Really brothers and sisters, we have to become like children, put pride aside, and read Christ's words over, with a clear head.

We all were deceived. And it is only Christ who can give you God's spirit and understanding of his instructions.

I try, but it doesn't work that way. It's personal between you and Christ. You must listen to His voice, not mine.

Father sent his Son to instruct you. Listen to him. Matt. 17:5

Nobody said that there was no anointing. I'd be the first to denounce such a stance. Christ's ministry on earth and what happened during the first century, which the Acts of Apostles relate, were a shadow of what would take place during the very last days. There are many features and "events" that existed during the first times of the "church" which ceased soon to exist and which are therefore no longer in effect, otherwise, that'd be obvious for us all to see. The "powerful works" died with the apostles and the Holy Spirit acts since then in more "subtle" ways, certainly with enough force for someone anointed to know undoubtedly that she/he is so (contrary to what you shout from the rooftops) and certainly not in the first fruitcake that comes your way and tells you that she badly wants to die so she meets God....

God's spirit is a real thing and is active in us and through us in countless ways but isn't in each and every seemingly supernatural event that may happen to meet our eyes or senses....

What makes you all think that there is some "formula" for the spirit of holiness
to act upon those whom God chooses.
    Heb 1
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

there is not a single instance of our God or our Savior "doing it the same" in every instance ..You who
study the bible at length why don't you get it ...God uses every "avenue" available oh you of short sight and
mindset. He has used paupers and kings , and everything in between . has become all things to all
persons in order to save all that can be saved , oh you who love boxes all the same ...And ya all think
there's a method to getting the holy spirit , that oh young men is God's choice to make , NOT YOURS ..
Truly in all the scriptures that have been preserved (as not all have) the one thing "consistent" is that
there is NO method and the means are as individual as those of us who answer the call .You study
the scriptures for in THEM you think you have eternal life , but you don't come to me that you might
have life . Quote Quote Quote ...come now let us reason together . tomorrow I will still know the
Father as having come to him from a call far different than your own , that for all of Gods children
    is Life .

    Yes, good thoughts sister,

And I agree Utuna. That sister who wanted to be anointed , that was over 40 years ago. She was surely saying she wanted to go to heaven, and we all know one must die first, or be there when Christ returns, and he handles the transformation. I don't remember if she said, "when I die"...just the gist of her desire to see Jehovah.

I will tell you about a dream I had several years ago. Please don't stomp all over it, OK? It was just a dream. (or was it?)

I was on a lane between the farmhouse and the tractor shed of a large dairy farm that I used to work/live on in upstate NY. It belonged to married-kin from my older sister, but her husband was killed in a car accident , so the family splintered. Anyway, I have gone up there several times through my life to visit, and get hay into the barn, and work around on the places. Beautiful up there; Schoharie County; Middleburgh, NY.

In my dream, out of a blue sunny day a whirlwind developed around me, and got stronger and stronger until I was getting sandblasted literally, and I began ascending into the air. I was mortified, and realized I was dying... a little piece at a time!

I could feel my skin going, it was stinging painfully and I just crossed my arms, and prayed , Father, there's nothing I can do now, I'm in your hands...

So, there was no further pain, just the sensation of my body disintegrating as I went round and round, and further into the sky. Eventually, I was consumed or disintegrated, and just my consciousness was still aware. Then wind abated, and I floated back down. Same place, on that road between the old house and the barn. But I had been changed.I was no longer a man, but a spirit now.

And I started sobbing, and chest heaving, and just cried,... hard... because I knew I would never have that body again, and I loved it so, and I already missed it. I'm crying as I write, the dream was so vivid, and my feelings for my body still a great love. I try to take care of it, and I'm proud of it mostly, it has served me so well...and , well, we should love ourselves, I think.

I felt light as a feather, and was more or less just floating there on the ground, and trying to get myself under control, emotionally,...when I heard voices behind me, and I turned.

There were 3 children, a boy and two little girls coming down the lane;skipping, and laughing, and totally engrossed in there playful mindset, and they gathered around my legs and circled me in some kind of tag, or teasing game, all the time laughing and cavorting like kid goats, jumping, etc.

