Does anyone know about this film ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worlds_Apart_(2008_film) http://www.allmovie.com/movie/v431768 Sorry, I can't find trailers in English excepted through subtitles. I haven't watched it, just made some research about it. Interestingly, nobody will be disfellowshipped for getting married with a non-JW mate (excepted in case of unrepented porneia). The b/s in question will "only" be marked for a (quite average/long/very long) while, depending on the elders they have for the JC and also on the behaviour of the "guilty" person during said while. I know, I have several examples in my congregation and in the ones around mine. Well, that's nothing new but that's impressive to me how worldly people can use and especially misuse God's commandments in order to make them look like illiberal, psychological and spiritual strangleholds.
Agreed. Hence the prophecy in Psalm 2 about the nations "tearing off their chains" from the God of Israel.
