Hi I'm a Newbie here. I'm happy to be around spiritual minded people. Today I am examining this scripture Matthew 24:13,14 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Jehovahs witnesses feel they are the true religion because they are the only one doing this kingdom preaching work. Are they doing it?? Are they doing it right?? Do they understand this verse?? If you examine these words closely it says "And THIS good news of the Kingdom will be preached". The words "And THIS" is referring to a specific "THIS" about the kingdom. It doesn't say THE good news of the Kingdom will be preached but rather "THIS good news of the Kingdom will be preached and then the end will come." My English teacher told me to never start a sentence with 'And' but the Bible is broken up in such a way. If we read "And THIS" we should understand its a continuation of a thought. So basically Jesus just told us what would be preached before he said the words "And THIS good news of the kingdom". He said it in verse 13. 24:13But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And THIS good news of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony (a statement where you stand) to all nations, and then the end will come. So we now see that this specific message about the kingdom is a message of endurance before the end comes. There are 3 specific messages of endurance to be preached all over the world to every tribe nation and tongue ,which is called "a call for endurace" to endure faithfully. It's found in Rev 14:6,12 6Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. 7And he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.” 8Another angel, a second, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who made all nations drink the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality.” 9And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.” 12Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. --- "The end" is the Great Tribulation of God's wrath. Right now we are in the hour of test so this message is what we want to preach so that everyone stays alert and endures faithfully before the end comes. My Breakdown in plain English: 3 specific messages of endurance- #1 Now is the time to choose God's side by choosing His ways and teachings and putting your faith and trust in Christ and the kingdom only. #2 Babylon has fallen. This is to come soon( in 37 months). The world power America who has massive influence over the rest of the world is about to fall and we want to get out from among it and not try to put Trump back in office and kick out the deep state and reestablish the constitution and our God given rights and freedoms. This will have fallen which means its time for the kingdom. Yay!! We aren't going back to man's government and a constant fight to keep a God fearing Government, or our God given rights, and Freedoms. (Roman's 13) We have something better to chose now- The Kingdom!! So don't support any political party for your future and hope. #3 Don't take the Mark of the Beast. These are ungodly ways and teachings that are being forced upon the entire world's school systems, work places, businesses and churches. If you can't tell what ways are from God and what ways are from Satan then you have a lot more study to do and relationship to build. We want the mark of God on our hand and forehead.(Due 6:8) Not the Beast because we don't belong to the Beast. This time we are in now is the time of "A call for endurance ". Let's endure faithfully by following these 3 messages of endurance. Extra stuff: -Proof Babylon represents coming world powers and not religion. Daniel 2 37Your Majesty, you are the greatest of kings. The God of heaven has given you sovereignty, power, strength, and honor. 38He has made you the ruler over all the inhabited world and has put even the wild animals and birds under your control. You are the head of gold. 39“But after your kingdom comes to an end, another kingdom, inferior to yours, will rise to take your place. After that kingdom has fallen, yet a third kingdom, represented by bronze, will rise to rule the world. Daniel 4:30 As he looked out across the city, he said, ‘Look at this great city of Babylon! By my own mighty power, I have built this beautiful city as my royal residence to display my majestic splendor.’ If the head is Babylon, a world power, then the body represents an extention of world powers to come before the end when the kingdom takes over. Watchtower taught us this but then kept calling Babylon the empire of false religion.[insert confused face here] Religion is with the Beast known as the false prophet. When Jesus comes he destroys the Beast and false prophet.
Greetings, dear friend... Thank you very much for your insight and contribution. I agree and thank you for pointing that out. This message of endurance seems appropriate. Just my personal belief, but I believe all earthly governments are run by the satan (the liar). Just as in the third temptation of Christ, the satan could offer all the kingdoms of the world to our Lord because he owned them. This is the reason I do not keep an opinion on world governmental agencies. I'm curious, brother, have you considered that the Holy See is a country? It is a monarchy and considered the smallest country in the world. On a side note, you may not have ordered my book, so I will share with you the only time in our lifetime that the chronology of Daniel lines up with the remaining holidays yet to be fulfilled.
