I haven't spent any time thinking about this site in quite some time. I've rather spent my time in bible study of things that matter. The last time I came here, joshstone told me that the things I wanted to discuss "didn't matter" to ones salvation. That being the think here, there really is no point in an interchange on this site. What difference does it make to refry the beans here. It doesn't matter to my salvation...! Has anything changed here? I meandered through a bit and I see the same thing as last time. I read posts where it's a purée of nonsense and others commend it. No new direction?
Friend everybody has their place within the body of Christ a few years back I posted many many contreversial questions here and opened threads just to be doing something. Now a days I opened a simple and safe thread from which to serve Jehovah I print the Bible 1 chapter at a time with a picture! I can't get myself in trouble that way! Now please don't take this like I'm calling you a trouble maker! Take a look at what men in the Bible did take a look at how the society and other religions make a column that's not going to get anybody upset! And do it! Don't be like Cain be like jerimiah .
Perhaps you can define your statement? This forum is based on Bible study... Perhaps you could be a little more specific, Jesus makes it very clear what is needed for salvation, a simple belief in him, and a belief that he was risen from the dead. Now if you have a better understanding that more is required for salvation, by all means present that here, because I have no memory of any conversation your speaking of that you and I had in the past, it must not have been of too much consequence. It's easy to sit behind a computer in your own home and make generalizations, why not come out from behind your keyboard and state your argument to scripture presented here, and point out the errors you seem to see in understanding here. Since you see so much "nonsense" surely you can knock us down a notch with your superior understanding, and we would have no response to your scriptural presentations, correct?

Your usual style is to post something controversial and then start beating around the bush with it - what I call "fluffing around" as opposed to getting to the heart of the matter and providing scriptural points upfront. The result of this approach is that, forum members react to your approach and respond back. They do that because you provoke them. The next phase is that you then become upset with the forum members: "you're picking on me, you're picking on me. I'm being misunderstood. I didn't say that." A phrase that I use often with clients is this: Behaviour has consequences. And behaviour has consequences on this forum, too. You stir with a big spoon, figuratively speaking. In Australia, we've got a name for that, It's uncouth in nature and it's not appropriate for me to post it on the forum. I didn't have to look up your posts from the past to come to the above conclusions - I've been blessed with an almost photographic memory and I can remember your posting style very clearly. I imagine that the next response to this post will be: "Oh WF, you've got it all wrong." I don't think so. What qualifies me to write a post like this? I've worked with male clients for many years and there was a reason why I was assigned to some, not all, of those male clients. (Work with some female clients, too.) When I read your post here, I recognised the style of speech and the behaviour right away. It mirrors the behaviours that some, not all, of the male clients show. I don't need a crystal ball to come to that conclusion. I draw those skills from experience in the real world. I've worked with people for years and I've been around for a while. I do not want to see any signs of arrogant behaviour on this forum. "My God, you should just see me at the assemblies, WF. My friends just flock to be around me and to be in my company." I do not want to see any statements like that or that reflect that sentiment. In the past, my usual approach to that sort of statement, was to post the music video of Mac Davis singing "Oh Lord, it's hard to be humble, when you're perfect in every way."
Hi Apo, Josh has the right to think what ever he wants about certain subjects and to express his thoughts about them freely. It doesn't mean that the ones you broach here won't be of interest to others. The same goes for each and everyone of us here on this board, whether said opinion is negative or positive being irrelevant..... Please, don't take things too personally. Put things in perspective and detach yourself from whatever may stand in the way of your faith in a God of peace having control over his faithful and earnest servants. You may have some personal issues to tame at times and certainly a certain amount of legitimate bitterness to vent but please, don't think that we are enemies and that disagreeing with you is one of our most enjoyed hobbies. You're still a full-fledged member of this forum so far, aren't you ? So please... fire away !

You are really a sad person. I noticed that not one person has a thing to say about the Watchtower's secret affiliation with the United Nations. A few views on that post, but not one single person has the Christian spine to say a word. NADA. And you.... you call me a "Satanist"... you are sad indeed. My Lord is Jesus. I worship the same God He worshipped, His Father in heaven... my Father. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. His name is unknown. If He wanted it known, He would have given it to us clearly. Watchtower itself confesses that the English term "Jehovah" is not the proper name for the Almighty God. In fact, there is far more weight for it to be "Yahweh" then to be "Jehovah". This is clear in the Watchtower's own writings. They must confess it. But you REFUSE to confess this truth that even the lying Watchtower MUST confess. And you point such a broad finger of hate at others for confessing the truth that you deny.
If I'm talking about Paris, everybody knows I mean the capital of France. I'm native Dutch, so in Dutch we call it Parijs. The same with other places. Eg Lille in France is called Rijsel in Dutch. Everybody in my language area knows when I mention Rijsel, I mean the French city of Lille. The same with the name of God. Indeed we don't know how His name was pronounced in the original language. But when we talk about Jehovah or Jahweh, everybody knows we mean the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Why do you say that His name is not important. The Bible is full of references where the almighty God is sanctifying his great name. Or as Jesus said he made Gods name known: Just 1 of many examples: John 17:26: I have made your name known to them and will make it known, so that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in union with them.”
Apocalypse: the copies of the letters from the UN regarding the NGO issue were posted approximately 2 months ago. You claim to be a Great Researcher - how far back did you go on this site? How extensive was your research? I will reiterate some points about forum behaviour. No manipulative behaviour No arrogance No berating or abusive speech I don't buy this idea that you have, that it is your God-given assignment to "rock this house" because that's what Jesus did. You seem to act as if this gives you some kind of licence to ride rough-shod over other forum members. Jesus rocked the house of the Pharisees. Here on this forum, we have brothers and sisters in a "cyber" congregation. Your story about "Oh, I'm following Jesus' example, I'm rocking the house, Jesus said I could." will not wash with me, I'm afraid. When you come to this forum, I will expect you to speak with a civil tongue and to address the brothers/sisters in a respectful manner.
