The lion in Dan 7:4 is the healed condition of Babylon/heaven high tree of Dan 4. Notice the next sequence of scriptures I will present. First you will see the description of Nebuchadnezzar in Dan 4 in black, then you will see the healed condition of Babylon in Dan 7:4 in blue; Dan 4:33"his hair grew long just like eagles feathers and his nails were like birds claws." (Dan 7:4 The first one was like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle. I watched until its wings were plucked out,) Dan 4:24 "your dwelling will be with the beasts of the field," (and it was lifted up from the earth and was made to stand up on two feet like a man,) Dan 4:6 "Let its heart be changed from that of a human, and let it be given the heart of a beast," (and it was given the heart of a man.") Ultimately we have reason to believe that these scriptures pertain to all of Babel itself. If we compare the scriptures and accounts of the fall of the tree in Dan 4 with the description of Babel in Gen 11, we will see a striking similarity. Dan 4:11 "The tree grew and became strong, and its top reached the heavens, and it was visible to the ends of the whole earth." Gen 11:4 Come! Let us build a city for ourselves and a tower with its top in the heavens," Dan 4:12 "Beneath it the beasts of the field would seek shade, and on its branches the birds of the heavens would dwell, and all creatures would feed from it." (To remain in one place, a single city under one rule and religion) Gen 11:4b "and let us make a celebrated name for ourselves, so that we will not be scattered over the entire face of the earth." Gen 11:7,8 "Come! Let us go down there and confuse their language in order that they may not understand one anothers language." So Jehovah scattered them from there over the entire face of the earth, and they gradually left off building the city." Dan 4:14:13 "As I viewed the visions of my head while on my bed, I saw a watcher, a holy one, coming down from the heavens. He called out loudly: Chop down the tree, cut off its branches, shake off its leaves, and scatter its fruit! Let the beasts flee from beneath it, and the birds from its branches." If you read Isiah 14 you will see the idea of Babylon as a throne for Satan, even in his own words in versus 13 & 14!; "You said in your heart, I will ascend to the heavens. Above the stars of God I will lift up my throne, And I will sit down on the mountain of meeting, In the remotest parts of the north. I will go up above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself resemble the Most High." Therefore IMO it would appear that this healing in Dan 7:4 of the lion/Babylon is the healing ultimately of the idea at the tower of Babel, in that of a singular religious/governmental arrangement representing Satan's throne here on earth. If this is the case then these prophecies from Jehovah are designed to inform us when Babylon would appear again on the world stage, after all she is shown alive in the time of the end in Rev 17. Therefore when was it she would have recovered from her beast like state? The prophecy in Dan 4 tells us there will be 7 times that will pass over this lion of Dan 7:4 before it recovers, so therefore one only needs to add 7 times to the time period Jehovah confused the language at the tower of Babel in order to disperse the purpose Satan had intended for his throne there. We know that the tower was built in the time of Peleg, and the earth was divided in his time. (Some believing the "divided" refers to the languages.) So then the most commonly held time for the dispersal of Babel would have been around 2200BCE. When counting 2520 years from that time one reaches 320CE, and it appears this is the year the Old St. Peter's Basilica, Rome, was begun to be built. In the time of the end Jehovah well lift up Babylon the Great and deposit her once again where she came from in the land of Shi'nar where the tower was built, bringing full circle the connection between Babylon the Great and the tower of Babel. Zech 5:11 "He replied: To the land of Shi′nar to build her a house; and when it is prepared, she will be deposited there in her proper place." ("She" being Babylon the Great, and Shi'nar is where the tower of Babel was built.) Zech 5:11 is the proof that the tower of Babel is connected to Babylon the Great in the time of the end! Gen 11:2 "As they traveled eastward, they discovered a valley plain in the land of Shi′nar, and they began dwelling there. Then they said to one another: Come! Let us make bricks and bake them with fire. So they used bricks instead of stone, and bitumen as mortar. They now said: Come! Let us build a city for ourselves and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a celebrated name for ourselves, so that we will not be scattered over the entire face of the earth."
