Dear all ! Unfortunately, I've been absent for a while from our forum and as I intend things to change on many grounds so I can be more present here with you all and despite the fact that it may take a little while for them to change, I'd like to know how I could easily replace the links to my favorite images now broken from Photobucket to our db and so towards another 3rd party hosting site that would be more reliable and free (or at least affordable for the hosting needs that I have here on this db). Any idea ?
I still use Photobucket, and it works for me free, but to be honest Flickr is free and it's easier to use... LINK
I don't understand as it asks me $400 a year for unlimited third party hosting... They're crazy ! I'm out of there !
I have from there about a hundred links of images and smileys posted here and just imagine the time, the energy and the... memory I'll have to display to get it all match back again according to what's posted here from someplace else... There are things posted here that I hold dear and that maybe don't necessarily need to be repeated indefinitely but who am I to say that someone else won't need it at some point just like I used to need spiritual beaten tracks to be broached differently so they make sense for me the way my mind and heart work....? God only knows !
Must be related to this, Utuna: https://www.dailydot.com/debug/photobucket-policy-change-amazon/ In any case, you may want to explore Mozilla's Firefox's add-ons: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?platform=windows&q=photobucket (Includes some add-ons to correct broken links on forums) For Flickr: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?platform=windows&q=flickr For Chrome browser: PhotoBucket: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/photobucket?hl=en&_category=extensions Flickr: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/flickr?hl=en&_category=extensions From what I was able to track down, there isn't an app that will make transfers between the services very easy for you.
Well, it seems that they have softened their position since they are now offering a $99 (78 euros) yearly subscription for non commercial third party hosting. I've decided to subscribe to it and got back all the pictures displayed here. Yay ! I'm glad I have been spared the hassle of moving all the pictures to another site and of having to post everything back again with the inevitable errors and oversights inherent to such a task. Frankly, I didn't feel like doing it AT ALL !
why dont you just come to my subreddit? it is free and has dwarfed this forum, e-watchman's, meleti vivlon's, etc. I am not bragging but clearly, my method is more effective.
