Love you all! Agape... "Love is long‐suffering and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails." (1CO 13:4-8)
I've heard that song on the TV and have watched the music video of it on several occasions for years when I was a kid and a teen... Still love it ! Love is all and I love you all too...! Josh, check your e-mails, there are pictures therein that you're gonna like.
Essence of Love As I bow in heartfelt genuflection to think upon the Greeks who divined four words for Love and it's reflection Agape is the highest form divine with selfless care for those who are mine It's fruit is known by what I do and building all the parts of you phileo is brotherly affection the natural friendship and it's connection storge the love that resides in family within instinct and it's propensity Eros seems to be most appreciated never have I found it one who's hated Two sides to Eros have manifested both sides has mankind ever tested Lust and the table of the self or love of mate and pleasure in it's wealth All of us has been given this in measure the dispensing of it can give us pleasure But rapture is contained when all four live when we with complete heart choose to give all of us the truth within resisted but knowledge of it ever has persisted to teach us which we are to exercise the breath of spirit which within us lies will direct upon us our course and path and when we pass love is our epitaph yep in love with love 1John 4:7-12
That video took me down memory lane! GI-NORMOUS (which are bigger than ENORMOUS) bear hugs to everyone from Wallflower!
That's a nice runabout... Wallflower is going to faint out of wonderment ! The places where you were and that you show are beautiful....
Thinking of trading for a 2CV... Kansas City has some pretty areas. In one pic on there you can see downtown in a distance... We dont quite have 1000 year old castles, but for a country thats only a couple hundred years old, not bad...lol
If I ever hit KC one day, I hope that you'll allow me to test the leather of its seats... I promise, I'll behave and will put on pads so I won't dirty anything... Wow !
Hi Josh Having trouble getting the link to open. Do I have to tweak anything to get it to go? (I should tell you I am a tech dummy when it comes to computers). The blue car in the other post gives me heart palpitations - very spiffy looking. Wallflower
Hey Wallflower, It works ok here at my home, just takes about 20/30 seconds to load... heart palpitations already...? Be careful, will your heart stand what you're gonna see...? lol
Sorry....nothing is happening here.....I get a page with the "htc" logo (guess that's the right word) and below that is small blue square that "blinks" at me....I'm guessing here....does that mean it's trying to load the pictures?
OK.....tried using a different browser.....used Google Chrome.....that's better......."am cooking with gas now" (Aussie for "it's working"). Curl my hair!!!!!! Stars in eyes - heart palpitations - swooning - weak at knees - passes out - then comes too. I promise I will not bring any food into the car either. But I might have to be removed from the car, I'd wanna sit there, breathe deeply and savour the moment! (I'm not sure if I'd be any good at filming any cars - think my hands would shake too much from excitement!) Wallflower
back to some of the original post , have been reading up on some of the letters the anointed JW site has posted that have been sent to "Bethel" GB ..no wonder the bro's are in such an uproar...can't tell you how much I've enjoyed the reading of them ...battle lines are being drawn and not quite the tennis court kind where there's a friendly volley of interaction .. The GB has been invited to respond , what think ye ...will they ...ever .. https://anointedjw.org/uploads/L-WBTS_040213.pdf
I read some of their letters right from the start till around November last year. I guess that the GB's answer was (indirectly?) given during the annual meeting last summer : They said that they are the teachers and that others can get lost. If the consequences weren't so important, that duel would be almost funny... The first ones are afraid to lose their spiritual authority based on a lie and distort Jesus' illustrations and teachings to that end and the second ones want the JWs to believe that auto-suggestion (the Coué method) equals faith and that the Holy Spirit will fulfill the wishes of anyone who would repeat 20 times per day that he's anointed, that he craves to go to heaven and that he's got tons of spiritual gifts hidden deep inside... lol Matt 15:14 (NIV) "Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit."
never the less , they are getting pretty thoroughly inundated from more than a few directions ..agreed though. an epiphany is not baptism of the Holy Spirit ..I've had many many epiphanies over the years prior to repentance ..I'm wondering if they keep account of the uncounted ones who partake , just cause there's those meticulous records they keep (23, 720 is pretty specific) That they must be keeping track of those they're not keeping track of ...
I drove a lot lately and while driving, that's usually a moment during which I can meditate and think. I was thinking about the symbolism of Jesus' death (lamb sacrificed in Egypt, the land of death and slavery), of baptism while going through the Red Sea (1Cor10:2), the 40 years in the desert, the bread of life and the Rock flowing with water, Caleb and Joshua being the only circumcised Israelites to enter into the Promised land (=>anointed ones, Jos5:5) and all the different symbols that fit the spiritual journey of the Christians and of Jesus' anointed brothers in particular and I was really amazed how much God's people has lost its spiritual way and keeps wandering in a spiritual desert... It's a full-fledged part of Jehovah's purpose for things to take place this way, I guess firstly in order to teach humility and full reliance on Him, but that's staggering anyway... Only a few will admit that fact but we're all more or less lost in a spiritual desert. We're manifestly not in the Promised Land yet otherwise, that'd be obvious...!!! Matt 9:15 (NIV) "Jesus answered, "How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast."
