    THE ORNAMENT

    THE ORNAMENT

For you I've awaited a lifetime
    in whose heart is clarity
every virtue in you is realized
    individual traits of a rarity

    Your foresight understands ages
    like gems your facets reflect
    every spectrum covered rainbow
in the things you did not neglect

You have focused upon the real life
sought the finest treasures to find
found the path to eternal glory
your approval by God kept in mind

Every essence of your person I savor
like sweet smelling smoke of incense
you have kept your garments of whiteness
and washed your hands in innocence

In every course followed your Master
did seek every lesson he taught
applied them with skill and precision
and reigned in your every thought

You listened to every Word spoken
and dug into the mysteries ground
wrote them upon the flesh of heart
your possessions as they were bound

You have removed all that's discordant
polished every jewel to a shine
placed them in a filigreed setting
the traits that will last for all time

How carefully you took in instruction
each quality conformed to what's right
did arrange a garment worth wearing
    each quality lustrous in light

Your baring of it's graces are lovely
within your heart there lay no fraud
    I've exalted you with rejoicing
You have put on the Love of our God

    1Cor 2:
    Wisdom from the Spirit
6 Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. 7 But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But, as it is written,“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love himâ€￾—10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. 11 For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. 13 And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.[d]
14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 15 Thespiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. 16 “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?â€￾ But we have the mind of Christ.

    Philippians 2
    English Standard Version (ESV)
    Christ's Example of Humility
2 So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, 2 complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. 3 Do nothing from selfish ambition orconceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,[a] 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
    Lights in the World
12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

    Oh Israel perfect in prettiness
your own mother cast you out
    and your brothers oppress you

But I have delighted in you
    shielded you from their malice
    separated you for myself
covered you with my own radiance
and betrothed you to my Son

You are the jewels of the Crown
    I have worked my work
as a refiner burned away your dross
and made you more precious than gold

I will send for you with the chariots of your King
ten thousand times ten thousands your retinue
    those who hated you
    will see you glorified

For I myself have decreed it
I will lift you up before the nations
    just a little while
take courage I myself will strengthen you
and the Son of my Love will guide you
with you the treasury will complete

and the wealth of the nations mine

Hold fast to the things you have
for my reward is with me
I will make you not ashamed
for the former things will pass away
and all things created new in you

    Amen come Lord Jesus

    ESSENCE OF lOVE

    ESSENCE OF LOVE

As I bow in heartfelt genuflection
    to think upon the Greeks
    who divined four words
    for Love and it's reflection

Agape is the highest form divine
with selfless care for those who are mine
It's fruit is known by what I do
and building all the parts of you

    phileo is brotherly affection
the natural friendship and it's connection
storge the love that resides in family
    within instinct and it's propensity

Eros seems to be most appreciated
never have I found it one who's hated
Two sides to Eros have manifested
both sides has mankind ever tested

Lust and the table of the self
or love of mate and pleasure in it's wealth
All of us has been given this in measure
the dispensing of it can give us pleasure

But rapture is contained when all four live
when we with complete heart choose to give
all of us the truth within resisted
but knowledge of it ever has persisted

to teach us which we are to exercise
the breath of spirit which within us lies
will direct upon us our course and path
and when we pass love is our epitaph

    SIN AND FORGIVENESS

    SIN AND FORGIVENESS

You know and have seen all I have done
and made me view all one by one
my own iniquity so clearly I see
What possible value can you find in me

Words I have spoken that caused others pains
deeds not worth speaking who's knowledge remains
How many times have I others failed
against the treatment by so many I railed

Oh Lord have you seen all that I am
each deed in the life that do I span
remove from me all vanity and lies
and all my own actions that I so despise

Chasten me not in your hot displeasure
for the words of your law are the things that I treasure
Day and night I consider your laws
things of my failings that so give me pause

I reel within since you've opened my eyes
and the self delusion who was my disguise
I fear to think of what I might find
If I could see clearly with sight of your mind

I bow beneath the sins I discovered
with praise and thanks to know they are covered
My feet had slipped into the path of sinners
My heart was cold for so many winters

Years I have your understanding sought
since the first time I knew I was bought
like a repurchaser in ancient times
out of slavery who's chains defines

