Just a Christian, trying to live by Bible principles. I don't need organized religion, meetings, opinions, etc.

Luke 21:8 was the final nail in the coffin for me. I do believe Jehovah's Witnesses are God's Temple, but since I am not being misled by the Man of Lawlessness I see no reason for me to go after/associate with people who will throw me under a bus if they could.

Oh, and the book I posted, Demonism and the Watchtower, and all the other things Rutherford did, I am not going to be associated with a religion that got their doctrine from demons anymore. "Get out of her my people".

All I have done was defend Jehovah's Witnesses for the last year, even when they flat out insulted me in a way that would shock some of you here, why do I need to put with this? I can continue what I am doing, minus the JW title and boredom of the meetings.

Well, here's a song for you. I know how you feel.

    Simon & Garfunkel - I Am A Rock

    "I Am A Rock"

    A winter's day
In a deep and dark December
    I am alone
    Gazing from my window
    To the streets below
On a freshly fallen, silent shroud of snow
    I am a rock
    I am an island

    I've built walls
    A fortress, steep and mighty
    That none may penetrate
I have no need of friendship
    Friendship causes pain.
    It's laughter and it's loving I disdain.
    I am a rock
    I am an island

    Don't talk of love
Well, I've heard the words before
    It's sleeping in my memory
    I won't disturb the slumber
    Of feelings that have died
If I never loved, I never would have cried
    I am a rock
    I am an island

    I have my books
And my poetry to protect me
I am shielded in my armor
    Hiding in my room
    Safe within my womb
I touch no one and no one touches me
    I am a rock
    I am an island

And a rock feels no pain
    And an island never cries

Hi B.T.W , As for me the day that I formally " Dissociated" with the J W.ORG I considered my self a true "Jehovah Witness" before that I was a witness for that ORGANISATION. B.T.W. continue Loving Jehovah and Christ with all your heart sole and mind, proclaim, Jehovah way the only way. and be sure that Jehovah and Christ will consider you a true "Witness for them". May God's Love and Peace be with you, Regent

Sometimes it comes to this bro.

I absolutely understand, having "watched" your thought process over the last year.

If you ever want to vent about the ramifications or talk about it you can always come here.

I believe someone recently made a post about the prophesied "river" drying up, the "water" becoming "poisonous" before the great day.

Why drink poison intentionally? Something I wrestle with a lot.

My dear brother ...don't get suckered into this thinking....how many died from those bitter waters...that so called wormwood...at revelations 8:11
ONE THIRD!!!!( ...so is that all of them )

    And why did they die....because

Rev 11.... and many men died BECAUSE THEY BECAME BITTER....

If you are discernimg as the 300 Gideon soldiers were...you WILL NOT swallow intentionally any poison water...

And if you do happen to and get a bit sick...your immune system can often fight it..so feed your immune system with faith strengthening things...

As BTW once told some one here....pick up your torture stake and carry it...

Brother how do you think the Christians felt whilst living in Jeruselum......amongst all those that didn't beleive or understand...did they get bitter.....did they drink the wormwood or poisonous water....
    It's a choice brother ...

Just be a little more patient my brother ...soon Moses /Jesus will return...and I guess the way things are going...he really will only find a remanent left...

    We are being tested singlecell.....
    Biggest hugs ;)

The 1/3 are those who are refined by the fires, the 1/3 are the true believers.

Rev 8:7 "The first one blew his trumpet. And there was hail and fire mingled with blood, and it was hurled to the earth; and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green vegetation was burned up."

Zech 13:9 "And I will bring the third part through the fire; And I will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name, And I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people,’ And they will say, ‘Jehovah is our God."

These 1/3 will groan over the waters of information from the WT that will become bitter to the pallet.

The star that falls called wormwood, is the 7th church of Laodicea that is spat out by our Lord for being luke warm, the WT.

It's not the water of life Bro, it's the container that is contaminated. Make sure you use a good filter (The Word of God). Eventually, in time, we will drink the water freely.

    To my precious brother BTW.

Sometimes when. We have been stabbed in the heart ...leaving can be the only way we can heal that wound a little.....but whilst you rest up and lick your wounds and recuperate....try to ponder on the Sardis cong ..and those few individuals who must have found life in his house absolutely hell.....the condition of his people are going to to be so abysmal....on his return...that your pain and humiliation and your scars and anger were all foretold....
....whatever your decision...try to remember he warned us about this...so we could prepare for such things...but he comforted us with letting us know the wheat was still there....and he would remove the weeds himself......
I too left for a time period as my pain was so incredibley deep.....but in time..he showed me the wheat and the weeds...and then some time after that I found RK and Perimeno......
I weep for you brother....but none of us have all the answers...not here or any other site or church or the society.....

