 7 years instead of 40? An argument can easily be made that he was 7 years old when Eve was created. I honestly don't see how you can reconcile the two together. The beginning of the heavens and earth AND the first prophecy introducing the woman and her seed. Are you suggesting this was a 'new' beginning of the heavens and earth? A new founding? If this is true, according to your thesis, then that would make him at least 4000 years old by the time Eve was created. _____ After reading through I'm fairly certain I understand what you are trying to convey. That there is an elusory theme of prophetic insight woven within the creative narrative that was given to us in Genesis 1. That this theme begins at Gen 3:15, and for each 1000 year period since is a new day.