The sources of waters and light that gives life
with betrothment to your Son I am wife
with forgiveness you have my heart won
a gift you've created for the heart of your Son

May I always to your Loves wisdom listen
within the world this was what was missing
over and over you have proved yourself loyal
May I never by actions the truth of it spoil

    ABODES

    ABODES

    There isn't a place I haven't abode
a river mansion or a tree by the road
in a multitude of places not our home
from commune havens to being alone

Was cold and hungry and lived on the street
with two small children and nothing to eat
I asked you to care and you threw us away
erased all my words despised what I say

We've slept in the fields and a bus stop bench
none who cared to help when in a pinch
I've seen men at their worst and their best
the crazy ones who took us in as their guest

Lived in house that had no doors
got one now by the oceans shores
I have lived with plenty and without a dime
the people I remember gave us their time

The sectarian churches have I attended
but so few hearts their revivals amended
no sect can save you when you stand before God
if you haven't learned love your thoughts still flawed

I've been coast to coast livin' on the street
the stories I can tell bout the people we meet
the cars that stopped with sacks for a meal
so the children had milk and oranges to peel

I've been close to heaven definitely hell
felt the sleep of death for preference dwell
the most important lesson I ever learned
it is by the forge my wisdom earned

I've read the Bible so many times
stories of love and hate for hearts reminds
what a man would do to acquire affection
cave to opinions to avoid rejection

I know I will always consider you
knowing I don't know what you've been through
you can rest assured I'm here to learn
my choices are the only ones I can turn

I could wax eloquent on prophecy
but like Paul don't matter if loves not in me
to every kind of learning sold my soul
but if you don't count my hearts not whole

So much in life we have to consider
experiences that can help or hinder
the so called guidance that many teach
a whole new Talmud do they preach

Funny thing in the Word of God
they were royalty or in sandals shod
one can never judge by their appearance
by their outside to truths adherence

I read every mythology by grade seven
all their thoughts bout hell and heaven
the Bible teaches that death is sleep
    till the resurrections judgments keep

If you don't examine all things taught
you won't know the lies that live in thought
if you think you already know all truth
and that learning is only sought in youth

When you've unraveled the knowledge of the universe
and fully apprehend and can death reverse
when you are perfect and my attention demand
and like my Lord extend understand

I'll always give a care bout who you are
but if Loves not your teacher you're not my STAR
if you don't seek love for earths family
what possible connection could you find in me

1John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

    Luke 10:
30 In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii[e] and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’
36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?â€
37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.â€

Rev 1:19 “Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. 20 The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

    TALENTS

    TALENTS

God gives those who to him are dear
the gifts of holy spirit when they draw near
it gives one understanding of what the scriptures mean
conquering power and strength to keep Life clean

Seek our Father does like Jesus to have us live
trust in his Word submit our hearts do give
how can one ever hope to reflect his Light
when the world is ensconced thick darkness of night

Transformation does occur by faith to believe
this the opening power of spiritual gifts you receive
fellowship with Father Jesus sought to share
you cannot receive it without ability to care

The dividing force between the tares and wheat
what exists within your heart it's rulership does seat
searching is the True God for hearts just like his Son
lovers of justice peace and truth seeks he suchlike one

To gird you with ability where divinity can grow
the putting on of his mind and have you them to know
what profit is the world who only outward show
who use you up till empty then throw away and go

With Love God wants to fill you and never take away
to shelter feed and clothe you with fullness everyday
take you into his household filled with tenderness
never want you to suffer or his fondness ever miss

The adversaries intent is to lead you into sin
to practice what is harmful and feel bad within
torment you and afflict your heart with guilt
always tear you down never letting you be built

Beautiful is virtue and brilliant does it shine
the Lord seeks to polish you make your setting fine
treasure you like something precious where within you store
all your wealth and riches are to stay for ever more

What gain is there to you if for money you only care
where does it benefit if you never learn to share
it's your choice of what within heart does reside
draw upon your talents and increase you would he guide

Love is the binding power that does family unify
upon which the Sons of God their Father glorify
for God has shed his talents within the hearts of men
getting to know Them is where ones Life begin

