Conservation of the Tomb of Jesus . . . According to tradition the body of Jesus was laid in a limestone cave following his crucifixion by the Romans in 30 A.D. (??) I’ve always been told it was 33 A.D. And guess what? He wasn't there! http://www.upi.com/News_Photos/Feat...de-the-Church-of-the-Holy-Sepulchre/fp/10732/
Very interesting, thanks ! Interestingly, the archeological layers in Jerusalem (and closely around) that correspond to Jesus' times are 12 metres* down under the modern surface of the ground. There's been quite a lot of passage there over the 20 last centuries.... Yes, several distinct dates are given either by religious leaders or secular historians regarding the date of Jesus' death... * 40 feet in alien measure unit....
Did they mention the year that "tradition" told them Jesus was place there, supposedly? Just kidding, saw it on every photo.