Actually that appears to be it after all! The absolute proof that Babylon the Great is the reborn tower of Babel is that BTG is thrown into the ephah measure and the lead lid thrown over the basket and she is planted "in her proper place" in the land of Shi'nar. (Zech 5) That is at the actual location the tower was built. You see Babylonia was a nation made up of many cities, however Shi'nar was the specific location for the construction of the tower, therefore she is returned to where she originally began! So rather then this being my opinion, it would appear this is exactly what scripture is saying!
It appears Gen 10:10 gives us a more defined understanding of "the land of Shi'nar". Gen 10:10 "The beginning of his kingdom was Ba′bel, E′rech, Ac′cad, and Cal′neh, in the land of Shi′nar." So then the land at least encompassed these cities, including Ba'bel. None the less Zech 5:11 brings full circle the identity of Babylon the Great in the time of the end to the original location of the tower of Ba'bel in Shi'nar. So if BTG is buried in Shi'nar the original location of the tower of Babel, then this means that BTG in Rev is the original Babel. Zech 5:11 "He replied: To the land of Shi′nar to build her a house; and when it is prepared, she will be deposited there in her proper place." Therefore if the "proper location" for BTG's burial is in Shi'nar, then therefore BTG is Babel, and also the lion of Dan 7 and Rev 13. Since BTG is depicted alive in the time of the end, this means the death stroke that is healed to one of the heads in Rev 13 must be BTG, since we have a clear connection to the tower of Babel in Shi'nar in Gen 11, we also have a clear connection to Babylon and Nebuchadnezzar as well. It is clear that the heaven high tree that is chopped down in Dan 4 is directly connected to the lion in Dan 7, and the healed condition of Babylon when its eagle wings are plucked out after Nebs hair grew long like eagle feathers, the heart of man is given it after it had been given a heart of a beast, and made to stand up as a man instead of on all fours like a beast in Dan 4. So therefore it should be understood that this is the moment of the healed death stroke to Babylon. This is the head in Rev 13 that had a healed death stroke, the healed death stroke is from the heaven high tree of Dan 4 when it was cut down but that the roots were left so that the kingdom would be able to grow again. The tree in Dan 4 is Babylon of old or Babel, and then once it is healed it becomes BTG! Now since the scattering of the fruit and the dispersing of the animals under the tree in Dan 4 match the scattering of the people and dispersing of them in Gen 11 that means it is the ideology and the original purpose of the tower in Babel that is reborn in Dan 7 in the lion. So then the 7 times of the tree in Dan 4 is the time period after Jehovah confused the language at the tower of Babel until BTG is reborn.
So what we have here is further clarification of the seven kingdoms of Rev 17:10 as well. "And there are seven kings: Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet arrived;" Many have understood those kingdoms to be those who had influence over Gods chosen people throughout history including Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Media-Persia, Greece, Rome, however this understanding may not be correct. Let's take a closer look at the identifier of BTG; Rev 17:5 "On her forehead was written a name, a mystery: “Babylon the Great, the mother of the prostitutes and of the disgusting things of the earth.†Rev 17:9 "The seven heads mean seven mountains, where the woman sits on top." You see, this harlot is the mother of all prostitutes, meaning all other "women" like herself, other false religious organizations, and where did all of these false religions originate? None other then Babel. The most common understanding claims Egypt as the first head even though the women originates from Babel. The nation of Israel was not developed until after the exodus, and while Gods people were in Egypt, they were also in Babel in the same manner. Given that the Harlot sits on the 7 mountains, and is the mother of harlots, this must mean she comes from her origins to which she will be buried in Zech 5:11, making the 7 mountains world powers of which Babylon had not been after the rise of Egypt. Therefore the sequence of 6 kingdoms as mentioned in Rev 17:10 should read as so; Babel Egypt Assyria Media-Persia Greece