    THE FORGE

I remember the beach sand and swing
when you and mother were still something
I remember the ducks in the lake
you held my hand watching their wake
I remember the sheep dogs when the day was through
and the mornings grass all covered with dew
I remember the dead man and blood on the floor
my hand in my mothers as she went for the door
I remember the stairs I thought I'd fall through
and the building where she was hidden from you
she tried drowning me in the bath and the tub
her hands on my throat on the dining room rug
the pain of the walls where my body flew
the floor of the closet when she was through
I remember you entering the door
as you picked up my body from off the floor
the words were so ugly I've forgotten them now
but things haven't changed much anyhow
I remember the willows and switches not few
a home not mine and the children were new
a string of families never seeming to end
the abuse and the beatings I'm not on the mend
I remember the the rage and the red flushed face
what did I do to fall from your grace
I remember the fear when I tried to hide
the man and the 2by4 when it hit my side
the bruise and welts with noone to care
my mother and father aren't even there
I remember the family that took me in
they had no daughter just two young men
one boy was loving the other was slime
but the parents protected me most of the time
I was safe for awhile with nightmares not few
and some of my demons she helped to slew
I remember you taking me home at last
you had remarried some six months past
I remember the woman was cruel and mean
she remained that way till I was sixteen
At fifteen I had been already raped twice
the drugs and pills and the wrist yet to slice
I remember the the police to the hospital sped
the straight jacket and thorazine I should have been dead
I remember the airplane that sent me away
with my half brothers mother I was to stay
my neck with a forearm pinned to the wall
my half brothers brother screaming he will have all
I remember the screaming as I flew down the stairs
his violence had caught me totally unawares
the pain as he smashed me on the walls of the hall
the kicks in the ribs after my fall
the nine months I walked in a state of fear
how I passed my classes is very unclear
I remember the man when I hitched into town
the car was a sedan of dirty brown
the doors had no handles no way to get out
he pulled out a knife and proceeded to shout
how he would cut me and make me bleed
if I didn't fill some sort of need
how I grabbed the wheel for steering the car
when he slammed on the brakes down the road not far
when he slid out the door by the side of the road
it seemed to me that all time had slowed
he released me with curses not language unknown
from the cage of his car this bird had flown
I remember the man preaching justice and truth
but to find answers one must become sleuth
I remember the marriage and I made him swear
that to hit or harm me he must never dare
I remember the baby with curls of gold
by seventeen to marriage my father me sold
I remember the lapses of time I had lost
the forge of my youth and the price it had cost
the thread that kept me alive was so thin
in my mind it was always me against him
I remember the children that helped keep me sane
with some sort of focus with the man I had lain
I remember the striving for some sort of truth
what kind of a mother my children had in their youth
I remember it all so plain and clear
that violence from men will always be near
I swore at sixteen no child to have
if you couldn't play safely with joy and a laugh
forgive me my children for bringing you here
the reasons I do things are sometimes not clear
My parents are gone and I do not mourn
but only for the life I was never shown
I did try to spare you the same kind of fate
I hoped that my love would be never to late
I had no control of the time or the chance
that injustice would look upon you with his glance
I raise my eyes to the heavens and vent to his name
to save all the children who are yet put thru shame
In a blast furnace my life has been forged
the tool of the hammer has formed my discourse
in molten metal I have been shaped
the tool of another I have not escaped
what of the purpose he hopes to hew
a piece of equipment all shiny and new
I remember my maker and the state of his grace
the road laid before me and the words of his face
the view of my nature he seeks to tame
with so many others who walk in the flame
in wails united to pull heaven down
and with its brightness scour the ground
his promise to do so has not yet passed
when all of mankind will feel his blast
the call has gone forth the meaning is clear
to give an accounting is so very near
those who think themselves high shall be made low
the dust of the earth their destined to know
the one that I follow has carved out the path
his star has shown brightly beneath thorn and the lash
I reach my arm forth to take hold his hand
to walk among humans woman and man
he paints a clear future for those of us all
a paradise lost to man in his fall

    REASON AND DESIRE

    REASON AND DESIRE

well this one loses its frame also , original link /https://www.facebook.com/notes/michael-miller/reason-and-desire/10151194907525981

Covered with your mantle you spirited me away
that form held my emotion held me in its sway
herefore you could view me soul as clear as glass
wish do I its movements desire never it to pass

vision upon vision opened mine eyes to see
need to build this life for all of humanity
I want to take your hand and lead you to the door
fill you with inspiration and lift you even more

