Pope steps down...

    So the latest Pope Benedict decides to step down Feb 28. Has anyone else read the "Prophecy of Popes" originally penned in 1139? Although I don't really hold to much on it, it's interesting that it says there is only one more Pope to be in the long line before the end...

    just ran across information regarding that
    this last year , can say it sorta struck a
    cord of note but probably since that bastion
    of corruption is so noticeable .I saw recently
    also they have a series on the Borgias was
    wondering if they covered the fact that one
    of them was made a pope and just how it
    was that he acquired that little detail ...

    There has been some strange string of events in the past week, first the pope stepping down, then lightning striking the dome of the vatican that same night, and then a great ball of fire falling from the skies over russia and it's only February:(
