Johnny Cash and Rosanne Cash - September When It Comes “September When It Comes” There’s a cross above the baby’s bed A savior in her dreams But she was not delivered then And the baby became me There’s a light inside the darkened room A footstep on the stair A door that I forever close To leave those memories there So when the shadows lengthen Into an evening sun First there’s summer, then I’ll let you in September when it comes I plan to crawl outside these walls Close my eyes and see And fall into the heart and arms Of those who wait for me I cannot move a mountain now I can no longer run I cannot be who I was then In a way I never was I watch the clouds go sailing I watch the clock and sun Oh I watch myself depending on September when it comes When the shadows lengthen And burn away the past They will fly me like an angel to A place where I can rest When this begins I’ll let you in September when it comes

Jackson C. Frank - Blues Run the Game “Today” is the tomorrow you were talking about yesterday. So stop procrastinating and do it. NO . . ., That was last week! And. . . “The best thing about the future is that it only comes one day at a time”—Abraham Lincoln
Dry Branch Fire Squad - By The Mark (live) When I cross over I will shout and sing I will know my Savior By the mark where the nails have been By the mark where the nails have been By the sign upon His precious skin I will know my Savior when I come to Him By the mark where the nails have been A man of riches May claim a crown of jewels But the King of Heaven Can be told from the prince of fools By the mark where the nails have been By the sign upon His precious skin I will know my Savior when I come to Him By the mark where the nails have been On Calvary's Mountain Where they made Him suffer so All my sin was paid for A long, long time ago By the mark where the nails have been By the sign upon His precious skin I will know my Savior when I come to Him By the mark where the nails have been By the mark where the nails have been
Cat Stevens - Father and Son I happened to be writing some of my biography for my grand, and great grand children, and I came across this song in my files. It reminded me of the time that changed my life. I joined the military against the wishes of my mother. Unfortunately or fortunately, I never knew my father. Enjoy.
I can never listen to this song without a twinge at my heart. So I sent a message to my son to ask him how is he. He lives alone now because he goes to the university and he never gives news if he doesn't need anything, and often I am afraid to annoy him if I am too much pressant. He did not answer yet. Sons are cruel.
Hmm... I think about this some times. My boy is seven, to be eight in January. I try and make the most of the time we have, because I know as he ages, I may not get as much time with him. We hope to give them the tools they'll need into the future, to hopefully make the right choices. So we guide and direct them in the hopes that they have a better start in life then we had. It would be my greatest hope for him to follow Jehovah's will, and to simply be able to tell me he enjoys his time. Life is so full of trials, that if he can keep from much of it, and find a way to enjoy his time cleanly, then I will have succeed in my direction.
The secret is time, time and time. They must see that when they have a problem, we are there to help. My son sent me a message 2 weeks ago at midnight because his iphone was not working anymore. The screen was totally black. So I made a research on internet and resolved the problem in 5 mn. Now, I wonder, why did he not make the same? He could perfectly go on internet and made the same research I have made, He can use a computer more easily than me. I thought that having a problem, the first thing for him to do was to call his dad. It is a little thing, but it means that he trust me and knows that I can not abandon him when he needs.
Hi Tsaphah Glad to hear that you're writing your biography for your family. It was always interesting to hear about my family's background.
Pink Floyd - Is There Anybody Out There? hello. . . .HEllo. . . HELlo. . . HELLo. . . HELLO. Is There Anybody Out There?
I know, I know! ! But . . .the song is beautiful. Friends and family, we live in a broken world, but God says that we are enough. No finery needed. Just our broken and weak selves. Our presence, not our presents, is enough for Him. Just like the little drummer boy. Poor, small, and uncertain that he had anything that would make a difference, he offered the only thing he could think of and Jesus smiled. "Souvenirs - John Prine" (with Steve Goodman, from album “Diamonds In The Rough” - 1972) All the snow has turned to water Christmas days have come and gone Broken toys and faded colors Are all that's left to linger on I hate graveyards and old pawn shops For they always bring me tears I can't forgive the way they rob me Of my childhood souvenirs [Chorus:] Memories they can't be boughten They can't be won at carnivals for free Well it took me years To get those souvenirs And I don't know how they slipped away from me (Guitar Interlude) Broken hearts and dirty windows Make life difficult to see That's why last night and this mornin' Always look the same to me I hate reading old love letters For they always bring me tears I can't forgive the way they rob me Of my sweetheart's souvenirs [Chorus]
Give a Little Love by Griffin House Well, I don’t know but I’ve been told It’ll come back if you let it go Open your heart, open your mind The world’s gonna turn And the sun’s gonna shine Everybody give a little Everybody give Everybody give a little bit of love Comes back around Love is the reason why we’re singing this song You follow your heart and you can’t go wrong You can save it up for a rainy day But you can’t get it back ‘til you get it away Everybody give a little Everybody give Everybody give a little bit of love Comes back around Everybody give a little Everybody give Everybody give a little bit of love It comes back around ou ou ou ou ou ouu (repeat 6 more times) Everybody give a little Everybody give Everybody give a little bit of love It comes back around Everybody give a little Everybody give Everybody give a little bit of love It comes back around
