Hi Jan, My answer is likely no. Of course the world is dealing with maniacs today, in many countries. (Lu 4:5-7) Any attempt to attack the USA will be met with total destruction for North Korea. The detection and response system in effect for the USA is beyond most peoples knowledge. The reason the USA has held off for now is to not show their hand. China and Russia would love to know what they have. It’s like a card game. North Korea throws out a small card hoping for the USA to respond with a larger card. Sort of like a Trump card. It didn’t work. China, being a close relative, is hoping to see what the USA has. They pass. Russia passes also. Now it’s up to North Korea again. They’re holding 2s and 3s.

Instead of "Germany and Austria" and "Russia/UK/France" with a backdrop of the Ottoman decline, it's "Russia and China" and "Europe/US" with the Middle East-Israel-centric, oil-economy backdrop. They saw it as soon as it was launched, and immediately knew where it was going. They didn’t reveal their hand. If it indicated otherwise, it would have been intercepted at takeoff, and soon after, North Korea would no longer exist.

That I would easily understand to mean that the death stroke of Revelation 13 happened. Here are the verses about this stroke: I saw that one of its heads seemed to have been fatally wounded, but its mortal wound had been healed,+ and all the earth followed the wild beast with admiration.4 And they worshipped the dragon because it gave the authority to the wild beast, and they worshipped the wild beast with the words: “Who is like the wild beast, and who can do battle with it?” 12 It exercises all the authority of the first wild beast+ in its sight. And it makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first wild beast, whose mortal wound was healed. 14 It misleads those who dwell on the earth, because of the signs that it was permitted to perform in the sight of the wild beast, while it tells those who dwell on the earth to make an image+ to the wild beast that had the sword-stroke and yet revived.+ Interesting that the stroke is defined as a sword-stroke, so it seems that the stroke is caused by a weapon. And because North Korea is threatening US and they have missiles and nuclear bombs, it really looks like this could happen to fullfill the prophecy. And it could be near in time. And interesting that it says the wounded head heals, and it seems like it heals quickly. So a nuclear bomb against US would not do so much damage. Maybe if it will be an EMP attack, US then quickly get back the electricity. Or they just blow up the government buildings but the key persons of the government escape in a bunker? We have to wait and see. But I can tell you I am really eagerly waiting this to occure any time now.

I’m having a hard time trying to find the right words to answer your question. I recently tried to answer a similar question from a friend. Their response was, “Getting an answer from you is like pulling teeth!” There was a saying used during World War 2 which said, “Loose lips sink ships.” In other words, be careful what you say, and who you are speaking with. Let’s just say that I am aware of more information than the general population. I will leave it at that. Also, the threat of EMP is a bluff. For one thing, not enough is known about the creation and use of controlled effects of EMP’s, especially when used with an explosion of the hydrogen type. It would be like trying to control hurricanes. You can see what happened in the Caribbean, Florida, and Texas. It’s like saying, “Here’s a sample of what to expect. Your infrastructure cannot handle the load.”That was in a small part of the earth. “And I saw, and look! a pale horse, and the one seated on it had the name Death. And the Grave was closely following him. And authority was given them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with a long sword and with food shortage and with deadly plague and by the wild beasts of the earth.” (Rev 6:8 NWT) A fourth part of the present estimated earth population is about 1.875 billion. As I started preparing this, the news person on CNN stated that a highly positioned government person said what I did. “If NK escalates the situation, it will be destroyed.” This may be just boastful language, but nothing can be dismissed at this point.

I recently resigned a couple of months ago from working for the UK government (Civil Servant), and I'm under obligation to refrain from revealing confidential information. If I take up another job here or overseas within two years of resigning, I have to obtain government permission. One day all this will be irrelevant, and only God's government and Law will matter! Winter olympics are ending now. South Korea requested US to take it easy until the end of the games. Lets see what happens here next. When US puts too much presure on North Korea, they could nuke US. I would probably tie that to the sword stroke to one of the heads of the seven headed beast. Then it would come soon back to life and after that it would start to blaspheme God. Maybe the beast would blaspheme God for allowing the death stroke to happen? And soon after or in the same time the initial attack on the holy place would happen and the right time to flee to the wilderness. Interestingly if we draw a parallell with Jerusalem and the flight of early christians, the timing would be april-may for the first attack.
