Like you say, If everybody else can be wrong," why can't you be wrong? How do you know the feeling you say you have of being one of the 144,000 is not just your own feeling? There is nothing in the scrolls that says humans will know who is, or is not of the 144,000. That whole thing is a Watch Tower teaching..."Only 144,000 will go to heaven." That is not true. God has taken others to heaven. The number 144,000 is a perfect number. it does not mean what the Watch Tower says it means.
Jehovah did not say, "Read the scriptures." He said, "Reason on the scriptures." The difference between reading, and reasoning is like night, and day. Anybody can read scripture. They would have to reason on it to get an understanding. Jehovah said he would blind the eye of the un-believer...he would not let them be able to reason what is written. Without Jehovah's help, we cannot understand scriptures.

If you have a problem admitting you are wrong, that is something you need to fix.

I don't care what the writers of scripture think they may have, or did not mean what they wrote. Many did not even know what the meaning of what they wrote was?. Daniel asked God after he wrote what God wanted him to write, "What does this mean?" Jehovah told him, "It is sealed up until the time of the end." I sure Daniel tried to figure it out, but could not.
This is the time of the end. I do not follow what my heart believe what scripture means, nor am I smart enough to figure it out...I go to Jehovah. If he wants me to understand, he will give me reasoning. Joseph was a slave in Egypt. He did not know why? Jehovah gave him understanding when the time was right. Joseph did the right thing...trusted in Jehovah.
I am not trying to tear your world apart Josh7, nor am I trying to get you to believe anything I believe. We are both Christians who love Jehovah. If we teach what is not correct...both of us will stand before Jehovah, and we better have a good story. I don't want to be called in front of the boss, and I'm sure you don't either. Do you think we should work together on figuring things out?

I find most people are comfortable with how they believe. I think that is why they stay so many years in a false religion. It the old story of the lugger frog.
This farmer was going to cook up this big frog, so he started a fire, and put a big kettle of water over it. After the water started to boil, he threw the frog into the water. The frog jumped out as fast as he went in. The farmer threw him back in several times with the same results. So he reasoned on it. He emptied the boiling water, and put in cold fresh water. When the water was just starting to get warm, he lowered the frog into the pot. The frog liked the warm water. Before the frog knew what was happening, he was boiled.

Did you not read franks post? He told you a medical fact...you still don't believe. What are you trying to prove, that your wrong is right?

Brothers....please. The spirit of truth must be planted under peaceful conditions. Wrangling should cease, as befits Christians....


I, myself, have been in the same predicament before. Tempers flare...and insults come. But it must stop for God's spirit is one of love, and peace, and unity.

I had several sisters, sweet and humble, ask me to cool off, and step away for awhile when arguments developed. I would like to give my understanding on this topic...but wish it to be from another's perspective...and NOT to take sides in your personal discussion of a heated nature.