Rome I couldn't have said it better myself then what I read here: SOURCE "The view which takes Egypt as the first kingdom is based, in part, on understanding the seven heads as Gentile kingdoms and the context of Revelation Rev. 17:1 as favoring a Jewish/Gentile distinction. Evidence for such an emphasis can be found in the broader context of Revelation, especially chapters Rev. 7:1, 11-12, and 14. It also recognizes the well-documented opposition each of these kingdoms represented to God’s people. But limiting the kingdoms to only those which existed after the calling of Abraham, the father of the Jews, has the weakness of being unable to account for the full history of the Harlot. If it can be shown that she predates the Jewish nation, then upon what head can she be said to have ridden upon prior to Egypt and the events of the Exodus? Taking the first two kingdoms to be Egypt and Assyria does not seem to do full justice to the description of the Harlot who sits on the seven heads which are the seven kings (Rev. Rev. 17:7-10). She is given the name Babylon and is identified as the “mother of harlots and of the abominations of the earth†(Rev. Rev. 17:5+). In order to be the mother of harlots and abominations (which denote spiritual idolatry), she would have to be the source from which her daughter harlots were born. Thus, it seems best to see the Harlot as having ridden upon the Beast, sitting upon its seven heads , throughout history. This would argue for understanding the five fallen kingdoms as stretching back beyond Egypt to the time of the construction of the first major city recorded in Scripture: Babel (Gen. Gen. 11:1-9). Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.†And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. From that land he went to Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah, and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (that [is] the principal city). (Gen. Gen. 10:8-12) [emphasis added] If the kingdom of Babel is taken to be the first kingdom and the five kingdoms span from the time of the tower of Babel through the initial appearance of Rome, the most likely candidates for the second kingdom would be either Egypt or Assyria. Of the two, Egypt had a greater significance as a repressor of God’s people and introducing them to idolatry (Ex. Ex. 32:4; Eze. Eze. 23:2-4). The view that Babel is the first kingdom has the advantage of providing a head for the Harlot to sit upon all the way back to the initial rebellion of mankind manifested by the great city: Babel. Just as impossible was it [as Rome] for the Babylon of Nebuchadnezzar’s day [to be the mother of harlots, Rev. Rev. 17:5]; and for the same reason. It does not date back far enough. We must go further back, and find it in Gen. Gen. 10:8-10 and Gen. 11:9. There we find it in the land of Shinar. Under Nimrod began the work in the spirit of Anti-christ; his object being to build a city, and make for his People a name, so that they might not be scattered. Babylon [Babel] was founded in rebellion against God.6 This would accord with the identification of the Harlot as “that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth†[emphasis added] (Rev. Rev. 17:18). See commentary on Revelation 17:10. See Symbols of Kingdoms."
We have always understood the scripture at Rev 17:10 as John speaking in his time period, and that the "one is" represents Rome, and rightly so; Rev 17:10 "Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet arrived;" Now just a couple scriptures back we read; Rev 17:8 "The wild beast that you saw was, but is not, and yet is about to ascend out of the abyss, and it is to go off into destruction." Why have have we not understood this scripture also as John speaking of his time period? This scripture reads remarkably similar to verse 10 in discussing the past, present and future. If this is the case then that means the death stroke occurred before John's time and as of the point he penciled Revelation it had not yet ascended from the abyss. Verse 11; "And the wild beast that was but is not," It seems quite likely John again here in verse 11 is speaking of his present time when saying "is not", just as in verse 10 when saying "Rome is". Therefore if we want John's words to explain them self, and allow consistency to be the guiding principle, it appears that this understanding completely agrees with chronology and is the correct way to understand the wild beast.
