    Greetings brothers and sisters,

In our last Livestream, Daniel 12:4 came up in our discussion, and I had the opportunity to look into it a little further. I had always intended to after hearing many differing commentaries on this verse over the years.

What I have discovered is astounding!

"But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Daniel 12:4 ESV

"They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; they shall run to and fro, to seek the word of the LORD, but they shall not find it." Amos 8:12 ESV

Amos eight speaks of a time after the daily sacrifice is removed when the preaching work ceases, and the people will be looking for the Word of God.

"Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord GOD, “when I will send a famine on the land—not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD." Amos 8:11 ESV

And as verse twelve tells us, they are running to and fro in the search for His words.

This is in like manner as what is spoken of in Daniel twelve. In that scripture, Daniel tells us he is speaking of the time of the end when these run to and fro. They do so in the effort of looking for the words of God after the daily sacrifice is removed, and our Lord has made a famine in the land of His Word.

Since this is the case, the "knowledge will increase" must refer to the words of God as well. This allows for biblical conceptual flow. So then, these look for God's words after the daily sacrifice when our Lord causes a famine of biblical knowledge, at which point true knowledge and the unsealing of Daniel will occur. The knowledge that will increase is the unsealing of Daniel and the truth of biblical prophecy in the time of the end. Likely as outlined by the two witnesses.

We know this because of biblical precedence. In Jeremiah, we see the exact same verbiage of running to and fro in the search of the words of God.

"Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, look and take note! Search her squares to see if you can find a man, one who does justice and seeks truth, that I may pardon her." Jeremiah 5:1 ESV

Now, here is the amazing part! The capstone/plumbline before Joshua and Zerubbabel in Zechariah chapters three and four contains the seven eyes of the Lord running to and fro throughout the whole earth!

"For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the LORD, Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.” Zechariah 4:10 KJV

The word in the KJV here as scan is the Hebrew word yə·šō·ṭə·ṭū, and is the same word used in Daniel 12:4, Zechariah 4:10 and Amos 8:12 and depicts the running or the traveling in each location.

The stone before Joshua represents the words of God and the very iteration of all prophecy. And this is what will increase in knowledge in the time of the end when it runs to and fro, and the book of Daniel is unsealed.

    All love...
