    This article explains how a woman was able to hear the sounds of her muscles moving e.g. eyes, swallowing, chewing, etc. She endured this for 7 years.

    The problem came about from fluid leaking from the superior canal (one of the semicircular canals of the balance system) and this fluid was thinning the bone around the ear. A surgeon corrected the problem by filling in the holes in the bone.