Hi Joshua: Is it possible that there was a fulfillment in John's time and also that there will be another distinct fulfillment in modern times? Frank
That is a very good and valid question, and one I will be exploring next... Have you ever taken an IQ test? When you start the answers can be quite easy, but as you get deeper into the test the answers become much more difficult, this is a bit how scripture feels at times... Good thing I enjoy it so much...lol
I believe I have found the point where scripture no longer offers it's own explanation, and personal interpretation is the only way to proceed further, until future fulfillment of prophecy. First, with the run up to that point; (I'm sorry, this is going to get really complex.) It appears the death stroke of the first beast in Rev 13 is a separate event then that of the coming from the sea. These two events are most likely nearly 2000 years apart. If we stick with the premise that the first head "Babel" was the healed death stroke, then we must also understand that when that death stroke was healed Rome was still the world power and therefore both the first head and the 6th head were on the world stage at the same moment around 320 CE. Therefore this power as a conglomerate could not have been the 7th world power, for the 7th only lasts a short while as seen in Rev 17:10; "he must remain a short while." and it's been nearly 2000 years since that moment. You see, the lion depicted in the first beast must represent BTG and the first head of the seven (Babel), therefore once Babel was healed 2520 years after Jehovah confused the languages at the tower that meant the first head had been reborn and joined itself to the 6th. Therefore the beast had not risen from the sea yet with seven heads. The beast had only six heads still when the healed death stroke came about. Since the 7th head only lasts for a "short while" then the 7th comes around close to the time of the end. Therefore the first beast of Rev 13 must be the moment the 7th king comes to be, centuries after the death stroke was healed of the first head, Babel/Babylon the Great. John clearly says "The wild beast that you saw was, but is not," so the wild beast received the death stroke before Johns time. We must use the same ruler to measure this scripture at Rev 17:8 as we do at Rev 17:10. Rev 17:10 "And there are seven kings: Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet arrived;" Rev 17:8 "The wild beast that you saw was, but is not, and yet is about to ascend out of the abyss," John was speaking of both scriptures as in his day and relevant to his time. Neither the 7th kingdom had arrived yet, nor had the beast ascended out of the abyss, although it had already descended into it, meaning "it was" occurred before John's time. (Rev 17:8) You see, it appears that there are to be two events spoken of as the wild beast of Rev 13 going down and then recovering. There just appears no way around this... During the time of the end the wild beast goes down again. After the 42 months begin, we see at the fifth bowl the beast is removed from it's throne and the abyss is opened in the fifth trumpet, depicting a new birth from a dead state. (Both the trumpets and bowls occur at the same moments.) As per this thread, and this moment, I stick to the understanding that the first death stroke occurred to the first head of the seven in that of Babel in 2200 BCE, and that this is depicted in the tree of Dan 4. Therefore John could say that the wild beast "was not" at his time because those 2520/7 times ended around 320 CE. Now, Dan 11:40 depicts a final battle between north and south bringing about the downfall of this beast again, and I say again because this occurs after the constant feature is removed in verse 31. (And yes Dan 11 is chronologically sound from verses 1-45.) Now let's actually dig into what we are talking about; Gen 11:11 "Come! Let us go down there and confuse their language in order that they may not understand one another’s language.†Dan 4:14 “Chop down the tree, cut off its branches, shake off its leaves, and scatter its fruit! Let the beasts flee from beneath it, and the birds from its branches." These two events depict the same event in that at the tower of Babel in around 2200 BCE. This was the death stroke of the first head of the beast in Rev 13. Then of course 2520 years later the death stroke was healed, after John's time, allowing John to say the beast still "was not" but was "about to ascend out of the abyss". Rev 13:3 "I saw that one of its heads seemed to have been fatally wounded, but its mortal wound had been healed," It was however "about" to ascend out of the abyss, and John could say this because it was only 200 years later that ended the 2520 years in around 320 CE. Now when it ascends out of the abyss, we can only understand this beast as then having only 6 heads at that time. It is interesting that we must determine that when John says this beast will ascend from the abyss it is made up of the previous 6 world powers with Babel as the first being healed and joining itself to Rome. (Iron/Clay) Now again this is not the moment the 7th world power comes to be, that must occur close to the time of the end. (Rev 17:10) Now the second time this beast goes down is deep in the time of the end; Dan 11:40 “In