    Psalms 19:1-3

"The heavens are declaring the glory of God; And the work of his hands the expanse is telling. One day after another day causes speech to bubble forth, And one night after another night shows forth knowledge. There is no speech, and there are no words; No voice on their part is being heard."

This scripture came to mind when I was travelling in the outback region of Australia years ago. We stopped at a camping ground to spend the night (there is safety in numbers and it is not safe to just simply pull off the road and sleep in the car, as it is too isolated in the outback.)

We slept under the stars and the folk I was with slept on an air bed on either side of me. I slept in a sleeping bag and checked the zipper on it about 20 times because I was afraid a snake or some other creepy-crawly was going to get in the sleeping bag with me.

Then I relaxed and just took in the sight of the stars in the heavens - I am not a poet and I wish that I had the words to describe it. It made me feel as if I could reach out and touch the stars with my hands (if you know what I mean.) And I have never forgotten it.

as far as the physical world there are few places I'd rather be than under
the open sky in some woodland trail in the mountains , next to rivers or
along the coast . I have been so blessed living in the currant place I
am in , it is by far the finest area with the most peace I've ever had . I
don't think Jah and Christ Jesus could have put me in a better place to
consider the true wealth of the earth and its inhabitants without having
lived in a place so full of what is left of the best of Gods creations ..No
other place could have moved me to put into words the magnificence
of their work via the poetry I was kindly given to express the depth of
gratitude for having this after so many horrible experiences in so many
places that I was never able to appreciate them even having a roof over
my head ..This area has lent itself to seeing the world thru eyes that
God intended for us to have , I have written , photographed , drawn
(here my love of coral reefs and tide pools) some of the things that
surround this place ...Oh and yes I love camping but would never go
without a large group ( 12 times faced I death and one of the last
ones was having a knife to my throat two blocks from my car , that'll
take the air out of one's balloon) ...so haven't been camping in a very
    long time..:D:D
