Apparently it's going to be fairly easy to make religious practice illegal / banned, when the supposed "Republican constitutional" party will without hesitation agree (at least, it's adherents, who largely are supporting Trump now) that banning an entire group based on religion is a "good thing". This is extremely disturbing; and in case you haven't read the news in the last few days, Donald Trump is calling for a ban on Muslims entering the US, en masse. It's not hard to see where this goes ..

Trump is a swaggerer and has definitely a very populist stance. His speeches are nothing more than verbal diarrhea and the people applaud his show as if what he says were amazing. In the USA, you don't need djihadists to be the victim of terror attacks since you already slaughter yourselves by the hundreds each year. You'd better fear the bullets that the real guy next door might shoot at you than the hypothetical djihadist having traveled incognito thousands of miles just to blow himself up right besides you while you're sniffing for a ripe melon in your nearest Target shop.... You know it doesn't matter to most people what the numbers are. It's all about what's in the prime time news. People turn on the TV or internet and believe what is written. So saying you are more at risk because of gun ownership today has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Besides the NRA would never allow gun ownership to become an issue. I don't think most people even understand how many firearms US citizens actually own. There are 112 firearms to every 100 person. The US has half the guns on the planet. In my opinion if he does get elected, what he says will happen.
That's totally inapplicable ! How will you determine the religion of the many millions of people who hit the US ground each year ? Will you ask them before granting them a visa ? What guarantee will you have that they don't lie ? Will you set up a booth at each and every international airport, harbour in the world and border checkpoint neighbouring the USA with ham, saucisson and cured ham so you can be sure that Mr Mohamed Al-so-and-so hasn't lied when he said that he was a Christian.... unless you want him to sing Ave Maria or to cross himself in front of you ? I wouldn't comply either... What of the converts, the converts who have become Christian and the Christians who have become Muslim ? I repeat, that's totally inapplicable ! ...and I haven't broached yet the economic cost and loss of such measures.... That's mere hot air!

Agreed, it is hot air. The conceptual precedent is what is interesting; and how quickly American's will seemingly hyperventilate and have unreasoned reactions. Agreed, the US is not rational at all as a group. I don't think people outside this country really understand that. Americans are concerned with the cheeseburger in front of them and the baseball game they need to get too. The news is like a popularity contest, one story becomes the main topic for days regardless of the rational.

A Bloomberg poll when asked if they support his comments on banning muslims from entering this country, 65% of Republican voters said yes! 22% opposed! People around the world should understand and watch what's going on here. These are some serious matters. The media is very corrupt, and the people are very fed up with it. The media wants to tell people what to think, yet those who think for themselves are tired of the media speaking for them, and first and foremost are tired of political correctness, this is why Trump is doing so well. If this man becomes president of the United States of America it seems quite likely he would accomplish such a thing. This would begin the start of the time of the end, effecting this entire planet. The richest country in the history of the world, the largest and most powerful military the world has ever known, and as you said SingleCell, throw in boardroom and activism led by freedom and you have a very dangerous mix.

Hello, here I am. Trump the fierce-looking king. Think if somebody would suggest Trump to propose to ban Jehovah's witnesses preaching. Surely Trump could gain a lot of support for that. He could regard that as a smart move to get more votes. This is serious. But it is also very exciting because we can now expect the approximate timeframe for Jesus' second coming.
Trump is smart. He knows what disturbs the majority. Illigal immigration, gangs, Muslims, special interests in politics, banks, mainstream media etc. And he seems to dislike those also personally. So by attacking those smaller groups he gets the majority's support.