the time of the end the king of the south will engage with him in a pushing, and against him the king of the north will storm with chariots and horsemen and many ships; and he will enter into the lands and sweep through like a flood." Rev 16:10 "The fifth one poured out his bowl on the throne of the wild beast. And its kingdom became darkened," Dan 7:11 “I kept watching at that time because of the sound of the arrogant words that the horn was speaking; I watched until the beast was killed and its body was destroyed and it was given over to be burned in the fire." Now we know this event occurs after the end begins for what we read in each of these chapters. Such as in Daniel 7 we read of the constant feature being removed, court sitting and taking their places, books being opened, all before this beast goes down. Now compare this to the first beast in Rev 13 that has the healed death stroke before the 42 months begin. Obviously two separate events. Now here is the healing of this second event; Rev 17:11 "And the wild beast that was but is not, it is also an eighth king, but it springs from the seven, and it goes off into destruction." So then, the beast goes back into the abyss at some point after the 7th head joins itself to the wild beast. If the wild beast was "about to ascend out of the abyss" in John's day, that had to be shortly after he penciled that scripture, then we read John says when the 7th king arises it only remains a "short while". Therefore the the 7th doesn't arise until shortly before the end. When John says "And the wild beast that was but is not," he is speaking of his time period, but when he says "it is also an eighth king" he is is speaking of a time 2000 years later, just before the time of the end. So that means when John says "it is also an eighth king" that appears to be the moment this beast rises from the abyss after the 7th power had joined it. That means the death stroke, the healing, the 7th power coming to be are all separate instances. Only the second healing is the same moment the wild beast becomes the 8th king. Now through all of this we must keep in mind that the iron/clay remains intact all the way down to the moment Gods kingdom strikes it. Therefore in some form these two entities must be part of the 6th, 7th and 8th kingdoms, and as well the 1st. Well at that point why stop there, it could be said that the first kingdom Babel is part of all of the 7 down through history, she being the mother of all harlots, all of mankinds religious and governmental structure came down from that city. We can see the second healing here; Rev 9:1 "The fifth angel blew his trumpet. And I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to the earth, and the key to the shaft of the abyss was given to him." Then once this occurs the ten horns give their power to the wild beast. Rev 17:12 “The ten horns that you saw mean ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings for one hour with the wild beast. These have one thought, so they give their power and authority to the wild beast." It would appear that they will start their rule with the beast about 4 days prior to the 10 days of great tribulation's beginning. If a thousand years on earth equal a day on earth, then an hour is 15 days and the half hour spoken of after the 7th seal is 7 1/2 days... (Rev 8:1) Now the moment the beast actually does go down, the three other elements rulerships are taken away. (Lion, bear, leopard) Probably because at any given moment the latest entity represents the whole, such as the statue in Dan 2. So that any of the previous metals are still alive within the most recent ruling entity, like lute filtering down through kingdoms. Dan 7:12 "But as for the rest of the beasts, their rulerships were taken away, and their lives were prolonged for a time and a season." Therefore what ever the entity is that makes up the first beast of Rev 13 it has to include the first head Babel/BTG, and as well the 7th world power. Then when it goes down in the time of the end, the other three entities must give up their rulerships, or go down with it as a whole. These again being the bear, leopard, and fierce beast, and it's at that moment this 7th beast becomes the 8th, after the abyss is opened with the key. (Rev 17:11, Rev 9:1) Which ever ruling power exists in time, it contains the remains of all the other elements in the statue within itself, with the women riding on top... Now at the moment of writing this post I believe that this is the point in scripture that it no longer will explain itself in that of identifying the characters involved. That one must use history to make guesses, and that without prophecy beginning to be fulfilled we may not be able to say any further who the 7th king is, who the first or second beast in Rev 13 are. Can I be wrong? Of course, absolutely, and trust me that's not going to stop me from looking, and I hope I am wrong. I would like to say 100% who they are, but if we can't explicitly prove it with scripture, will it ever be fact before its fulfillment? Probably not... There is a little more information about the two beasts in Rev 13 and especially the second that I will post on later, but please feel free to comment on what has been presented here so far... With all love through Christ from Jehovah as always...
