On your honor - do not lookup the answer! Guess or know :)

    What book is this from?

"I loathe my life; I do not want to go on living. Leave me alone, for my days are like a breath."

... and of course, I mean "Bible book", and perhaps "what" should be "which" in case that wasn't clear!

We don't warn Utuna, Jan and Baruq learning bad English :)

"I loathe my life; I do not want to go on living. Leave me alone, for my days are like a breath."

    - Job 7:16

This is immediately after Elʹi·phaz accused God of being impossible to please, and subtly suggesting that Job caused his own calamity.

Job really is the worlds argument against a faithful man and God, in the form of Job's 3 "friends".

    Have you ever wondered...why boils?
Depending on what translation you are using..ones says...boils of the worst kind ..smote him to his bones.

These are known nowadays as carbuncles...they are many abcesses/boils gathered together in one place..instead of just one head it has many.
Many times they don't come to a head...the infection is trapped under the skin and dermal layer...and is driven downward into the bloodstream..fat bone and other tissues.
As he had them for the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.
He would have been swollen ..to a very very large degree.
If he had them on his back as he did..he would have looked like the hunch back of notredam.
Some as the bible states did burst and pus drained freely..and it stunk...his breath smelled because it had got into his bloodstream...his blood stream circulated to his lungs infecting them and thus his breath.
He had became septic..so there for all his organs were infected ....his liver kidneys lungs heart..yes even his gonads..every organ in his body would have been giving him unendurable pain....he would have been comiting and had server Nausea and been burning up with fever...
His face would have been very distorted...that's why his false companions didn't reconize him.
Carbuncles actually kill the flesh...the flesh actually turns white..what flesh wasn't white would have been a deep dark red and black..and felt on fire..as if someone was holding a rod of burning iron on his skin.
No antibiotic can save that flesh....it can only be cut out by a surgeon.
Thats what Job would have been trying too do with that peice of broken pottery.
The smell of him was absolutely putrid..he was decomposing flesh...that's why his friends stood back..
Satan knew what he was doing..as the nerve endings.are just below the skin
He probably couldn't urinate or use his bowels any more..as they would have gradually shut down..his head would have been throbbing..his throat raw.
Indeed when you turn septic..it goes to your bones and one cannot stand any bone being touched..even lightly.
It is indeed a dreadful death..which tho not dying he went to the very brink ....
And Then on top of that....he had to deal with three false friends ....I can only imagine how his emotions and psychological being must have been after dealing with his children's death...

No wonder he prayed for death....a remarkable man....such integrity....and to think he thought it was Jehovah doing it...AMAZING faith..and LOYALTY,,,

The scriptures also say he got no comfort or treatment..no oils etc...no salves.....

Jobs account has so much to it....but to be honest..it also scares me.....
