....after I've brought it out of orbit and my heart palpitations settle! Curl my hair! That is some piece of work!
I guess I could take my oversized luggage on this plane. http://www.airbus.com/aircraftfamilies/freighter/beluga/
Had to give way to a Pontiac at an intersection today. Curl my hair! Thought I must have been dreaming.
The Bathurst 1000 Race Curl my hair! How I love October!!!!! http://www.mount-panorama.com.au/events/supercheap-auto-bathurst-1000.html
That's pretty impressive WF ...our boeing boys are certainly being given a run for their money ..Having lived in South Seattle everyone was pretty aware that Boeing was THE company that funded the local economy ..and every little industry locally that made parts for the aircraft and being in Corporate Travel for over 20 years we all knew what was coming on the market ..and when the test flights were going on ...I lived just a few miles from "the Boeing airport" not just the SeaTac airport and also worked at SeaTac for a couple of years for Wein Air Alaska ..and yes I have "mementos" . This particular Airbus looks like a "walrus" or porpoise ...They have definately not gone for the "sleek" look of Boeing ...(I also worked for Horizon and Alaska)
I followed a beautiful car yesterday too while running an errand. I sent the photo to Josh and I don't remember what he said that it was. I'll ask him again. I'm gonna send it to you too. As for the Beluga, yes, that's a beautiful and impressive bird. They fly very regularly back and forth between Hamburg and Toulouse.
That car would be useful lately in the region around Montpellier and Nimes here in France. There have been terrible floods there lately and rainstorms were forecast again for the following days. Hey, Wallflower, in the video, the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car, isn't it ?
I've been to the SeaTac airport. It was a stop-over (2 days, 2 nights.) Don't remember much from the first day as I had jet lag and was totally exhausted, when I reached Seattle. Was lucky to walk in a straight line to get to a cab, to take me to the hotel. I struggled to fill out the registration card at the reception desk at the hotel but managed to find my room. Next day, I took the bus to go Downtown to see the Space Needle and continued a little further south. Got lost on the way home and saw a lot of Seattle that I had not planned on seeing. I figured that if I just kept on going north and kept an eye out for the planes, then I would find my way back to SeaTac. Wallflower
It's been a while since we saw Wallflower last here and... there's nothing like the picture and video below to bait her back here !!!! The following is like Chinese to me : 1969 Dodge Charger RT440 V8 440ci, 380 ch !
Is there a shed in the "cyber garage" large enough to garage this? http://www.jayohrberg.com/American_Dream_100ft.html
My favourites are the wooden car and the lady shoe car (but that's really a motorcycle.)
Hope you enjoyed it . It is fine for a "city" bay on one side , lake and mountains on the other ..and downtown the bus is free ...
We have the same car in the family , but it is bronze colored . and sounds just the same , you know when it's arriving ..
Travelled recently to visit family. They live not far from an airport. We went into town for a meal. I didn't realise that where we parked, was in the flight path of the airplanes coming into land at the airport. So when I got out of the car, I was looking straight up at a plane coming into land. Curl my hair!!!!! I just stood there and blinked.