I can build a ballroom much greater in my mind
dance upon marbled floors the room I did design
where the frames are gilded with silver and with gold
here the strings of harps the listeners ears enfold

I want to take every pain from you away
and when you wake tomorrow for nothing more to pray
want you to understand I wrote this just for you
ever seek your happiness where Love's unbroken true

I never want you lingering in the house of vain
I want to see you dancing with joy in life's refrain
to paint with every color and play with every hue
to wake with a song in heart and share the things you do

If I could but reach you and your spirit mend
shelter all your feelings your life would I defend
I would give you blue skies the mists of gentle rain
flowers in the springtime an earth that's rich in grain

But someone has already given all these gifts
meant them for everyone and not as man permits
but you must keep seeking to fill yourself in kind
always to be generous in actions and in mind

To find a fluent master who can teach you the right way
examine all of learning apply it in every day
from a little seedling did the tree of knowledge grow
until you can reach for life and the beauty of it know

When you think your well is empty
and the depths within are dry
get up and seek the water
    and to its sources fly

    don't linger in the darkness
    and traditions that are blind
    in life to be exalting
but you its paths must find

Life is a kind of music
    and fathomless its array
    it takes time and practice
to master the chords you'll play

    Take in life's instruction
examine all in it that's good
make your heart and mind the temple
    and its teachings understood

    FULL SIGHT

    FULL SIGHT

I want to see you in full glory
your shining brightness and justice to prevail
the healing of the human condition
the new earth there after its travail

I want to see the resurrection happen
the restoration of the hearts of man
where instead of destruction there'll be planting
a garden paradise that you have planned

A perfect standard for all humans
where each and every one can reach their joy
the time when the curse is lifted
side by side their talents will employ

where you have clothed us with the sun
and placed the moon beneath our feet
placed upon our head a crown of stars
and every morning you do us greet

Words of affection flow like a river
whose waters overflow its every shore
I can hear your voice calling me
and every day my desires more

All the time you speak of wonders
the majesty in all you see
the time for finding all their secrets
and placing them in the heart of we

So far away yet in heart remain
and your call to be joined like bride
What God has joined are together
where we are working side by side

Upon the throne you are our King
and we have been chosen just for you
for only will those see your home
who have been those faithful true

You never weary of our need for you
or remind us of all our flaws
your patience with our slow learning
while we learn how to trim our claws

you are everything we could hope for
surpassing gentle unfailing to your core
there is not a soul here who is your equal
    endearment your expressions
and how we long for more

You have led me beside the azure seas
to see the crimson coral of the fallen leaves
so like the rainbows that exist within our kin
the colors that lay upon our souls within

There drifts our souls in the shades and hue
where we slip the streams of the colors blue
or light their soul in softest shades of yellow
when in company as delighted companions fellow

Or quietly lay in shells still and tinged of pale grey
like the clouds that hang within the low of day
or to climb the hills the foliage with its glistening sheen
are painted trees and meadows in the depths of green

Here in life the blooms that every spectrum see
and offered us its view the veneer of eternity
and not so transparent the crystals of our glass
and our lives the shadows of the pigments cast

The cosmetic gloss that we can wear like makeup
that dyes the actions which our souls we take up
some like varnish are just cover for what is dull
like the iron and the steel that contains our hull

But the tints that wash and stain our soil
can be the colors swirling within the gleams of oil
where they run together as the eddy's in the water
there each soul its colors is contained a single star

    THRONE OF MY HEART

    THRONE OF MY HEART

Always know God will come before you
for you cannot save me from the things that I do
Where I fail and where I fall down
only God can lift and give me a crown

Though I may love you with all of my heart
the path to truth Jesus gave me my start
the only reason I can see you now
because my will to the Lord do I bow

Sodom and Egypt is where I was raised
the death of Love was wasted away
Like the children and Moses was I a slave there
only for comfort of body did care

The beauty men sought was only skin deep
In the cage of their slavery sought my soul to keep
To find my freedom my soul ran away
In the wilderness with God sought to stay

Upon the mountains and by waters shore
there he showed me what was in store
with his command my mouth was to speak
But so like Moses my voice is so weak

