I am having some second thoughts about posting the information that I have put up. Number one concern is copyright infringement. I could claim what is called “fair useâ€￾, but that can be challenged in a court of law. I had stated in one of the first posts, that this material is not mine. I did not write it.

The other concern is that the writers have a trinitarian belief that everyone here is aware of. It deals with Jesus being Jehovah, etc. I have a problem with those thoughts. Another is the thought of “everyone goes to heaven or hellâ€￾. They believe that hell is the eternal place of suffering.

So, I will have to take some time to figure out how to go about writing something that I see in certain scriptures, such as the one I posted for Gabriel.

I just had two sisters deliver the new jw org tract. the sole message was we are delivering tracts that show our website of bible answers..

the messege of the tract is decent it states that the bible holds all answers to important questions.

and that jw.org can help you use that bible it then gives a few example questions and also offers a free bible study..

since the tract is dedicated solely to reading and understanding your bible and getting free help from Jehovah's wittiness to do so.

I would have to say that the tract is a worthwhile cause for the kingdom and does not exploit the preachers by promoting a website.

it may Evan let people who ordinary close the doors on the preaching go out of curiosity and actually interest themselves!

 

today's thought. hmm it ocured to me today that I'm 53 and in all this time I never suffered grave harm Evan though I did incredibly stupid things!!

Jehovah preserved me! and took care of me and kept me from harm.

how much More so will Jehovah take care of those far more righteous then me.

PLATFORMS

Standing on a specially built platform within Jerusalem’s newly built walls, Ezra the scribe read God’s Word to the people for six hours. As he read it they wept, worshiped, and went home rejoicing. Think: God’s Word is so powerful that all you have to do is expose people to it and their lives are changed. Notice the words, “Ezra. . .stood on a platform. . .they had made for the purpose.†When the printing press was invented, one of the first books produced was the Bible. It gave birth to the Reformation, influenced the Industrial Revolution, and changed the world. Now fast-forward to the age of the Internet. Today we have a “platform†capable of reaching every level of society, all the way to the most remote comers of the earth. Instead of complaining about the garbage on the Internet, become an Internet evangelist, teacher, counselor, or encourager. Don’t let the Enemy monopolize it! “Those who turn many to righteousness [will shine] like the stars forever and ever.†(Da 12:3 NKJV). A geologist-turned-missionary was asked by a large oil company to go to work for them in the country where he ministered. His annual salary would be more than he’d make in his entire lifetime as a missionary. But he said no. When they asked, “Isn’t the salary big enough? he replied, The salary’s big enough; the job isn’t!†Jesus said, “When I have been lifted. . .I will draw all people toward me.†(Jn 12:32 GWT). And we have been given a platform to reach the world-let’s use it!

 

Well this is a subject I am familiar with ..being a writer and photographer
since I had some Professed "sister" in Qatar , actually copy nearly 35-40
of my pieces and I caught her , since I decided to check out who had
liked my POP official page on FB ...(she professes to be a JW) since then
has blocked me ...I reported to Bethel and their response was it is
difficult to prove infringement (yah , unless it's their material arrhhggg)
She gave no credit to me at all ...and others assumed she had written
them , yes I researched it and emailed her ...any how , she could have
used the share , but instead posted it as her own ...
(mine is all copyrighted thru my Lawyers in Portland so that I can
actually "sue" for registered work ..if not done under fair use

Over the years, I've quoted tons of materials on Robert's forum, here and on French-speaking forums and I've always mentioned where the quotations come from.

Having ties to the music industry for many years, I’m familiar with the copyright laws pertaining to written word, lyrics, recordings, etc. I also have a close friend who owned many patents. He designed an instrument that was used to fabricate the containers of the “moon rocksâ€. Today, unfortunately, the Internet is a huge ground for using copyrighted materials without permission. Youtube has one of the largest misuses of copyright. I see quite a few that claim “fair use†and they don’t have a clue about the law. “Fair use†of copyrighted material does not give a person the right to use the entire piece. It grants the use or quotation of portions of a work for teaching or commentary on that particular subject. No more, no less.

If someone wishes to use the entire piece, written article, song (lyrics and music), they must obtain written permission from the owner of the copyrighted material. This must be obtained even when credit is given to the original creator. You will find this usually at the end of an article such as: “... taken from The Living Bible Copyright © 1997, 1971 by Tyndale House Publishers, Inc. Used by permission. All right reserved.†Many times, the owner is not the creator of the work. It is usually the publisher who controls the right. That particular point is often the way music companies steal the rights from young unsuspecting artists. The artist signs away the “right†to publish when they sign the recording contract. This was especially true in the early days in the music industry. Today, it happens in the self publishing industry when people are not familiar with the law.

Even though the “copyright†is registered in the U.S.A., it still covers that right in other countries. The problem lies with the authority pursuing and enforcing those rights. IS THERE “JUNK†IN YOUR LIFE?