Hi Joshua: Would you mind explaining this math for us non-physicist's... "It would appear that they will start their rule with the beast about 4 days prior to the 10 days of great tribulation's beginning. If a thousand years to Jehovah is but a day on earth, then an hour is 14 days and the half hour spoken of after the 7th seal is 7 days..." (Rev 8:1) Frank
I'm glad you asked this question, because I forgot about the half day; Using the bible rule of a day for a year, we start with the 24 hour day. There are 360 days in a Biblical year and thus 24 hours/1 day = 360 days/1 year. So a half an hour would be 1/48 of a day. . Thus 1 hour = 15 days (360 ÷ 24), and a ½ hour = 7½ days (15 ÷ 2). So to correct myself the ten kings rule with the beast 15 days, not 14...
Hi Joshua: Not sure if I agree with your conclusion but at least now I can see where your math comes from. What really threw me off was the mention of a thousand years equalling one day in your original expression. Yes, this math makes sense but not sure the conclusion you draw is correct though. I think the 10 kings will rule with the beast longer than 2 weeks but not more than some amount of months. It won't be that long, Jehovah clearly cuts of their rule rather quickly but I don't know if it will be as quick as two weeks. Frank
If you notice, the half hour at Rev 8:1 fits my chronology of the time of the end, in the fulfillment of the Jewish holidays. In that chronology the first day of Hanukkah is on the first day of the new world when the holy place is cleansed, and that gives the opportunity for the fulfillment of the silence in heaven for a half hour or 7 1/2 days at the start of the new world in fulfillment of the seventh seal. Sense I believe the seventh seal is the very last event of this old system then that day is the first day of the new world, fulfilling that final Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. So if this half hour fits this chronology, then the hour in Rev 17:12 must be the 15 days for those ten to rule with the 8th king. But this doesn't coincide with the rise of the 8th king, that happens 450 days before the first day of the new world. Dan 7:12 "But as for the rest of the beasts, their rulerships were taken away, and their lives were prolonged for a time and a season." The beasts that give up their rulerships at that time are the lion, bear and leopard, not the ten horns. There will be wars up until a few days before Armageddon when all nations will give their armies to fight Christ Jesus in the end. So in my chronology below, the wild beast goes down where it says "Governmental Collapse", then the ten horns give their power over 5 days before the disgusting thing is placed. {2300 Starts} Watchtower News Reports: Sept 10th, 2018; Rosh Hashanah | {965 Days Pass} | {1260, 1290, 1335 Starts} Watchtower Goes Down: May 1st, 2021 | {777 Days Pass} | {1742nd Day} Call to Rebuild Jerusalem: June 17th, 2023 | {108 Days Pass} | {1850th Day} Governmental Collapse: Sept 29th-6th, 2023; Sukkot | {375 Days Pass} | {1260 Ends} Jesus Enthroned: Oct 12th, 2024; Yom Kippur | {30 Days Pass} | {1290 Ends} Disgusting Thing Placed: Nov 11th, 2024 | {45 Days Pass} | {2300[SUP]th[/SUP], 1335[SUP]th [/SUP]Day} New World: Dec 26th, 2024; Hanukkah
Your right, I worded that wrong. A thousand years here equal a day to Jehovah. Thanks for pointing that out.
Great post Joshua. The post-flood world started with Nimrod attempting to create a "global order", which was confused, and the age ends with a Nimrod figure actually succeeding in creating that "tower" of Babel "global order". In a sense we are in the age of confusion, "Babylon".
[video]https://youtu.be/1OncBdtnPMU[/video] This video is about a russin military and he is clear about "the global maffia" that runs the world with 50 and 100 year plans. That is Babylon the Great today, the cause of wars. The city having kingdom over the kings of the earth. (Rev 17:18) And like he many abused powerful countries will are getting annoyed, they will hate the whore and destroy it. I know Russian better than english, so I can guarantee that he really spoke about that. The transcript in english simplified some sayings. If you understand Russian, then the video was even more powerful.