Move you do me through those who lie cheat and steal
those who's heart lost capacity to feel
Know I will you leave behind
if the Word of God within do not find

The eyes of God so search the earth
for those who will receive new birth
He will produce a people who are clean
who will rule with Jesus over everything

He will cleanse a land polluted
remove from it those who truth diluted
those who Love he will purify
remove from the earth all those who lie

When you want to master Love

    and for its understanding yearn
where can you turn to find
    its instruction completely learn

    What qualities of personality
    how can we them perceive
    the development of its attributes
and its teachings in depth receive

All of its traits and character
    when displayed be plainly seen
all its actions words and deeds
to be realized in mankind's being

When you seek for her as silver
and for its prize sell all you own
when you know that it is priceless
the only place you can call home

    Whatever mankind has treasured
and the things that they value
can never fill its purchase price
can only be a gift that's given you

All mankind has sought its face
    an unfulfilled obsession
no money or wealth can buy her
    or make her your possession

    The things contained within her
    are surpassing excellence
    more purified than refined gold
    reflects loves exceeding brilliance

    She is the master setting
    her attributes Divine
    an exquisite master crafting
    and faultless by design

    She is the perfect partner
    to the lawgiver and judge
those made fit to rule the nations
will from their tenets never budge

    She is forever Faithful
    Her loyalty always True
    inestimable is her Value
God made this gift for you

Hear their voices heed their cries
behind closed doors their terror lies
he left the stage and the public talk
but when home its principles mock

Day to day they live in fear
he's such a good man his children dear
but in truth he's Jeckel and Hyde
for acid are his inners and sugar outside

They dream as children for a fathers hug
but in private their back to the rug
the pain and conflict have left their mark
for current is hopeless and the future dark

He said they'd not believe you true
and thought a liar you would be
should you expose him and what he do
and what he started at age of three

The place where they were broken
should have been a safety zone
where the tenets of love are spoken
    but empty of practice home

    Rocks hidden in the rivers
    but turbulence not rare
    just beneath its surface
    with the children drowning there

    If you require another witness
    get the children that exam
    the dna would **** them
    publicly remove that harmful man

Why do you whip the victim
    and let the culprit free
    the results from the doctor
    would condemn him publicly

No shepherd of the flock is good
if he not protects the sheep
by oath you are bound to "truth"
and the commands your owner keep

    The perpetrator by God convicted
but the shepherd who does not
pursue the "truth" will be exposed
    his negligence will be caught

    CLOCK

In the vast beauty and diversity
of the reaches of the cosmos
    impresses upon us all
the shear minute dust we are
    in any comparison
    The simplicity of laws
    that govern it's most basic
    and complex movements
    Birth , Life , Death
some would distain this as "circular"
as the patterns in creation are
for all things existing within its confines
the birth , life , death of stars , galaxies
entropy and the recirculation of those elements
    into new structures encased
in the womb for new material
apply equally to the diversity of structures
cycling on the little blue marble
    seed sprout bush tree seed
    seed sprout plant flower seed
    seed baby child adult seed
same down on the cellular level
same down to the atomic level
    and its clock
in a state of perfectly circular self propagation
For those who foolishly accuse us of being

    CIRCULAR

Let me explain a simple something
how we measure time in the cosmos

is based on a circular orbital movement of planets
    and stars
    and as for thinking
are questions seeking answers which just
    lead to more questions

and that's the beauty of it

    simplicity defines even the most
    complex systems that function

right down to the circuit boards for computers
    and technology

    Mama seals it with Kiss
    Keep it simple stupid

    anyone who doesn't know
a clock embedded in the universe
    has not recognized his own

    Ecc 8:17
9:3 This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all.The hearts of people, moreover, are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterward they join the dead. 4 Anyone who is among the living has hope even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!
5 For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing;they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten.6 Their love, their hate and their jealousy have long since vanished;never again will they have a part in anything that happens under the sun.
7 Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do. 8 Always be clothed in white, and always anoint your head with oil. 9 Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love, all the days of this meaningless life that God has given you under the sun—all your meaningless days. For this is your lot in life and in your toilsome labor under the sun. 10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom

    Labyrinth

Harps peel like ballads on the wind
notes of love songs like arias descend
to bath our hearts with the highest adoration
reflections of your love and its restoration