Picture a big ship being worked on in dry dock. Beneath the waterline is all the “junk†it has picked up during its voyages. Nobody can see it, but an experienced captain can feel it because his ship lacks the “oomph†it once had. As a result, companies complain that it takes too long to get goods for their customers, and the ship’s owners are unhappy because it hurts their bottom line in a competitive market. The effort required to remove the “junk†is backbreaking and time-consuming, but there’s no other way to do it. Finally, after months of hard work the dry dock is flooded with water, the gates open, and the big vessel heads out to sea and back into the profit column. Writing to the believers at Corinth, Paul says, “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves.†(2 Co 13:5 NKJV) Let’s be honest; it’s easier to examine your neighbor than to examine yourself, or to talk about what you once accomplished rather than what you’re accomplishing now. Are you slowing down? Are you losing spiritual momentum? Are you in the profit or loss column? You’ll find the answer under the waterline where only God and you can see. Carelessness, a critical spirit, compromise, conformity to the world, and coldness of heart: that’s the “junk†that builds up and slows you down. These are the subtle sins you must deal with in order to be everything God called you to be and enjoy the blessings He has in store for you. (The Word For You Today ©2014 CE)

 

“A thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me.†(2 Co 12:7 NKJV)

WHEN THE ANSWER ISN’T WHAT YOU WANT

Paul isn’t referring to the kind of “thorn†you find on rosebushes, but a sharp, pointed stake that inflicts pain. And the word “buffet†means “to render blow after blow after blow.†This makes his next statement all the more amazing: “I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in.. .touch with my limitations. . .I. . .begged God to remove it. Three times . . . then he told me, ‘My grace is . . . all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness. Once I heard that . . . l quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. . .Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer. . .I just let Christ take over!†(vv. 7-10 TM). Paul responded to his thorny situations by doing six things:
(1) Admitting he needed God’s strength.
(2) Asking, even begging, for God’s help.
(3) Accepting the answer when God said no.
(4) Appreciating it as “a gift.â€
(5) Acting with confidence and continuing to fulfill his mission.
(6) Acknowledging that the problem allowed God to work through him.

When the driving force within Paul had been redirected by God, he wrote: “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.†(Gal 2:20 NIV). Paul’s will had been taken to the torture stake and nailed there. Now he operated in the will of God and no longer questioned the path or the price. That’s the place God wants to bring you to!

 

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger.†(Eph 4:31 NIV)

RELEASE YOURSELF FROM BITTERNESS (1)
​

Anger is often the product of frustrated expectations. We expect something, and when we don’t get it we end up disappointed and angry. And our anger leads to a dysfunctional personal, spiritual, and relational lifestyle. Frustrated expectations are often rooted in early experiences with our parents, siblings, and authority figures. Perhaps our need for love, acceptance, security, and significance were never met; then later we experienced broken commitments in marriage, business, and friendships. Ultimately, smoldering anger becomes a weapon in our arsenal, threatening to hurt everything and everybody we care about. We become bitter people-avoided, excluded, and lonely. God instructs us to “get rid of all bitterness,†so that “no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.†(Heb 12:15 NIV). How do we obey His command?

(1) By accepting and acting on His Word. Without a Scriptural foundation, old emotions will repeatedly undermine your efforts to overcome them. “Get rid of all bitterness†is an order that implies the promise of success when you obey it.

(2) By choosing to be released from bitterness. Choice isn’t an emotion, and it doesn’t require an emotional response. God won’t control your emotions, but neither will He let them influence Him. Believing God’s Word and making the choice to obey it always result in success. So start strengthening your will and your faith. How? By choosing to obey God in spite of your feelings! Practice this every day until it becomes a lifestyle. Then instead of being mastered by your moods, you’ll find yourself “reigning in life.â€
(see Ro 5:17), no longer controlled by your negative emotions. ©2014 CE

“See to it that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble.†(Heb 12:15 NIV)

RELEASE YOURSELF FROM BITTERNESS (2)
​

Releasing yourself from bitterness calls for:
(1) Choosing to forgive. “Forgive one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ forgave you.†(Eph 4:32 TM). Whether or not the person who hurt you apologizes, is dead or alive, or is still hurting you, your only option is forgiveness. By forgiving, you set yourself free to enjoy life.

(2) Releasing the wrongdoer from all expectations. By changing your expectations, you reclaim your peace of mind. Whether or not the other person changes is his or her business—move on! Requiring a certain response keeps you bound to them. Paul says, “Christ has set us free
to live a free life. . .Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you.†(Gal 5:1 TM).

(3) Transferring to God all expectations for your needs. His Word says, “God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.†(Php 4:19 NAS). Note the word “all.†God can supply the people, resources, and opportunities you need to live a joyful life.

(4) Asking God to bless your offender. Yes, it’s difficult, but Jesus said, “Love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!†(Mt 5:44 NLT). That kind of prayer puts you in the driver’s seat of your life.

(5) Doing something nice for your offender. Ask God how you can bless them. “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will . . .conquer evil by doing good.†(Ro 12:20-21 NLT).

“Encouraged ... by ... mutual faith.†Ro 1 :12 NKJV

THREE THINGS WE OWE EACH OTHER
​

Paul talks about three things we owe each other. Let’s look at them:
(1) “Without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers.†(v. 9 NKJV). An unknown poet wrote, “I was a poor soul in the depth of despair, who climbed to the heights in answer to prayer.†You an show no greater love and concern for someone than to say, “I’m praying for you,†and do it! Prayer invites God into the situation and authorizes the forces of heaven to go to work and bring change.
(2) “I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established.†(v. 11 NKJV). What did Paul long for? The chance to strengthen his fellow believers, and he was willing to travel a long way at great personal risk to do it. When two people decide to recognize and nurture the God-given gifts in each other, not only are they blessed personally, everybody around them benefits too.
(3) “That I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.†Notice the words “encouraged†and “mutual faith.†There are powerful dynamics at work here! First, we pray for one another. Second, we recognize and nurture God’s gifts in one another. Third, we unite our faith and focus on a shared goal. Jesus said: “If two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.†(Mt 18:19-20 NKJV). ©2014 CE

I thought you had sincere questions and I was willing to help you. Now you say you know all and that holy spirit teaches you and it told you not to listen to men or what is written on paper. I suppose it was infact a evil spirit, and saying what is written on paper, he had in mind also the Bible, but did not say it strait forward. If a spirit told me like that, that's how I would have understood it.
