Dear all, I'm really fond of advertisement video clips. Beyond the commercial and "negative" aspect that they migh have, I loooove the imaginative and insolit aspect that they might have deep inside. So to speak, whether you realize it or not, each and every advertisement video clip is like a WT study article, every word, picture and movie image is weighted, deciphered and photoshoped to the extreme.... Well, jokes aside, humour, provocation, feelings, stupidity, basic instincts, pride, etc... all of that which makes up our "humanity" is triggered and enticed so we buy the products of one specific brand instead of the ones of the others. Humour is the most powerful of them... Well, it depends on cultures but humour is a BIG one anyway... Well, as I live in France, the ads will be conceived according to the French culture. Not so long ago, I was in Spain and I was smiling whilst looking at Spanish ads that looked like twins with the French ones but made a Spanish way. Interestingly, I watched a few episodes of "Castle" duddeb in Spanish.... sounded weird... lol not because of the Spanish language that I looooove but because I wasn't used to their Spanish voices. Don't forget, in advertisement videos, nothing is done by chance, even something that looks stupid. If it looks stupid, it means also that it made a deep print in your mind and that what matters... Now, enjoy !!! PS: I loooove British ads, I love their humour.... They're the best ever !!!! Mc Timber MC Do Hamlet PhotoBooth Hamster tapis , fumer tue
Dear all, In the first ad, the girl is mad at her parents, (well, just a usual teen somehow... lol) because her mother ironed her pair of jeans and the girl says at the end : "I'm just a whisker away from being ticked off"... lol and the last sentence says : Who's gonna tell her that internet is broken down ? lol So true and so funny !
Dear all, Don't worry, watch it till the end.... lol Hey, JD !! If cheddar can have such an effect, just imagine what raw milk cheeses can do...
I like that one very much, above all the eyes of the teddy bears and toys.. lol The voice says : "When we know what children are capable of, better have a Wolkswagen Touran...."
I had posted that one here one or two years ago in another thread and had entitled it : "An American meets civilisation..." Still so funny to watch... lol
Here, the voice says "What matters the most in poker is not what your cards are, but how you use them..." lol That's so true... ! Maybe also an alternative understanding of the illustration of the slaves' talents ?
I found it at last !!! Here is a funny video for JD and for our dear friends from Aussie land... Made me crack up when I watched it for the first time... T'was the trailer on the TV for the rugby match that took place a few weeks ago. The voice-off says : "Saturday evening, the Australian wallabies won't be stuffed toys..." Will the wallabies pass the test ? Did they pass the test ?
I like that advertisement because it broaches something that I developped a bit longer in a previous post, that is the fact that there are people who think that they aren't loveable, that they are flawed, ugly or fat, that nobody, why ! even God himself can't love them. My God, how much I wish those people would be in the shoes of those who love them and would be able to see through the eyes of the latter ones how beautiful and wonderful they are.... !!!!
Middle age must be making me go a bit soft or something.......that tugged at the ol' heartstrings. Think I'll have to 'woman up' and start putting a teaspoon of concrete on my breakfast each morning. Thanks for posting that, Utuna.