Granting a view of majesty in our days
glimpses into the kingdom and the life you'll raise
our love whose perfection moved be we to seek
the tender hearts bestowed upon the meek

So soft aloft as the finest down
a cushion of comfort as a silken gown
polished like gems found upon a crown
glory in your history of the Son renown

Chosen and called the formation of the Bride
exclusive devotion the reason Jesus died
to stand with him upon the temple mount
counted precious whom did the world surmount

Highly prized a standard of perfect measure
in the hearts of men have poured eternal treasure
immersed by the spirit those you will disclose
every proven one your own father chose

No longer live among the gravel and the rock
only you know the final choosing of the flock
we only know our preparations in the race
only those who finish get to see your face

Fallen so many into the web of lies
the religions dispensed by angels in disguise
beloved Daniel world kingdoms did you gaze
the war of the fallen and of those of praise

We upon the footstool can only see the feet
a world divided iron and clay its seat
what will you find when you regain the throne
those taking the rents their devastations known

Upon the children empty world and fallow
who know no majesty or what they should hallow
into the labyrinth and constructed maze
a dream land fog of technological haze

Those days I think I am truly fried
every quality that's good and hid inside has died
a net and trap seeking me to tease
the lure of temporary happiness to please

And death the only freedom from this war
to grasp at love and hatred to abhor
a virtual war of my flesh and mind
its unfortunate I am no longer blind

Fool was I who prayed that I could see
and found out my own nature lacks harmony
a thousand years a solitary tree may live
to those I love would die this them to give

Job found himself in a life defaulted
could not know the lesson him exalted
every man since our beginning broken
every prophet of the perfect one has spoken

So while I acknowledge my own depth of flaw
it is knowledge of the holy one upon I draw
there is a righteousness from him that I await
I desire it will overcome a world of hate

My will to the common wealth do bow
to cherish my family on this earth anyhow
One Lord , one Love to reign the earth supreme
plant in our hearts the love you wish to bring

1John3 :1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.

    PREPARATION

    PREPARATION

    The preparation has begun
    gifts are being gathered
    the invitations have been sent
and the collections of sweet things
    and things desirable and pretty
the wedding feast for your Son

    you have robed him
    with the garments of Glory
and fitted a government fit for a King

    the grain is being gathered
    into the storehouse
and their bread shall never perish
the blood of the grapes soon
    to be crushed

rejoice you guests and clothe yourselves
with garments fit for the wedding of the King
    he has purified his bride
and arrayed her with costly robes
those things that only the Son can give

the chariots too he has prepared
to bring her into his kingdom

Rejoice oh heaven and all who dwell there
    and habitation of nations
In majestic splendor will they enter
    The eternal Tabernacle
    built without hands
    to bring your praises
    oh Most Sovereign Lord Jehovah

Cyrano de Bergerac, Act 2 Scene 2

And what should we do ?
Look for a powerful protector, choose a patron,
And like the dark ivy that goes around the trunk
And uses it as a support by licking its bark,
Climb thanks to ruse instead of thanks to strength ?
No, gramercy ! Dedicate, as they all do,
Verses to bankers ? Turn into a buffon
In the vile hope to see, on Minister's lips,
A nascent smile, well, one that may not be sinister ?
No, gramercy ! Eat, each day, a toad ?
Have a belly worn because of crawling ? A skin
That, quicker around the knees, gets dirty ?
Perform supple acts with my back... ?
No, gramercy ! Pat the goat's neck with one hand
Whilst watering the cabbage with the other,
And give senna for wishes of rhubarb in return,
Have one's censer, always, around some beards ?
No, gramercy ! Rush oneself from lap to lap,
Become a little big man in a circle,
And navigate with madrigals as oars,
And as breeze in one's sails, old ladies' sighs ?
No, gramercy ! To the good editor in Sercy
Pay to have one's verses published ? No, gramercy !
Be appointed as pope in councils
Which in inns idiots organise ?
No, gramercy ! Toil to become a name
Just through a sonnet, instead of writing others ?
No, gramercy ! Find talent only in no-hopers ?
    Be scared by mere windbags,
And tell oneself endlessly : "Oh ! I wish I were
In the Mercure François' good books"... ?
No, gramercy ! Calculate, be scared, be pale
Prefer a visit to a poem,
Write petitions, be introduced by others ?
No, gramercy ! No, gramercy ! No, gramercy ! But... sing,
Dream, laugh, walk around, be alone, be free
Have an observant eye, a resonating voice,
Cock one's fedora to the side, just because one feel like it,
Fight over a mere trifle - or turn a rhyme !
Work without thinking about fame or fortune,
To make come true a certain travel, which we contemplate, to the moon !
Never write a line that is not one's own,
And then, with modesty, tell oneself : Sonny,
Make do with the flowers, the fruits, and even the leaves,
If that is in your garden that you may pick them
And then, if by happenstance success may come,
Not having to give credit back to Caesar,
But keeping the merit all your own,
In short, disdaining to be the parasitic ivy,
Even though one isn't the oak or the lime,
Not going up very high, maybe, but single-handedly !

