    Hi everyone

Just wanted to apologise for my absence. Have been ill recently and after I recovered, I helped a few elderly brothers/sisters in the congregation who were having some problems of their own.

Additionally, some arthritis in the hands is "cramping my style" (pun intended :)) and it is difficult to write long posts now, after being at work all day. (Am seeking treatment for the arthritis.)

So I'm hoping to write just a small comment on the daily text and contribute that way.

    Hope that everyone is well.

Greetings sister. Your contributions to those who thirst for understanding is comprehensive.... You have accomplished your spiritual role up until this point, respectfully.

Our job is to implant, and our Father's to water.

Don't argue, or to continue on, beyond your parables...

Give your understanding, and then move on Sis...

Your interchange of faith is appreciated here....

    All love in Christ.

Great to hear from you sister!

Someday we will be relieved from all of this, and the trouble will all make sense and we will understand why it is necessary.

Does gold feel the pain of refinement? Probably not. But it is necessary for us to go through the fire!

    Until then:

    Hi Everyone

Glad to have a chance to stop and post again. I've been busy assisting elderly brothers and sisters.

Spent many a night up at the hospital. How difficult it is to watch these dear faithful ones contend with illness and old age. They have been serving Jehovah for years and I've known some of them for many years.

I can still picture them in my mind when they were younger and so busy, going to work, raising a family, taking their families to meetings and out in the ministry.

While I'm glad to be able to help, it drains me both emotionally and mentally.

I look forward to the time when these ones are resurrected again and will be young again.

Got a "bit of dust in my eye now" and starting to feel emotional so I'll stop for now.

Also wanted to praise all the wonderful people who are employed as health care professionals. So grateful for the way they do their jobs with professionalism and compassion.

    Hope all are keeping well.

    Hey Wallflower,
I had the feeling that all had seemed to disappear from here. It’s good to see your post again.
I have some of those problems with my joints also. My fingers seem to lock-up, painfully. So, I’ve been taking 50mg of vitamin D3 in the morning. It seems to help me get through the day. :)

It’s part of that sin we inherited from our ancestors; Adam and Eve. It’s coded in our DNA. I prayed yesterday that I may live long enough to see the return of our King, Christ Jesus.

    Hi Tsaph.

It's nice to be back again. Yeah my joints go stiff too. The vitamin D3 has been a help to me, too. It helps to loosen the joints up.

Hope that you and your family are all well at this time.

Thanks for the reply Wallflower. I was shopping at one of our big stores yesterday. My wife asked if it was crowded. I said, "No! It was just all the old people that got in my way. They walk slow and act like they don't know where they're going." She said, "What do you mean OLD? You're OLD. YOU were just part of the crowd!" :)

That remember me a friend of mine who went to a wedding. She is now 67. Sitting at the table, one woman said:
Times have changed. Before, there was always a table reserved for the old people. And now, nothing.
    My friend answered:
Look! The table for the old people is the table where we are.

You too hang in there Josh...it’s a rocky hard road to be sure...but we really need to trust that Jehovah knew what he and his Son were doing when by the helper/Holy Spirit ...that they drew us to a body of people known as Jehovah’s witnesses.
Even Knowing all things unseen by most...that’s where he drew us....and at this time..we are learning ...endurance and patience...I guess we are all trying to do that in whatever we we can :)

I look forward to the day when we can meet face to face. There will be a time when we will see all our family and friends who believe in Jehovah and His Son, Jesus Christ. He will be our King and ruler forever.:):):):)