Hi Jan: I know that everybody primarily interprets "The city having kingdom over the kings of the earth" secularly and that may be one of the meanings of that. But another is the Watchtower, which symbolically is a "city having kingdom over the "kings" of the earth" which could be talking about Jesus Bride, who are indeed "kings over the earth" in a spiritual sense. So, the Watchtower is the counterpart of the Catholic Church in that they are the apsostate part of true religions that have authority (relative) over the KIngs of the Earth. The Catholic Church was the whore of Babylon and rode them for Centuriies until when the Watchtower took over as the true church. Now, with the Watchtower apostate they are like the modern whore of Babylon, riding this system with her golden chalis of the New Covenant, but that covenant is tainted now by means of their fornication with the World. They have a kingdom over the Kings (remnant) of the earth. Frank
And interestingly the first divine intervention after the flood, triggered by the "Tower of Babelk" first world governmental order attempt, in the language confusion, is eventually reset to one "pure language" after God intervenes the final time on the New "World Government" Order Global Tower of Babel project. (Zephaniah 3:8-9) . . .“‘Therefore keep yourselves in expectation of me,’ is the utterance of Jehovah, ‘till the day of my rising up to [the] booty, for my judicial decision is to gather nations, for me to collect together kingdoms, in order to pour out upon them my denunciation, all my burning anger; for by the fire of my zeal all the earth will be devoured. 9 For then I shall give to peoples the change to a pure language, in order for them all to call upon the name of Jehovah, in order to serve him shoulder to shoulder.’ So that reaffirms the same connection you made in the above. That is why Daniel 2 "head of gold" is the masculine implied, globalizing system of the globalists, as that whole "immense image" of Daniel 2 is that whole world government totality, which they "head". Same as the whole "Scarlet Wild beast". (Babylon the Great is a feminine symbol of a harlot, in contrast) As you know UN NGO Bethel explains all the parts of the "immense image" but does not tell JWs what the whole image means, or the modern "Head of Gold" Globalizers. (Hab1) Bethel will not tell people how the whole "immense image" is "greater than the sum of its parts", as they cover up world government development for the premature "its the end of the world brothers" delusion of 2Thess2:1-2. As you know as well, UN NGO Bethel explains all the "seven heads" of the "Scarlet Wildbeast" but does not tell JWs what the WHOLE SCARLET WILDBAST means as world government, e.g. 8th King, King North, King Fierce in Countenance as they are ALL the same thing. Bethel will not tell people how the whole "Scarlet Wildbeast" is "greater than the sum" of its "seven heads", as they cover up world government development, and all modern globalization understanding since 1990. === It just happens to be the same time they joined the "United Nations of Organizations", the lower tier UN System of "non-kingdom" organizations and corporations, and even "consultative status" individuals. The UN Department of Public Information "Outreach Division" UN NGO system, represents the UN wildbeast branching out and down into the local level of nations. But Bethel will not tell JWs what that post 1990 UN expansion operation really means in and of itself as a global wildbeast system expansion for UN partnerships at the national, state and local level. That was a very significant UN expansion tier of 1990! The next step, is requiring all global individuals to "join the UN" once it is in world government. (Rev13:15-18) UN covenanted Bethel turns a blind eye, plays dumb, and says nothing about the whole thing, for "it is the end brothers!" forget about it! That is called the latest Apostate Leadership "riding the wildbeast". (Matt24:15)
Further scriptural understanding in the connection of the Tower of Babel and Babylon the Great in the time of the end can be found in Zechariah chapter 5. Zechariah 5 discusses the destruction of Babylon in the time of the end, and she is buried in the land of Shi'nar, the original location of the Tower of Babel, and Babylon. Hence providing direct evidence that Babylon the Great in Revelation is in fact directly connected to that original tower. Zech 5:11 "He replied: “To the land of Shi′nar to build her a house; and when it is prepared, she will be deposited there in her proper place.â€
SingleCell and friends, after constant consideration and meditation I have come to the conclusion and have now excepted that Babylon in the end is the Babylon of the past, which also means this is the head that was healed. Dan 4:30 "The king was saying: “Is this not Babylon the Great that I myself have built for the royal house by my own strength and might and for the glory of my majesty?” Rev 17:5 "On her forehead was written a name, a mystery: “Babylon the Great, the mother of the prostitutes and of the disgusting things of the earth.”