Try your best to understand he has allowed this infiltration of the weeds....It a must...it has to happen....but never ever forget..he allowed the wheat to stay as well...
At times we have to train ourselves to step over the weeds to get to the wheat......
And BTW...if the wheat were sitting at the table. Along with Judas ..the son of destruction....would you refuse to sit at the table because he was there also.....
Go have a rest brother...recuperate....and may Jehovah always be with you....
    Your loving sis

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

One major reason for me making this decision is being single. Since becoming a JW 9 years ago, I have yet to have a girlfriend who is a JW, while at the same time receiving attention from "worldy" girls, but having to turn them down because I was a JW. Every JW girl I have tried to flirt with, etc. Has been a major problem, things I shouldn't be dealing with, not trying to be rude, but I would swipe left on okcupid for most of these JW girls, why should I put up with their nonsense when I know I can do better? Jesus said if being single causes you to sin, do what you want and marry. It is clear to me that I will never marry a JW, especially because I don't believe 1914, because they are too judgemental, "he's not a ministerial servant, his hours are too low, he doesn't comment enough at the meeting."

My goal is to find a Christian woman, teach her about the truth, and marry her. If she tries to break my Bible principles, I will cut her off.

Hi, brother Brakethewalls, Just wait little longer. Look for what could happen in 3 weeks. It will be September 23. For me it seems logic that on that day Revelation 12 happens. And the woman will have to flee. And it seems logic that the world wide christian congregation will be reformed to the core. Look here what Malachi 3:1-3 says:

“Look! I am sending my messenger, and he will clear up* a way before me.+ And suddenly the true Lord, whom you are seeking, will come to his temple;+and the messenger of the covenant will come, in whom you take delight. Look! He will certainly come,” says Jehovah of armies.2 “But who will endure the day of his coming, and who will be able to stand when he appears? For he will be like the fire of a refiner and like the lye*+ of laundrymen.3 And he will sit as a refiner and cleanser of silver+ and will cleanse the sons of Levi and he will clarify* them like gold and like silver, and they will certainly become to Jehovah people presenting a gift offering in righteousness.

Thank you sister, that was very encouraging, beautifully said and perfectly reasoned. I agree, but the struggle is real!

Coming to a head with the midweek book study -- "God's Kingdom Rules"

I feel myself going into turtle mode, but will never give-up the faith.

Everyone aware of this problem can probably relate -- I feel like damaged goods in the congregation, not by way of judgment from my brothers and sisters, but that I can't really ... "leap" like they do, since they are really leaping with the "visible organization", to which I applaud them ... in the same way I would applaud Saul for being a zealous Jew.

But when you know that Jerusalem and Judaism are "former things", it's hard to reside there.

Just make sure it's Jehovah's spirit that helps you make a choice, and not your hormones!! :)

    Freewill - Rush

There are those who think that life has nothing left to chance
A host of holy horrors to direct our aimless dance

    A planet of play things
    We dance on the strings
    Of powers we cannot perceive
    'The stars aren't aligned
    Or the gods are malign...'
Blame is better to give than receive

    [Chorus:]
You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill
    I will choose a path that's clear
    I will choose freewill

    There are those who think
That they were dealt a losing hand
The cards were stacked against them
    They weren't born in Lotusland

    All preordained
    A prisoner in chains
    A victim of venomous fate
    Kicked in the face
You can't pray for a place
    In heaven's unearthly estate

    [Chorus]

    Each of us
    A cell of awareness
    Imperfect and incomplete
    Genetic blends
    With uncertain ends
On a fortune hunt that's far too fleet

    [Chorus]

Well just remember it was the tortoise that won the race...and the hare did the leaping ..

A sister helped me a while back...she viewed staying in his house as a way Jehovah was teaching us patience ..and if he had to put up with his wayward people..until his appointed time ...then now we know what he feels like...

Also one other thing...we had a visiting speaker and a sis half awake...put them up over night...he's in his 70s and an elder..
Anyway she got, into young baptisms and how,it wasn't scriptural and really frustrated her..

He was very diplomatic...and said we have a good example of that...how old was Jesus...( he then tapped his head ) ...as if to say..we should be using common sense..on that position...
He then Went on to say...we don't always go along with what the society says..all the time....we had two kids that went to university and have great jobs as teachers...you go with the flow and make your own decisions as to what you feel is right....( he then winked at her )
Brother there are more there that sit quietly and go with the flow...to keep peace....and wait it out...
Hang in there ....new book soon:).....thank goodness...haha

    Brother BTW,

Jesus said, "The truth shall make you free."

Millions of people die, rather than be coerced to obey criminals, dictators, and corrupted governments intent on fleecing the lowly.

Those who have courage just hope for the best, and plow forward.

    This is not the case with Christians, however. Jesus urges us to obey his commands;

36 Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not an earthly kingdom. If it were, my followers would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish leaders. But my Kingdom is not of this world.”

37 Pilate said, “So you are a king?”

Jesus responded, “You say I am a king. Actually, I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true.” John 18

Religions will try to claim themselves as truth. In the end, Jesus insists we place his words...and his alone....as the guiding light .

    As long as we do this, then ;

18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,b]">[b] baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matt. 28

You will not be alone. Christ will be with you, and the holy spirit your helper,
12 “There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now. 13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. 14 He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine; this is why I said, ‘The Spirit will tell you whatever he receives from me.’ John 16

    Free people are happy.

36 "So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free." John 8:36