I spoke to them, " I died.", I said, all choked-up, still. But they didn't hear me, and it was obvious they couldn't see me, just kept prancing around my legs. I realized then, I was very tall, and towered over them, like 12 feet tall. I also realized they weren't children at all, but adults, but because of my change, I saw them as Father sees us; as children.

My heart went out to them, with love and sympathy. "Why, you're just like little children!"...I thought.

I reached down to touch them with my unseen hands, wanting to caress them like one would a baby, or a puppy. But I could not, as I was spirit, and they were flesh. But somehow they sensed my love and stayed around my legs, and felt the love in that place where I 'stood'. So I just watched them and poured my thoughts into them, I guess.

    Then I woke up.

That dream was so real, I wept for some time, and was shaken deeply, over the vision I had received. Like seeing my death and resurrection.

I cried for some time, and I don't believe my feelings about being here as a human are near as important any longer. I look ahead to the change, and know I will be used to help people here during the 1000 year period, and after.

It was a gift from God. But as you see, it is of a personal nature, not a prophesy, or teaching, or revelation. Just a dream.

We don't yet know all the holy spirit will do for us. But do it will. So, Utuna, just have faith, and keep looking for new things from the spirit. You have a good heart, and God will bless all who do, and who seek He and his Son's will. Not wanting to be condescending here, just my view. We all, like children, have so much to learn while we live in these bodies, with these sick minds....

Thank you sister POP. ...for stating it right on and timely. We have no say over who or what the spirit does. It is like the wind, and blows where it wants. (John 3)

It roves the earth, and has eyes for those doing bad and good. I like the way it is described often in Revelation. "The seven spirits before God', etc. (Gen 1:2)

They will take good care of us, if we show we want to draw close to them.

    Brother Apocalypse.

I'm sorry we argued over the scriptures. I am glad you revealed the truth about the UN/WT involvement, if that is what you're saying. Very good, that should have been exposed.

And I wish to hear more of your thoughts on the scriptures, too.

    Blessings upon you.

Apocalypse has been banned again but for 40 days this time around. This forum isn't a vomitive bag or a tribune for trolls. His posts have been under surveillance for a while by the three of us and I have asked Josh to take action because each post Apocalypse writes is either offensive or deliberately provocative. There’s no censorship here on this db but we don't like that our tolerance be taken as weakness. Violence is the force of the weak and his ways haven't lied in that regard. We definitely won't crawl at the feet of jerks in order to thank them for having civil manners at last. If he's such a spiritual man, let him apply his methods elsewhere and spiritually "upbuild" the kindred spirits of his whom he will find by the dozen in the countless spiritual dumps so rife all over the Internet.

I awoke at 4 a.m. this morning with a nagging thought I must write about. It is somewhat along these same lines here on this subject.

    And thanks b. Daniel for these scriptures;

    Gal.5:13 For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another. 5:14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18}
5:15 But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don't consume one another. 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

Even if we get our ducks in a row, so to speak scripturally, we still must not harshly look down on the worship of anyone who loves God and Christ, doing what they believe is right. They pray, and conduct themselves best they can in a corrupt world, trying their best not to sin in the flesh, feeling the same feeling we all do; Paul , too..."miserable man that I am...slave to sin."

We cannot exalt ourselves, and speak down about others, as if Bible truth is the only criteria that saves these souls worldwide. After all...how many times we find out our own 'true knowledge ' wasn't so true after all?

Love, and faith in God's love and mercy to all who are good-hearted, will ,in the end, eclipse knowledge.

"Knowledge puffs up; love builds up."

I know I have many times gone way overboard as regards this , 'spirit and truth' worship...and cast love aside.

Lord help us all if we do that, as we are sinful, and some of us proud, even haughty at times.

Father is a friend not of the proud and haughty, but with the lowly of mind, and downtrodden...the scriptures also abound in examples....

Forgive me all readers here. I have sinned there, many times.