    You have set your Lamp
in the camp of the holy ones
    cleansed and purified for service
    the selection devoted to Temple
have set the placement of stones
and prepared a house made for praise
    that your glory may become
manifest to all the national groups
    the triumph of your unfailing
Love for the children of men
    in rejoicing and righteousness
    Words of healing will flow
as the rivers of the torrent valleys
    exaltation will rise like mountains
the eyes of all hearts be opened
    understanding will fill the tables
    and the knowledge of God
    will cover the earth
as the waters cover the sea
you will be sought by the nations
    Who will not rejoice over
    the coronation of the King
    Who will not exalt
    in the Sovereignty of Love
    Who will deny its superiority
    over all other ways
    All those hating Life
    will fall before you
    They will disappear
before the glory of your brightness
    Arise oh King of Glory
For God , even your own God
    has crowned you with gladness
    and exaltation among your companions
Your Light shines as the Sun
generosity like the mists of Eden
    happiness covers the faces
    of all those loving you

    How could I not praise
the one my God has blessed
    and given you a name
    that excels every name addressed
    How could I not exalt
the riches in you I see
    the one who never faltered
    to serve God flawlessly
    no brilliance in the universe
    shines as bright as you
    the fullness of what's God
    fully demonstrated True

Amen , come oh King of Glory

    Isaiah 62 ...

    Rev 19
The Heavenly Warrior Defeats the Beast
11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, whiteand clean. 15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.â€￾ He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, 18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.â€￾

Luke 12:27 “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin.
Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and
tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith!

1Pet 2:19 For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering
because they are conscious of God.20 But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating
for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is
commendable before God. 21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you,
leaving you an model, that you should follow in his steps.

Isaiah 61:10 I delight greatly in יהוה ; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has
clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

WHAT you are clothed with is important ...

    INSTRUMENTS OF LOVE

I recite your name in the whispers of the wind
for bonded to my heart are you until the end
I lifted the chalice drank deeply of its wine
I felt of its effects the fullness of divine

Like the chords of piano and dulcimers delight
your melodies do waft through every thought at night
a master plays the chords a violin with strings
plays my heart like a harp whose music on it rings

Your fingers play me like the stroke of piano keys
every touch I enjoy your heart it aims to please
you are a symphony whose chords have touched my heart
a birth cries transmission of transformation every part

Songs like an aria may yet I learn to sing
whose vocals resonate the inmost of my being
You left no line untouched no strand is mine alone
made sure you did I knew would make you me your own

Somewhere I lost myself I gave it all to you
things I don't understand reasons appear askew
I inhale you my breathe to deepest parts within
need you to embrace me as close as your own skin

We retire together speak 'neath the baleful skies
of every trial in life and those who live in lies
greet me in the morning curl around me at night
sing to me of love songs of futures very bright

The wedding of my heart tears away my mind
I want to forever hold you for all of time
Are not your words a bath that removes the worlds dirt
a balm of medicine to heal the deepest hurt

Its surpassing sweetness a palate of good taste
love so intoxicating no drop will go to waste
the adversary's here and tramples the flowers
but you oh my beloved too freely roam my hours

My life is but a breath an instrument of song
music tells the stories of lives and right and wrong
The scent of yesterdays the pathways of the past
forward now the future into the everlast

    Proverbs 16
24 Gracious words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
